It's such a special place that welcomes all dancers! We popped around to a few other South Bay studios before finding Fifth Row and we're so glad we found this gem of a studio! They have every type of dance class and accommodate all levels of dancers. The instructors are talented, inspirational people and I love that my daughter is not only given great instruction but also has new role models to look up to. The performances were spectacular - ranging from absolutely adorable to beautiful, uplifting and inspirational. It was truly a joy to watch and to cheer for all the dancers, each with their own special spark, lighting up the stage. It was equally touching to witness, throughout year and at the show, the beauty of the friendships that have developed and the sense of community that is palpable among the dancers and teachers at Fifth Row. As a parent, when I sign my children up for activities, I look for organizations, teachers and mentors that believe in nurturing the whole child and fostering a joyful and inclusive learning environment. I look for places and people that become part of my village, welcoming my children into spaces that become their second homes. Seeing the growth in my daughters this past year, not only in their dancing ability, but also in their work ethic, creativity, self-expression and confidence, I feel so grateful to be part of the Fifth Row family.

I loved the Reiki Movement class I took on Sunday evening…read more Erin was a very welcoming instructor. She started off by going around and giving everyone individual Reiki. I felt the heat in her hands and even teared up a couple times. She then led a meditation journey which helped me get in my body. Even though I'm definitely not a dancer by any means, I didn't feel self-conscious and I thought the build-up in technique was slow and natural. As a beginner I felt comfortable and enjoyed the whole experience.

Sarajane is something special. Beautiful, talented, gorgeous, funny, elegant (ok Im obsessed), truly a goddess. No confusion, no frustration, just real progress you can feel. Now I actually look forward to Mondays (never thought I'd say that), I'm dancing three or four times a week, and I've even started going to socials at the Lighthouse with people from class. Worst Acro class my child has ever experienced. I would strongly recommend avoiding classes with…read moreSuri. The instructor, Suri, was often harsh and made my child feel singled out in front of the class. She frequently corrected my child while overlooking similar behavior from other students. My child was consistently placed in the back, while other students were given more freedom and attention. As a parent, it was upsetting and disappointing to witness this treatment firsthand. Every child deserves to be encouraged and treated fairly in a learning environment. Because of this experience, we will not be returning to this studio and cannot recommend it to others.
