It quickly became obvious that I was going to need full-time in-home care for her during my absence. That evening, I made a phone call to Visiting Angels of Livermore. They offered to provide a full no-commitment assessment, and I accepted. The next day, Mr. Keith Beck, Executive Director, came to my home and evaluated Mom's situation and needs. Mr. Beck was on-time, professional, organized and efficient. Following the assessment, we were introduced to a recommended caregiver who, assuming my approval, would be responsible for Mom. She was professional, very conversational with Mom and an experienced caregiver. By the end of the appointments, I was confident that Mom would have good, comforting care while I was gone. I was extremely impressed that Visiting Angels responded so quickly, and was also able to provide and dedicate quality staff in a timely manner. I continued the caregiving services on a part-time basis after I returned home as Mom was still not quite stable. Another caregiver was introduced and assigned. After a couple of weeks of continued part-time care, Mom became much better and I was comfortable with stopping the services. I highly recommend Visiting Angels of Livermore. All of my experiences (and my Mom's) were positive. It is a very well managed business with a reliable, kind, and supportive team: owner, office staff, and caregivers. Thanks to Visiting Angels I was able to enjoy my vacation. I will definitely use them again when and if the need arises. I know it's costly for home care,but we both agreed that these friendly folks would help us out.Price was not a problem.We made an appointment for the meet and greet home evaluation and get to know our new team members and our assistants.No one showed up at the appointmeant that they promised us in the beginning.I guess that $200,000 set aside for his companionship and round the clock care went down the drain. Luckily, we were put in contact with OneHealth for my fathers post hospital stay. We were so impressed with their punctuality, professionalism and knowledge. The nurse that came by was extremely patient in explaining how to do dressing changes and explained in great detail on how my father was to take all of his medications. The physical therapist, Jim, was beyond our expectation. He was so helpful and compassionate. You could tell that he really loves his job.  Although I hope to never need their services again, I would not hesitate in contacting One Health.

First off, the receptionist is rude, disrespectful and has zero empathy. I wonder how much sensitivity training they get?! You are dealing with families going through very tough times in their lives. Her behavior is unacceptable and she is truly in the wrong industry. I spoke with the assessment nurse about it who left a message for "Kevin". I have no idea who Kevin is or what his title is. I received a voicemail from Kevin days later. I mean DAYS! I call back and the receptionist tells me he never called me and essentially calls me a liar, as I'm staring at Kevin's voicemail on my phone. She refused to put me through to him. That was the last straw! The previous day, I attempted to contact the nurse who had seen my husband only ONCE since his assessment and it was 9 days AFTER the assessment! My husband had a massive heart attack, followed by a serious fall, resulting in bodily harm and injuries, for which he was hospitalized again. Here I am chasing her and she can't give me an appointment to save her life. I told her he has an emergency dental issue and I need to take him to the dentist and she tells me her only availability is during the dental appointment! She then proceeds to get an attitude with me about my "frustration" with her. The next day when I attempted to speak with this Kevin person, whose voicemail had come in during the weekend, and was unable to, I had had it. I fired the agency over the phone and on the spot! Later that day I get a text from the evaluating pt to come and discharge my husband the following day. Are you kidding me?? I was respectful and declined. I contacted our PCP for a referral to a different agency. The agency called me an hour later. They will start in a couple of days. If you truly want good home healthcare services, this is NOT the agency to go to! The evaluating staff are great but after that, good luck! And heaven forbid you need to speak with someone with any type of pull. Forget it! The crass receptionist speaks for the entire administration.

We had initially selected another service, but the had a Covid outbreak the day we were supposed to talk, a couple of days before heading out on vacation. The other service gave us Aimee's phone number, and it was amazing. Aimee understood immediately what we needed, and offered to visit us right away, in less than an hour she was there. I was a bit concerned, after all, 3 gay men dealing with to Catholic ladies... I had no reason to be concerned at all. Aimee was not just professional, but caring and understanding, and we got a caregiver who was also a gay man, so my friend felt more at ease. The team made by Pablito, Ninfa and Rosemarie was very professional, always on time and made our friend's life much easier. They became like family, gave him professional care, allowed us to have more time for ourselves and rest knowing our friend's needs were being take care of. Our friend died recently, leaving a huge hole in our lives, we miss him, and we are sad, but we are also happy and in peace because with Kindred at Home, he had professional care, he had lovely , kind people helping him, every day. He became stronger, he gained weight and was healthier, before he died. Senior Solutions spends more time and money trying to get new clients than taking care of the ones…read morethat need assistance! I have been getting phone calls from them 5-10 times daily for several weeks now!! They call from 700am to 900pm over and over again!! no matter what I tell the caller they turn around and someone calls right back!! I told them no one here needed senior help any longer, mom already passed away! They kept calling back!! My mom already passed, and we could never get help from them when she was alive. She needed assistance and they said she did not quality for assistance as she did not own her home and did not have enough money to pay them!!! My sister, daughter nephew and myself took turns around the clock caring for mom before she finally passed.. Health care sucks. We COULD NOT get help anywhere.. We reached out to Senior Solutions when we needed their assistance then in 2019. THEY were not available to help Mom since she did not have enough MONEY for them!! We needed assistance they would NOT help her! I tied telling them to take my number off the calling list I tried just hanging up on them I tried not answering the phone I tried keeping my phone off the hook all day I tried yelling at them to STOP calling I even tried cussing them out they just have someone else call right back FINALLY, Yesterday I called their toll-free number. The woman that answered was cold as Ice the minute she realized I was NOT calling to obtain their service but to have them take my number off the calling list.. She said the call was being recorded, I told her I was recording too per my lawyer that I retained for the repeated harassing phone calls finally, she said OK my number was removed Today is bliss it is 930 am and no phone calls NEVER EVER get involved with this money-grubbing company..
