There is no one better than Scott when it comes to taking care of our beloved Boston Terrier Wally. We absolutely trust him and know he is in loving hands when Scott is at our house. Wally has glioma (incurable brain cancer) and is susceptible to seizures so he needs meds 2x daily at specific times. Knowing Scott is there to ensure Wally gets this is so comforting and helps us actually enjoy our vacations. I highly recommend Scott (though I shouldn't share his details since he can get booked very early ;) ) but anyone who is looking for amazing care, look no further! read more

Again, as always, Scott made going away and leaving our girls, stressless and we are so grateful to him.

We'd never hired a dog walker before, so I immediately came to Yelp to look for one in the Martinez area. After I read the stellar reviews for Leash on Life, there was only one thing to do and that was call them. My husband is disabled and has been unable to walk the dogs for sometime and then due to other pressures and an injury, I could no longer walk them either, and they were really getting the short end of the stick. Scott and Meg came over to meet us and the dogs, and we set up a schedule. They have been nothing but professional, and the dogs eagerly await their prompt arrival three times a week. Usually Meg is the one who comes, and the dogs have never missed a walk since we set up the arrangement. I highly recommend Leash on Life for dog walking. read more

I've trusted Scott for 5 years with my precious pup. He's responsible, responsive and puts up with my anxiety over leaving my dog. He's a rare find! read more

Leash on Life is dependable and ROCKS! Scott has taken care of my dogs for years! Whenever he visits, they are really glad to see him - they really ADORE HIM!! This I consider to be a very good sign. I can trust Scott for care, feeding and administering medicines. When I am away, he takes care of things like turning on/off lights, garbage bins, blind/drapery closing/opening, packages and mail. On my first night away, he always calls and lets me know how my pets are doing, and sends pictures via my cell phone during my absence. When Leash on Life takes care of my dogs, I don't worry about them. Scott is responsible and has gone the extra mile for me when needed. read more

Scott has been petsitting for me for the past five years. I recommend this service because of the flexibility, obvious care for the pets and reliability Scott offers. He cared for my now-deceased 24 year-old kitty, Dickens, with as much concern and care as he does for my "new" two-year old, LuLu P. He always does the extras - picking up mail, bringing in garbage cans, watering plants, etc .He is always available by phone or e-mail if you need him - once I had to call because I couldn't remember if I had left the oven on, and he was ready and willing to go check for me! Five stars for a great service! read more

Leash on Life Pet Sitting - LuLu Petite - Dog Walkers Near Me

We originally got Scott's info from Pawsitive Pet Sitting, after the owner moved away. She had been our trusted pet sitter for years, and it was nice to get her stamp of approval for Leash on Life. We have been really happy with Scott. He has kept our pets safe and happy while away overnight. Its so nice to be able to take a trip and feel confident that everything is going to be fine. Scott is someone who truly understands how hard it is for pet-parents to leave their furry-kids in the hands of others. We're pretty high maintenance about checking in, and its all no big deal to Scott. We will definitely keep working with him. read more

Scott was referred to me by Pawsitive Pet Sitting, when the owner moved. This was probably 3-4 years ago. He had some big shoes to fill, but has filled those shoes! Scott seems more like a family member than someone who just comes to take care of my kitties. Scott has hired a helper and I really liked having her in my home also. Reliable, friendly, knowledgeable, loves the animals, both dogs and cats. What more can you ask for? Give him a call. read more

You can't ask for a better pet sitter than Scott. We never think twice about heading off for business or pleasure knowing our brood of two older cats and one active dog are in his care. He handles it all. And our gang simply LOVES him. He remembers every detail about your pet's needs and the house in general. We even left him in charge shortly after we moved in together, integrating my older cat (who hated dogs) with my boyfriend's dog and older cat (who didn't like other cats). While we were away Scott sent us a picture of the two cats hanging out together! Even though we told him he could keep them separated to make things easier on himself while we were away, he had no qualms about working with them and getting them used to each other. He's a Cat (and Dog) Whisperer. Scott has no problem with any special needs including meds. or special diets. He is an excellent communicator and always gets back to us right away with regards to any last minute instructions. He is truly the best in the business. We were out of the country for eleven days recently, and even though we missed our gang, we never worried for a moment with regards to the health and welfare of our pets or our home while we were so far away. Now that's peace of mind. read more

l can't say enough good things about Leash on Life Pet Sitting. Scott took amazing care of my cats & home while l was away. He answers very promptly when texted, took careful notes on my animal's care, and saved my garden when the temperature soared to 100 degrees. He generally sent an update every day that he was there that everything was fine, which l appreciated. His rates are very reasonable for all his hard work.. plus, we all know that when it comes to our pets, peace of mind is priceless! read more

