I enjoyed the opportunity to certify in his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt course. The blend of classroom lectures and practical application within teams helped me completely grasp the material and critical concepts. Our class had a 100% pass rate on the certification exam. I encourage anyone interested in Lean Six Sigma to take any course from this training organization.

Our course was a five-day course from 9 am to 4 pm daily. The length of each day felt appropriate and I would always leave each day feeling like I had a firm grasp of the material, and looked forward to the next day. Our class consisted of individuals from several different functions and each of us passed the class. A huge thanks to Erik for being such a great teacher - each of us left with an eagerness to begin using what we learned! I would highly recommend this course for people who are looking to learn both Lean and some Six Sigma principles.

Also, the wifi in this school sucks. There is no internet for anything on our chromebooks to load. Also, the admin BLOCKED the school camera? They refuse to let students use it. This school has no library or any quiet place and when its unbearably hot outside at recess, the teachers force us to stay outside which is insane. Also, never attend your school fundraisers because firstly, about 3 years ago, we needed new microscopes for science class-which is reasonable, so we raised a lot of money, about $10,000. But even until now, we never received them. Also, the money was supposedly spent on the teachers. That is ridiculous. During events like the spring formal or vday dance, the items there are stupidly overpriced and so is their after school champions. Just get your child an uber at this point. Don't bring your child here.

First of all, the teachers here are very picky and have horrible favorites. The teachers expect…read morestudents to act like adults, but they are like 10-13? And then they take the fun out of childhood as they refuse to let us have fun in life. They call this school a "rigorous college prep" but it should be called "rigorous mental destruction." Students are berated for not understanding the material instead of being encouraged and listened to. The councilor is also not the best, as she just ruins students' self esteem (the opposite of what they should be doing) and doesn't respect student's privacy or understands a joke. The rules are overly strict like not being able to talk during lunch. LUNCH. The only time we get to socialize with our friends and make long-lasting relationships. They treat us like we have no life outside of academics and aren't willing to hear us out when we try to explain.

I've had a mixed experience with this school, and unfortunately many of my concerns have not…read moreimproved over time. One of the biggest ongoing issues is the car line and pickup/drop-off process. It feels very disorganized and often inaccurate. There have been multiple times when staff clearly see the pickup slip with my child's number, yet my son is still not brought out in a timely manner. At the same time, parents are not allowed to get out of the car or retrieve their children themselves, which makes the delays even more frustrating. On top of that, interactions during car line often feel rushed and, at times, rude. Parking is another major problem. The campus is very small and located right next to car dealerships, leaving little to no overflow parking. Street parking is extremely limited, and the Porsche dealership nearby does not allow parents to park there. This becomes especially stressful during school events. Parents are not allowed to come inside to drop off or pick up children during these events, yet the performances are only about 10 minutes long. With the already limited parking, it hardly feels worth the stress, especially when parents aren't even given time or space to take pictures with their children afterward. Overall, there is very little parent involvement encouraged. Parents are often isolated from activities like events or things such as the bubble run, which makes it feel like families are kept at arm's length rather than welcomed into the school community. I've also never met the principal, which feels unusual for such a small campus. Academically, the experience has been inconsistent. There is a large amount of homework assigned, but grading does not always feel accurate or timely. Communication around expectations could definitely be improved. Given the size of the campus, the lack of parking, and the limited parent engagement, I genuinely feel the school has outgrown this location and should consider a larger campus. At this point, I'm unsure if I will be re-enrolling my son next year.

