Ambiance is very mysterious and dark. I love. The music is dance and probably should be more French inspired, but it works. Service is slow, inpersonal, and basic. Only one staff member running around. "Are you ready" is not how I was expecting to be asked about ordering nor did we hear specials. Waited forever to be acknowledged. This darling place may have better staff at different times. This morning was a let down. The quiche Lorraine was good. I have had better at Publix. Maybe a different meal at a different time would give a better scope of what they offer, but I am not enticed to try again.

The universe knows. We went up to Deerfield Beach to eat at neighbor The Modern Rose. One issue though - they were slammed and food was an hour+ wait. I had had this restaurant bookmarked for ages, having often remarked how often I wished to go, but let's be honest: I'm a creature of habit and only drive this far up for The Modern Rose. Well, no longer as Le Val de Loire is another winner in the same plaza. We went in and immediately were greeted by a spacious interior, plenty of air conditioning (very important on a hot Florida day), and a beautiful display case full of baked goods. Consider me sold. We chose to eat on-site and were led to a table. We started off with sparkling water. He ordered a complete crepe, which had lots of cheese and ham inside. I chose the quiche Lorraine which came with a small salad. We later had desserts. He chose a pain au chocolat, while I had an apple tart. The apple tart was so fresh that I took one to go as well. Accompanied this with Coke and a cappuccino, et voilà, that was our lunch. Honestly I really enjoyed this place. I languidly ate and felt very much as if I were eating back in France, where they don't rush you when you're having a meal. I would love to come back for dinner. They have many options, including a lamb dish that looks amazing from photos. Irony is I hate lamb, but I'd be willing to try it at this restaurant.

The lemon soul was good. The customer service is excellent! Each time we came the employees were very respectful and welcoming. Love the outdoor seating ambiance.

Found this French Restaurant by researching Yelp recommendation & we were pleasantly surprised. It has a old school vibe like your in France the way it is decorated. They actually even sell croissants & cake when you first walk in which were absolutely delicious. They start you off with complimentary rolls which were a little to hard but they serve with croutons with fresh garlic with oil. Wine & Cocktails were ok. The service is a 5 plus everyone is amazing. They have options for complete dinner which includes salad or appetizers & dessert. We started off with a house salad & the veggie soup which is blended & flavorful. The salad was a nice portion as well. The food is server on fancy plates. We both order chicken & enjoyed them. Our desserts were out of this world delicious. I definitely recommend the apple & napoleon cakes & trying this place.

Just had an impromptu lunch at this really lovely French Restaurant. We were very hungry. Started with the Quiche Lorraine & hubby had the pate'. Both were very good- I understand the pate' was fresh & homemade. We were very impressed. We also enjoyed a very good Bordeaux that paired well with the skirt steaks we ordered. Sorry- no pics- steaks were cooked perfectly & served with mashed potatoes, vegetables & mushroom red wine sauce. I brought half of mine home. We felt very relaxed & ended our lunch with cappuccinos. The service was excellent- everyone was happy & treated us as if we are family- we saw there were French pastries & other desserts- we must come back to try more! Definitely soon!!! Next time I will have pics!

We came here for one reason. The French Onion Soup. It's good, but I've had better. We will return because I want to try one of the crepes. Our vegan daughter got the Vegetable Soup to take home. Max got the Ham, Tomato, and Cheese Sandwich. I had ordered a French Martini and thought it didn't taste right. Well, there was a reason for this. She made me a French 75. Two totally different drinks. She wasn't happy making me the correct drink, but it is understandable. I don't know why they aren't busy. We were the only ones having lunch. It is a beautiful restaurant. Lots of dark and romantically pleasing. The desserts are in their own league. They looked beautiful and deserve a 5 star award.

Decided to stop in after going to the sticky bun since it was in the same plaza. My wife really wanted to try the French Onion soup. My daughter got a take home cup of the soup de jour which was vegetable after confirming that it was vegan. I had a beer and the TBC sandwich. All the pastries looked delicious and my wife told me she wants to come back to have their sweet crepes. I wonder why they don't get more customers? We were the only ones in the restaurant when we were there. Maybe they get more business at dinner? Hopefully so, since I would like to see how their dinner offerings compare to the lunch.

