My daughter has been dancing at Jazz It Up Studios since she was 5 years old! Ms. Jazzy has been such a fun, supportive, and kind hearted dance teacher. She is one of the most truly gifted dance teachers I have ever met. What makes her stand out more than any other dance teacher is she is not only a teacher, but a mentor to the kids as well. If they need something or just need someone to talk to she is there for them. Jazz It Up is truly a magical place where kids get to not only learn to dance but find themselves through dance and also find life long friendships. We had the most amazing experience at Jazz It Up Studios for my daughter's 9th birthday party. The venue is spacious and clean. Jazzy, the owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. She even helped us with ideas on how to set up our party decorations. We were able to use her speaker and lights. The kids had a blast, and the parents were impressed too! It made the day so special. Before we left Jazzy even sent me a highlight video of special moments she captured. I am thankful as I was busy hosting and didn't have pictures of some key moments. I can't express how amazing everything went with Jazzy and the studio. Jazzy is such a helpful and amazing host! She helped us soo much making sure everything was okay and checking in on us. She helped us clean up and even let us use her dolly to set up. She's super easy to communicate with and such a kind soul. The venue was also amazing! We fit about 170 in there ! The Entire experience was AMAZING ‼ from the day I went an inquired about renting the space til the day of they event. The price was very reasonable. Jazmine was very professional, kind and attentive to my needs. She was available for any questions. And may I add the space is Beautiful and HUGE‼ the day of the event her staff was very helpful. This is a review for the jumping classes (as opposed to the dancing classes): I recently started coming here to take jumping classes after my fav studio in Redondo closed. The location - This studio is located in Old Torrance. Street parking is free, and I've never had to park more than a block away. Best of all, it's near a little cafe that's perfect for a caffeine boost after my workout. The class - Jumping fitness is a fast-paced, low-impact cardio workout. It never ceases to make me sweat (a lot), you can adjust to your own level with ease, and it is simply the best cardio workout I've experienced. It is an essential part of my workout routine, and I'm so happy to get to continue to take classes in the South Bay area. It has mirrors throughout so you can check your form with ease, and there's a bathroom in the back as well. Jazzmins classes are so much fun. She is full of energy and never made me feel lost during the dance routine so helpful (I have 2 left feet so I am always offbeat LOL but here I learned and felt comfortable). I have even been to her work out classes and I truly had a great work out (I was sore for days). The heels class has been my favorite class so far. She encourages you to bring out your inner sexy side. The environment that is created is so friendly and nonjudgmental. I LOVE LOVE LOVE going. This place is AWESOME!! This is a very cute studio in a little cute area in Old Torrance. She has classes everyday and its only $10 a class but she does have monthly prices if you plan on taking a lot of classes. There are many different classes to choose, from Hip Hop to burlesque to Fitness to Mommy and me to Zumba to my person fave Hot Mamas! She is very fun and high energy and all the classes are extremely fun. My daughter whos in her Express jr team loves her and loves going to class every week. When i walk out I always feel good and usually leave very sore lol.
