It was impossible to break them in, turns out this is actually a common problem for DM's. The owner recommended stretching the instep after I requested to cut the tongue, and it worked beautifully! The employee repeatedly called me inappropriate pet names such as "babe" and "sweetheart," which was unprofessional and uncomfortable. I brought in three pairs of shoes, including one pair in a rare colorway that cannot easily be replaced. When I received them back, it appeared that parts of the shoes had simply been spray painted rather than properly restored. The quality of the work was unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was the lack of honesty and communication. The employee later told my husband that additional work had been discussed and completed, even though this was never communicated to me directly. We were also charged extra for services that were never clearly explained. Overall, this business was dishonest, unprofessional, and did not properly clean or restore my shoes. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service or respectful treatment.

Now... the clothing!!!! I think I own 3/4 of the inventory available! I travel A LOT!!! I can't even explain the compliments I get on my wardrobe. Fashionable, so comfortable, and affordable on any budget. I am talking Rodeo Drive worthy clothing at reasonable small town boutiques pricing . I am always dying to see what is new!!!!

I really can't say enough good things in this update...but I'll certainly try. Since my last…read morereview awhile back, the wife and I have been here many times and have had more opportunities to peruse their selections and get to know the various employees. There are a few things we've found here that have stood out... First - The employees are just wonderful. From Devi herself to everyone who works for her. They are friendly, helpful, always smiling and happy to make suggestions on clothes and accessories and the like. I *really* appreciate that, even for an obvious "chick store", they don't make the Husbands/boyfriends/misc. men feel unwelcome. They girls here are always willing to chat the guys up and engage them in helping select ensembles for their significant others. Aaaaand... if the guy just wants to relax.. there's the "husband couch" which has been mentioned before. And I'll tell you from experience.. Its comfy!!! Second - The prices. Now I will grant you; you are not going to find the same kinds of low prices here that you would at, say, Ross Dress For Less. However, the items here are of a much higher quality. That being said - the prices here vary. Customers with just about any and every budget can find all kinds of fun things here. From simple to fancy to ooooh la la - when it comes to clothes and fashion accessories here. They also have sidewalk sales which my wife can attest to is a source of some fantastic finds. Third - And we just recently discovered this... they have LAYAWAY! YEA BABY! So even their pricier stuff can still be within reach of more modest budgets! *Does the Snoopy Dance of Joy* So really... guys? You want to make your ladies happy? Set aside a little room on your credit card and take her here. You'll be happy you did. And if you get too bored, go around the corner to Augie's and have a latte or a cappuccino.
