From the very first class I took, I met incredibly talented people who have become true friends. The community here is supportive, caring, and always uplifting. Dancing has become therapeutic for me, and thanks to this studio, I've even had the chance to experience what it feels like to dance on a world‑class stage through their amazing programs. Being part of this studio is something I'll carry with me forever. a core memory that will stay with me for the rest of my life

I feel so much healthier, and the community here is so friendly. There's a great variety of styles, and the overall environment is welcoming whether you're newer to dance or more experienced. There are so many amazing instructors, but I try to never miss a class with Hanna (hip-hop). Her energy is so high and positive that it's honestly therapeutic. She's an incredible teacher who breaks down choreography in a way that makes it feel doable, even when it's challenging. I also really enjoy Loups (hip-hop) -- he's hilarious, great for fundamentals, and somehow always drops the best life advice. Also a special shoutout to Elm (hip-hop), Yuki & Brooke (K-pop), Maoka (house), and Adrianna (jazz funk) -- their classes are so much fun as well. One thing I really appreciate is their community app where they post the class videos. It is so helpful for looking back to see your progress and figuring out how to improve. It's right next to a KBBQ spot with a tiny lot that fills up fast, so I recommend street parking. If you've ever wanted to learn how to dance, this is the place to start! First class is free!

The dance team and studio director Jami Gobee puts an enormous amount of stress on these dancers and then criticizes them when they can't handle the stress. She refused to allow any medical accommodations that were provided, and repeatedly told us that she knows more as a dancer than our surgical doctor and therefore wouldn't accept the notes!! Instead of allowing accommodations, she made punishing threats and forced my child to take all of her classes when she was injured and sick. With every request, I received a cold and rigid response like the one copied from the other reviewer. Jami and her dance teachers regularly humiliated and ridiculed my child for her anxiety when they were the root cause of that anxiety, and told her that her dancing was getting worse (I wonder why....). Anxiety increased exponentially during her time at Fusion, and dropped almost instantly once we left. Jami told the entire dance team not to talk to us when we left, which speaks volumes to her character. They are all afraid of this woman. I would love to say that this is a good studio, but Jami creates an unhealthy environment for youth that I would not recommend to anyone. So unfortunate and so misguided.

At the end of class, after I am spent, she has us do like a million Sautés then Relevé in first and hold it. She says something to the effect of..... take all that energy and quiet it. That's what makes a dancer, being able to create all that energy and harness it. That resonates with me and I appreciate it. Granted I am bay FAR the oldest in the class, but personally I don't mind it. I find it both nostalgic and inspiring. Overall great studio, and I can see in the girls the fabulous technique they have. Beautiful dancers, and Chelsea is a great teacher!

THE OWNER (FRANCESCA) PUSHED ME…read more I read a negative comment about the lady at the front desk who always seems bothered by questions. That was 11 years ago. I cannot agree more to this day. Every interaction with Rose has been completely off putting and unwelcoming. At Thursdays recital, pick up was a complete disaster. I was pushed by multiple parents and then THE OWNER looked me dead in the eyes and pushed me. The barrier the older students originally had up was no longer there and parents all had their kids. When I saw another mom I know with my daughter, I walked towards them. THE OWNER PUSHED ME AND SAID NO when other students were with their families. My daughter is 3 years old and short like me, so once I finally found her I wanted to get to her so she felt safe. I wasn't pushing anyone, running around, or acting aggressively in any way. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT WOMAN LAID A HAND ON ME. The teachers are nice, but almost all staff who work the front desk have been too bothered for questions or any interaction. I grew up in a studio that felt like a community, this is NOT one of those places.

Our teacher (or Kumu) is supportive and does an impeccable job of teaching hula even if you are an absolute beginner like I was, you have nothing to fear because this is a place where all will feel welcome and supported. And if you're also a slow learner like me, do not worry, our classes are live streamed and recorded so that we can go home and practice without feeling completely lost. This is a feature that I have never seen in any other class which makes this Hālau stand out from the rest. I love being able to hone my skill even if I'm not able to make it to the physical class. Not only do we learn Hula dances, I appreciate the fact that we are able to learn Hawaiian because Kumu does a great job of showing the cultural aspect behind hula as well. I can confidently say that joining this Hālau would leave you with no regrets whatsoever. If you are ready to embark on the beauty that is the hula journey, "ʻAʻa i ka hula, waiho ka hilahila ma ka hale". As we learned means, "Dare to dance, leave your shyness at home!"

Kristina was so accommodating, letting our team set up before the wedding party even arrived. You could tell she truly cared about making the space look beautiful, and she went out of her way to make sure every detail was great. We even had a small mishap with one of the items we brought, but Kristina didn't hesitate--she quickly found a replacement before the event even started. Her kindness and willingness to help really made a difference. Before the reception, Kristina took the time to chat with our team about the details and logistics, which made setting up smooth and totally stress-free. The kitchen was clean, organized, and stocked with everything we needed, and the bathrooms were spotless--which our whole team appreciated. I'm so glad the wedding party chose this venue for their reception. Kristina's hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made it such a beautiful and memorable celebration. I'd highly recommend this venue to anyone.

First of all, I really didn't know what to expect and I was a little nervous coming in the first day. But Brandi was super nice and is an amazing teacher!!! She breaks down all the moves step by step and teaches at a perfect pace! Not too slow, but not too fast either! By the end of class, everyone's doing a full on choreography together and it's SO FUN that I forget that I'm working out! No worries if you're a beginner and have zero dance experience. If you just enjoy dancing and want to get some exercise, this class is for you whether you're male/female, or whatever age! :) Also, the music is on point! So fun with a great upbeat mix of top 40s, hip hop and some old school jams from the early 2000s. Sometimes there's a live DJ too which is awesome! Note: this class is located upstairs of Boogiezone Utopia and is a separate company. The building however says Hype Studios from the outside. Kinda confusing... Parking: free in shared lot with Kuma

Not only to get a good workout and a good sweat, but it should build a community of fun, happy, energetic people, who support each other and have a common goal to live life to the fullest. Changing the world through dance might seem like a daunting task, but at our company's core, we know that if one hour a day, a week or even a month can positively affect someone's well-being which is then spread to those around them, the ripple effect of our GROOV3MENT could, in fact, create a better world for us all to live in.