I want to see that Scott has taken care of my dogs for near 10 years now. 10 years--how that for an endorsement?! Scott is not only a great guy, but also totally responsible, trustworthy, dependable, prompt, and so wonderful w/ my current beagle. He goes above and beyond when taking care of a pet and house. THANKS, Scott/Leash on Life!!!!!!!! read more

My wife and I are moving away from Walnut Creek, and the single most thing I am upset about is not being able to have Scott walk our dogs. Scott has been walking our dogs for a few years now, and they ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIM! They are so excited every time he comes over to walk, and he has also done overnights with them as well. He is 100% reliable, has fantastic skills managing the dogs, has come through in many last minute emergency needs, and is even so nice that he will bring our garbage cans up from the curb on days that he comes to walk. Scott isn't just our dog walker, he's a part of the family. He has my highest recommendation in all regards, and any pet is lucky to have him as a friend. I guarantee you that you cannot go wrong with Leash on Life, and if I could only get him to work the Berkeley area I would never let him go. read more

We LOVE Leash on Life! We're empty nesters and the time had come for us to find someone to care for our two doxies when we are out of town. Scott was recommended by our vet, so we hired him and we're so glad we did! One of my dogs has separation anxiety, and truthfully, so do I! I hate leaving the two of them behind, but with Scott -- for the first time -- I was able to completely relax and enjoy myself, knowing for SURE my dogs were safe and in good hands. The other thing we like about Scott is that our dogs totally love him. There is a little bit of doggie let-down after we get home, they actually look for him and seem to miss him! He is very professional and organized, as well as dependable. And he does more than the bare minimum dog care -- things are all in order when we return, our newspapers are brought inside, and the house is in order. No pet messes either. It is SO nice to have someone like Scott to depend on, especially if you love to travel but are really attached to your pets. Don't hesitate for a moment to use his services!!! read more

All we can say is wow! Scott is a true professional. My wife and I were a bit nervous leaving our two Schnauzers at home after our last pet sitter was unable to watch them. Having someone new can be challenging but Scott took the time to do a meet and greet and our pets loved him! I knew they would be in great hands. Scott had us fill out some simple paperwork and took the time to ask us questions and really put our minds at ease when he offered to text us once a day just to let us know that everything was OK. I can't thank Scott enough for his care and attention to detail for our pets. When we arrived back home we found that our boys were very well taken care of and if anything bad was to happen I am sure Scott would keep us well informed. Take it from us, look no further! Scott is your man for any pet sitting job! Thanks again Scott! read more

Scott is the best!!!!!!!! My 2 large dogs love him. The dogs are very happy with him. Scott does a great job with the house watering plants mail etc. while he is there. You will not find a more loving, reliable and thoughtful pet sitter than Scott. He is truly amazing. He has been sitting for us for at least 4 years. We first discovered him when he was recommended by a vet staff member. We had an older cat with diabetes and she needed daily medication. We hated boarding her in a tiny cage at the vet's office and decided to try a home pet sitter. Scott was truly amazing with her and our other kitty too. We were nervous at first about the medication issues and our cat could be a challenge when she didn't want the meds. But, we returned home to healthy, happy and slightly spoiled cats : - ) Scott does everything you could wish for including lots of little extras like rotating a light on in the house, bringing in the mail or the garbage cans. He definitely goes above and beyond! I think our cat actually gives us a bit of a dirty look when we walk in after vacation and she realizes it is not her favorite buddy Scott coming in the door! It is so fantastic to know that your pets are safe, happy and well cared for, in their own environment, while you are away. It gives us great peace of mind and we cannot say enough wonderful things about Scott and the care he provides. read more
