Instead of showing an ounce of compassion, decency, or professionalism, Ashlynd chose to be rude, condescending, and outright demeaning. She talked down to me, belittled me over the communication gap, and made it very clear she wanted me to feel small over my financial timing. Let that sink in: I was considering paying this company $80,000, and this is how I was treated. It was arrogant, cruel, and completely unacceptable. No customer should ever be chastised or made to feel "less than," especially while dealing with a life-altering medical crisis. That interaction told me everything I needed to know about this company. I took my business elsewhere, and I strongly recommend others do the same. If this is how Pools By Design AZ treats people before they even get your money, I can only imagine how bad things get after.

He didn't come by to deal with the pool after months of neglect because he left and the hot tub still has mildew. Awful people!! They lie, they don't service your pool and they don't care about causing damage to your pool motor. Blue knight pools merged either then and since then our pool has looked like complete garbage. Yesterday I went out to see my PSI fluctuating between 30-50 PSI so I shut off the system because I don't want to burn the motor out. When Jessie the pool guy showed I I told him that I think the filters are dirty and he said that's not his job. So I asked what is your job and he said to vacuum, scrubbing bottom, and skimming the pool and he refused to clean the filters. Instead he suggested we cancel our contract because he's tired of being yelled at about bad service techs and having to fix their issues. Nobody yelled at him. So I let him be and would again try to call the office (they haven't responded to calls in weeks). Well Jessie found out he can't do his job of vacuuming the pool without suction because the filters were too clogged. Guess who had to do a job that isn't his? Jessie. So now we have clean filters...but why fight with a company you pay good money to for a service? We will be parting ways. Unacceptable. Also, no need to respond with the run around Mike.

I have been quite impressed so far with the professionalism: I received a text message shortly after my call-in giving me a time window for the next day. They texted me again about 45 minutes into my window telling me they would be there shortly, and they arrived promptly. The tech was courteous and skilled - he was able to get the leak down to a trickle without any serious surgery, but recommended I change out my old chlorinator with a salt system that matched my pool controller, filter, etc. Looking forward to getting a quote, but happy with the short-term fix.
