Really wanted to have a good experience here as my usual salon is by appointment only and didn't have time to wait for a fill. The woman who did my nails really tried to up sell me. I understand they are probably told to do this, but it's pretty annoying. She kept saying how the place I went to before did a terrible job with my nail shape, but she left one of my nails more oval while the rest are almond. The thing that really offended me was that she asked if i wanted my eyebrows done. She literally went back and forth with me asking why not because my eyebrows were "ugly and she could do it better". My friend and I went here for a mani and a pedi for my birthday. The amenities included complimentary wine, massage for your feet with hot stones and hot towels, a very friendly staff, and it's very clean and has a warming feel to it. My mani and pedi was only $65. They did a great job and I felt like I got a great deal. Although I didn't use these services, they also do facials and massages. I really liked the exceptional service on my first visit. The gel mani and pedi were excellent and lasted; the women were friendly and proficient. However, on my second visit, we had an appointment and had to wait about 45 minutes. The gel mani chipped within a week; the pedi was good. I gave it another try and the pedi was good, however, the gel mani again chipped within a week. In all the years of getting gel manis at various places, I have never had them chip. The ladies are really nice. I've had pedicures, massage and a facial. Kinda on the pricey side for it being Allentown. My facial was awesome. The pedicures have been pretty good. The massage was so so. The place is clean and it has a spa feel. I have went a few times and even brought my coworker in for a fill. Worst gel manicure I have ever gotten. Not only was the nail polish all over my fingers but the lady clipped off layers of the tip of my fingers instead of properly removing the excess polish. Very disappointed in the quality for the price you pay. read more

I very rarely get my nails done so I was super excited to treat myself, since this is supposedly a nice salon. I'm only 16 and save my money, and rarely ever actually spend it so this really bothered me. I didn't make an appointment so the almost hour wait was understandable, but still frustrating. I finally sat down to get my nails done, and my nail lady wasn't listening to the length i wanted, and did not put enough cotes of pink on you can see right through to the tip, which i made clear i didn't want. She was clearly in a rush. Once they were done I wasn't happy with how they looked, but just wanted to leave. I was under the impression that acrylics should stay on at least 2 weeks, but the third day i had them on a few nails already started coming off at the top. The gel is also peeling and they look horrible, and they've only been on a week so far. It was a waist of $50, i could have gotten them done for much cheaper and better quality somewhere else. read more

Got a full facial wax by Simin. She was very thorough. Costed $50 . I can normally get the same job done for $25 to $30 else where but I end up going home and finishing the job with a tweezer. So I would consider going again. I do think it was pricy but realizing that I get what I pay for. read more

I always have great customer service here from pedicures to gel manicures and now lashes ! Claire is so amazing I'm so happy with my eye lashes! My friends and I have had bad experiences elsewhere and places were putting one lash on three of our eye lashes preventing them from growing causing eye pain. I do not go to nail salons often, however, when I do, it is a small reward. I frequent this salon because it is close to my home. Many of these visits have involved a gel manicure, with the hope that each would be better than the last. Unfortunately, the pattern continues and each gel manicure has chipped away in less than a week!! Considering the cost, I honestly do not know if I can justify this quality of the product, and "treat" to myself anymore. It is quite disappointing. read more

A friend of mine recommended this salon, so I went. My friend told me that Lee is ALWAYS behind and makes her wait up to 20 minutes. Not sure why she ever returns. On my last visit, I waited nearly 15 minutes watching ladies come in after me and get taken for their appt but no one came for me. I think this salon likes to give out appts but don't fulfill in a timely manner. I am not going to be like my friend and be taken advantage of. This place is my new go to for my nails. Most importantly, in my opinion, this place is extremely clean. You can see that they sterilize the instruments. The staff is attentive and friendly. They hustle but give you plenty of attention and don't make you feel rushed. Hot stones, warm towels, massages, Complimentary coffee or wine, depending on the time of day. They really won me over when I bumped my toe like an idiot and messed up the polish. I asked the woman at the counter if I could just touch it up so atleast you couldnt see a bare spot and she basically got on her hands and knees and redid the whole nail. read more

