I bought a bag off the real real app and it was used for sure. But as a person who really enjoys vintage clothing and items, this was definitely an item that I wanted to get because it was recently priced and I just need a little bit of love. I did my research by looking around Vallejo in Fairfield to see who could actually take care of the bag because it did have some white spots and it just needed cleaning up, Richard was amazing, he was open on Saturday, I was able to stop by show him the bag and he quoted me a great price of $50 to bring it back to life. I left the bag with Richard for about two weeks, came back and amazing! Richard was able to explain to me in detail what he did, was able to fill in the spots with whatever leather filling he has. And at the end of the day, I walked out of there being a very happy Customer! If you need anything done with leather, just check with Richard to see if he can do it! I purchased an expensive Nomad black shell cordovan strap for my Watch and the clasp adhesive + weak stitching broke within two days of wear. Nomad, hardly known for its stellar customer service, ignored my countless emails and attempts to contact them for warranty work, so I turned to Richard for help. Richard was able to save the strap and reinforce the poor OEM stitched clasp, and I could not be happier to have it back. While it was gone, Nomad finally reached out and sent me a replacement strap that also broke within a few days' wear, but at least I have one that I trust thanks to Richard! I searched high and low, looking for someone that could alter my jiu-jitsu gii pants which were extremely oversized for me. No one wanted to touch them due to the complicated stitching and tough material. Richard found a creative and more cost effective way of altering them that the others had not thought about and was able to size down the waist and narrow the pant legs as well as sew on a custom patch. He even used matching yellow stitching to blend the alterations in with the existing stitching. He did an amazing job and I am completely satisfied with the work and craftsmanship. I stumbled on Richard looking for someone to fix the zipper in a motorcycle suit. I'd been looking for a few months but just hadn't found the right person. On a lark, I looked on Yelp while searching for the hours of another business I was visiting in the area. What pops up but Ergil's review with the word "motorcycle" in it. Luck was shining on me that day. I made an appointment and dropped by Richard's shop. First off, he was understanding of my being a few minutes late which impressed me. I hate being late. Its a peeve of mine. He sized up my project and determined it was a fraction of the work I expected and offered to fix it while I waited, for a lot less than I expected. He showed me why the zipper failed, so I'd know how to avoid it in the future and also fixed it in such a way it shouldn't be able to happen again. He then took a few minutes to discuss with me some alterations a friend needs to a similar suit to help him understand his options. The world just doesn't have enough awesome old world craftsman who know how to solve problems and just make things happen. We're lucky to have him here, and I wish I had more work to throw his way. He was totally cool about me being an absolute *ick and ignoring him while dealing with a problem at work, too, while he was fixing the suit. Incredibly great work. I was utterly impressed by the quality of his work. The owner Richard is a nice guy that does honest work. I got a great price on re-sizing several of my belts. He did it the "right way", by removing the excess from the buckle end. You can not tell it was ever altered. Best part was, he did while I went to lunch. I had my expensive jacket for alteration to shorten the sleeves last June 2022. The alteration is good but so expensive that it cost me 100 dollars for a simple repair. I discovered that the same alteration would cost only 15 dollars in San Pedro and Oakland. You can take your jacket for alteration to Toyo's or Mari's repair shop for just 15 dollars. read more

He also told me a clever way to reposition the knee armor in a pair of riding pants. If you have gear that needs repair or isn't quite right, he can probably fix it.