I withdrew my child from this school due to repeated instances of racial bias and unfair treatment…read more He was often blamed for things he didn't do, singled out, and not given the same support or protection as other students. Despite raising concerns, the administration failed to take meaningful action and even manipulated my child into a narrative they were comfortable with everyone believing. They also manipulated a scenario of my child being an issue, despite my child having no history of behavioral issues in school and being an A, B student. This school did not provide a safe, inclusive, or respectful environment for my child, which made me withdraw him immediately. If you're highly involved in your child's schooling, I suggest you don't enroll them here. The school prefers parents who simply drop off their children and don't care about their education. Additionally, they tend to ostracize your child if you're not a significant contributor to the school. When I withdrew my child, who wasn't there very long (2.5 months), we finally met the principal for the first time since he was enrolled. We informed her of everything that had happened within the 2.5 months, and she was apologetic and told us that this school was not for everyone. The school is very small, which did not provide a healthy learning environment for my child. They lack a library, a nurses' office, and physical education facilities. This school thrives on money, and their biggest gimmick to get you to contribute is joining the PTO. I don't know where the money is going because it's not going into the school. They have you sign up for band for $75, but they don't have real instruments. More like instruments of jingle bells and recorders. The charter school my son goes to now has band and orchestra as a requirement for all students, he now plays the saxophone. He has to keep playing until middle school, which he is only 9 years old. They are teaching him Mozart. The school's ratings are determined by staff and parents voting multiple times, which has resulted in its ranking as the 28th best school in the state of Nevada. We were very excited when our child got accepted into Coral Academy Eastgate because we were on a waitlist of 235 for Tamarus location, which is a great school. Their Sandy Ridge location is also great. So, if you're on the waitlist for anyone of those schools, just wait. Don't accept any other location. Eastgate left our child traumatized. He needs counseling from the manipulation and racism from staff, teachers, and students. Please read all the reviews on this school before enrolling. PLEASE BELIEVE THEM. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt like we parents who left bad reviews. It's not worth the stress on your child and family that this school will cause.

A MOTHER'S TESTIMONIAL TO Brain Balance Achievement Centers:…read more What I can tell you from the deepest part of my core is that Brain Balance has been a huge game-changer for our daughter and family. Our journey started 6-months ago at Brain Balance where she started with many factors including: SPD, Anxiety, Giftedness Traits, Emotional / Social Struggles, OCD and this coming Monday will be here last session (having completed 72 total - 3x a week for 24 weeks at an hour each session). This program has helped her to create more ease and connection between both of her hemispheres. She came into the program right brain weak and tested at a 2.5 year old - although she was 5.2 in age and her left brain being overly strong, tested at 6.2 years old. So her gap was 4 years between both hemispheres which is what contributed greatly to her imbalanced ability to function at her given age. She's made incredible progress and her developmental growth in areas of social / cognitive levels has been up to 7 years in some areas from all the physical and sensory exercises and healthy nutritional efforts. A lot of emotions came up for me at the time of our daughter's assessment. My own anxieties of "can I do this", "will she do this", "how to pay for it" - all very natural and yet all fear-based - which is so prevalent to us as parents of special needs children. We have experienced so many struggles that we have felt "beaten down" and trusting that anything is going to work "this time" around. I wholeheartedly can tell you that Brain Balance Centers is THE best most single investment (financially, emotionally, spiritually, physically) that a parent can make if their child struggles with any of the following challenges: academic / social / behavioral issues, lack of focus, trouble making friends, tantrums, impulsiveness, learning disabilities and family / social relationships. Brain Balance provides a comprehensive, non-medical approach and deals with the SOLUTION not just the symptoms. They take the approach of the whole brain so that once the brain is balanced, thus the whole body, mind can work in concert with it. If you haven't already, I highly encourage you to read through Dr Robert Melillo's books: starting with "Disconnected Kids" to give you greater insight to his incredible research, work of Brain Balance itself. Our daughter started Brain Balance Centers in Las Vegas and 3 months into it we moved to Colorado (which I can tell you in no way would I have ever thought that to be possible knowing where we were when we started her back in March). She finished her last 3 months at Brain Balance Highlands Ranch and has been thriving and growing leaps and bounds in ways that I continue to prove to us just how significant Brain Balance has been for her. A year ago, we had to pull her from school (and homeschool her) due to a transition we made from one preschool to another. And a year later, we are in a new city altogether and she started in a new (way bigger) school and she has transitioned almost flawlessly. Her level of anxiety around meeting people, me leaving for errands or appointments and others watching her or putting her to bed has been amazing, she has conquered fears around swimming and even some of those sensory-tactile issues where I couldn't barely brush her hair (she's more at ease with) and her ability and growth in self-regulation where she is not losing it or melting down endlessly in public or at home over the "littlest things" has been transformational. The "seeds of change" being planted into the brain through this program (homeopathic) and non-medicine combined with the positive and supportive environmental stimulations that are helping those "seeds" to grow, has been mind-blowing. I know for a fact that had she not been in Brain Balance we could have NEVER made this move to Colorado as we did. If you know my work around conscious parenting (I have blogged many times) along with my personal videos, I have experienced every emotion and then some that a parent does with a child of special needs. These are just some of my passionate and heart-felt insights to our experience. I know that every child's needs are different yet the underlying problem with children struggling developmentally is the same. It will involve your support at home with food changes, exercises and limiting screen time. The teachings and practices of Conscious Parenting by Dr. Shefali have been my foundation through it as a parent. I embarked on the conscious parenting path before Brain Balance and have found it to have been a life-changing process for me too.