This place is super cute, stopped in just on a whim with a friend. They had delicious French toast, it's dark and a pretty intimate setting. On the fancier side.

This place is a hidden gem. It's a French restaurant with such a cool vibe .You walk into Le Val de Loire, and it feels like you stepped of N.M.B into one of Paris arrondissements , dark and cozy. The restaurant has such a beautiful ambiance. Escargot are super! Roasted Duckling a' l'orange cooked to perfection and the Skirt Steak are melted in your mouth all dishes came with ratatouille and mashed potatoes. We love the food, and Marie is an excellent server. 100 % recommended. Merci Chef

For $10 a piece I would expect more. Napoleon is so soggy you can tell it's been sitting in their show case for at least 3 days and I couldnt finish it.

I'm OBSESSED with this place. South Florida does not know good French food, but this place is an exception. The staff is lovely and very authentic/classy people. They are informative about their product and kind/helpful. However, the food takes the cake. Everything I have tried is delicious..the Escargot, Beef Bourgignon, Salad. But the dessert..is something extraordinary. Highly, highly recommend coming here even if you only have a quick minute..and getting some pastries to go. The cream puff is out of this world, the Mousse as well,

The food is delicious the atmosphere is good seating is tight you talk to people sitting next to you. The service is terrible. We come every year for Valentine's Day and the service hasn't improved. Can't get anyone to get order, serve more drinks or get the check.

One of my favorite French cuisines in Palm beach! The management is on top of all dishes and they even have a bakery that makes special desserts and cakes (order in advance as well) Must have the onion soup and they have a lunch and dinner menu. Cheers to them.

Tradition French Restaurant. Oui, oui!…read more My foodie friends--this is worth your time. From the moment you step into Tradition Restaurant (not to be confused with the kosher spot), you feel it: warmth, elegance, and an inviting French charm. Tucked into an unassuming location at 626 Federal Hwy in Deerfield Beach, this place quietly delivers on every level. The room is effortlessly elegant--white tablecloths, a single red rose, softly glowing table lamps, and modern wood slat walls creating a refined yet relaxed ambiance. Owners Chef Eric Heintz and his wife Anaïs have crafted a truly authentic French dining experience. Eric runs a beautifully orchestrated, high-level kitchen, while Anaïs manages the front of house with grace--engaging guests and seamlessly supporting service. Seventh-generation French culinary heritage, rooted in Northern France, shines through in both skill and soul. This is fine dining without pretense--deliberate, refined, and perfectly paced. Now... the food. Every dish was stellar. We began with appetizers: The Goat Cheese Salad--a seared goat cheese ball presented like art, surrounded by vibrant chive dressing--was as beautiful as it was delicious. The Soupe à l'Oignon Gratinée rivaled the best, crowned with perfectly roasted Gruyère. And the Escargots de Bourgogne--wild-caught, swimming in parsley, garlic, and butter--were exceptional. Sweet, tender, and begging for bread to soak up that green garlic sauce . Then came the mains--and wow. The Half Crispy Duck à l'Orange was spot-on: crispy skin, moist breast, subtle sweetness, paired with fresh vegetables and a comforting potato gratin. The Dover Sole Meunière, deboned tableside, was delicate and elegant, enhanced by a light champagne sauce and some of the creamiest mashed potatoes I've ever had. The Slow-Cooked Beef Short Rib Bourguignon was rich and hearty--bacon, onions, mushrooms, and deep, soulful flavor in every bite ‍. My Florida Yellowtail Snapper with champagne sauce was a standout, topped with crispy taro root for texture, served alongside ratatouille and decorative taro chips--simply magnificent. And yes--we shared the Pommes Frites Maison: hot, crisp, and irresistible. Despite being full, dessert was non-negotiable. The Profiteroles (my favorite) were light, buttery, and filled with sweet cream, finished with warm chocolate fudge. The Handmade Apple Tart was flaky, buttery, gently sweet with just the right touch of tartness. Have I piqued your interest? I hope so--because this is a winner. Yes, it's a splurge, but absolutely worth it. Celebrate something special at Tradition and see for yourself. Easily one of the best meals we've had since arriving. Bon appetite!
