My partner and I wanted to stop in for a quick glass of wine and let me tell you that no part of the experience was quick, besides how quickly the staff was rude to us. We don't speak much French and were treated poorly quickly after trying to ask for a table. After we were finally seated, no one came by to ask us what we wanted for over 20 minutes. Once we finally had someone's attention we attempted to order our wine, not very hard when you can point to something on the menu... I ordered a Cremant de Bourgogne rosé and my partner ordered a vintage premier cru Bourgogne rouge. When the wines arrived to our table, I received a white still wine and my partner had a glass of red. We tried to explain that I didn't order white wine and we were given a hard time that we ordered incorrectly. This is impossible due to how we ordered it, we pointed and verbally said our order to the server... the guy acted like we were just dumb Americans and that it was our fault. We both know that rosé is pink and Blanc is white wine... anyway, they finally replaced my glass with the correct wine. My partner tried his wine and was immediately thrown off by the taste- he waived over one of the servers and asked what wine he was served, the server said it was the Bordeaux... the Bordeaux on the menu was nowhere near where he pointed when he ordered. And again, we also said what we wanted verbally. He explained it wasn't what he ordered and again was given a hard time about it. The server took his glass and came back with something else, it was more in-line with a red burgundy, however neither of us were convinced it was the wine he ordered. We tried to ask for our bill and were ignored for over 20 minutes. We were so fed up at this point that we just decided to leave cash and left. Avoid this place if you're not French. read more
