I arrived a few minutes before opening and was willing to wait, but the woman working inside saw me and immediately unlocked the door. She was very friendly not just with me but with the kids in the store. It's such a warm, bright and friendly environment. You can find so many things here including toys, books, large items like ice cream making stands and rocking horses, costumes, legos, puzzles, art and other creation making kits, stuffed animals. It's nicely set up, bright and welcoming. The prices are also reasonable. They provide wrapping and choice of ribbon color as well. They continually change what they have in stock and stay relevant with the seasons and holidays. A better (and more common) scheme would be by complexity - light vs medium vs heavy strategy, with coop games on a separate shelf. We asked the staff for recommendations, and the person who helped us was less than helpful. You could tell from his tone that he wanted us to leave. He pulled games arbitrarily off of the shelf without much explanation of why he even recommended them. All board games are at market price. I went to an author signing for an LGBTQ+/Queer graphic novel and spent an hour talking to the authors and artists.