My daughter was very smart prior to moving here and this school didn't slow her down. She has continued to excel in reading, math, science and Physical education. She has taken after school activities such as piano, yoga and even fun activity clubs and loved every one of them. I was able to see my child from a public trail and was quickly spotted by the PE coach as she confronted me and confirmed with my daughter that she knew me. I was really happy that the teachers have that level of care for the kids to ensure I wasn't a creep. The PTO does amazing things with a lot of dedicated parents participating. My experience with the teachers thus far has been amazing. You get a chance to meet more of them at community events and fundraiser dinners the PTO creates. The traffic came back up for drop off. The principal and other teachers out in the parking lot trying to keep parents moving any methodical pace. There is a flow to the process to ensure all kids get dropped off quickly and in a safe manner. The crossing guards are always there and always have a children's safety as the number one priority from what I've seen. I'm also amazed how the people letting the children into the school in the morning seem to know nearly every single one of them. My child's experience has been great. We dedicate a lot of time at home with our children to help them learn that at school. It seems the teachers do the same which makes the school work very well for us and our level of involvement with the children. The ram run is an opportunity for the kids to run laps in the morning before school starts and a great opportunity to motivate them to stay more active. My daughter really liked this and over the course of the ram run duration from October to May, she ran over 60 mi with a couple laps each day. This is not required and starts about 15 minutes before the bell rings. SafeKey is offered before and after school. I have only used a before school option. I know this is a CCSD provided function and not a school function but I asked the SafeKey teachers how they manage a number of teachers versus students and they told me they provide the appropriate number of teachers for whatever children are signed up for the SafeKey that day. One afternoon, I watched children throwing rocks into the backyards of houses so long the trail. I didn't expect there to be enough SafeKey teachers to be able to watch every kid at all times since they are all playing in the large playground. I told the kids to stop and they did. I then went over to the school to talk to the SafeKey teachers and they address it immediately. I never saw any children throw rocks again. Overall I think the teachers of the school are very attentive from my experience. I think the pickup and drop off goes as efficiently as it can go since the school doesn't actually have a large parking lot for everybody to park. It seems like the PTO and staff are dedicated to provide the best environment they can provide. I am very happy that I chose to live in an area that is zoned for this highly rated school.

You want to get there early for a good parking spot, but there 2 neighborhoods from each side also have a walkway that's very accessible to park there and walk. I recommend parents to get involved in their kids' school if they want to bring change to it. My kids are happy there and any issues that have come up have been resolved by teachers and other staff. I hope to see more before and after school programs.. Any place will have room for improvement , but overall happy here. Nice parents and kids