My first time here and I was not impressed. The nail tech (never told me her name) started off my trying to sell me dipping powder rather than gel manicure. Would cost an extra $10. I politely told her I'd think about it for next time -which was the truth as I didn't know anything about this type of manicure and I wanted to research it on my own before doing it. Seemed once I told her no thank you she seemed quite annoyed. She also did my brow wax and I was never treated so roughly during a wax. Instead of asking me to turn my head a certain way she pushed my head roughly the way she wanted it. She also put the wax/paper down too low on my eyelid and this evening i have a large welt The brows were shaped nicely but boy was she rough. I have read some of the reviews that others have been offered beverages,etc during their service. I was offered nothing. Upon checkout, the manager Shelby started to check me out then answered the phone - she never ended the call before I left so she never asked me how everything was or thanked me for coming. Very disappointed. Had a full set of gel nails applied. Had ridges and sloppy application. I did say something only to have the same tech grind and file nails down to correct. Cuticles were not trimmed etc. had pedicure only to have toenails with ridges and nail polish wore off by today- day after spa visit. 95 dollars for what? Let's see how long my gel nails last. Won't be returning. So disappointed as I was starting to enjoy the time with my sister. read more

I have been to Le Spa more than a few times over the past couple years. I have only gotten my waxing done and have never had a problem. My waxing is always done thoroughly, quickly and painlessly. I recently got my nails done and while the quality of my pedicure lacked the girl was polite. My refill and gel polish was done well and therefore I left happily. One my third return within a 2 month period I was provided the most horrific service. Once I finished my waxing... Which was good as always I requested to get a pedicure. The owner who was at the desk rudely asked me to wait my turn when I had not made a complaint at all. She hastily told me to go away so she can see her other customers. Now I am a patient person and am more than willing to wait my turn, but as a customer I expect some direction and some respect... "Please take a seat I will let you know when it's your turn" would even have been appreciated. After sitting for about 5 mins I asked to for my bill and decided to go somewhere else. She continuously forced me to stay and have the pedicure which is when I told her I didn't need this service from there. When she asked me why in her condescending tone I told her she was rude. She said if she's not nice to me here none of her staff would be either. I didn't want to cause a scene so I paid my bill and left. Le Spa has a new sense of pride and doesn't value a customer and therefore I would caution anyone walking in to turn around. read more

I won a pedicure gift certificate during a raffle and visited today. First off, the spa is huge, very bright, and very clean. I just wanted to use the GC and was asked several times if I wanted to upgrade for $25 more and if I wanted additional services, which I declined. I didn't like that. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went to this "spa" a few months ago with a friend to get manicures. I noted that the sterilizing machine next to my station was used for storage and was dusty. My friend ended up with a wicked infection along her thumb nail from her manicure. When she called the shop to advise about her infection she was told there was no one there to take her call so she left a message. Her call was never returned nor was subsequent correspondence addressed by them. Meantime, my friend's nail almost fell off and it is currently horribly scarred. STAY AWAY!!! read more

I had a an appointment for a pedicure for 6:30 pm. I was put in a pedicure chair for 45 minutes until someone came to complete the service. My feet sat in cold water for 40 minutes. I can understand waiting my turn if I was a walk in. Don't bother making a reservation. I did not get out of there until 8:00 pm. read more

I went here for a spur of the moment gel manicure. Was greeted at the desk by a pleasant woman and was immediately seated with a nail tech. The man smelled heavily of smoke and it appeared as if he'd just come in from smoking, he did not wash his hands. He began my gel manicure and within 15 minutes was complete, half my nails were filed crooked and the gel polish was not covering the tips of my nails. He told me to take my nails out of the uv light and then he rubbed what I think to be alcohol on the nails and said ok you are finished. He then said oh do you want lotion; after having my hands under a IV light I think I would be common sense to offer lotion. Not sure if I will be returning even though the staff was very friendly. read more

I started to go here a couple of months ago and was pleased because it was close to home and the service techs were very pleasant and good. So when my girlfriend was getting married I made three appointments for her, another good friend and me. To be more specific, I RESERVED three times with three different techs so we could all get our nails (gel manis) done at the same time and do some other things together. There was an approx. 5 minute wait for my friends to get seated which was no problem. My wait started to approach the 15 minute mark and when I asked what was going on I was told "2 minutes more, 2 minutes more". After another 5 minutes passed and the tech looked nowhere near to finishing the client in the chair and my friends were almost done, I requested anyone who was available. They gave me someone who was more interested at looking at their cell phone. She was pleasant but not as good as the tech I had requested (and one nail broke after 8 days!) Just for giggles I kept an eye on when the other client left and it was exactly 30 minutes after my RESERVED time. Why bother to make a reservation if they are going to take anyone who walks in regardless of the service/time needed? Who in the right mind thinks that a 30 minute wait is reasonable when you take the time to make an appointment?? When I expressed my disappointment to the hostess while checking out, I got the "we're busy" line. Really? Well trust me, I won't be taking up anymore of your tech's cell phone time. read more

Depending upon the person who does the manicure or pedicure, this salon could be five stars or no stars! I have had some fine pedicures, but two disastrous manicures. One time, they put a gel top coat on regular polish, and another time, the color was a complete mess, and the technician scraped the polish off my skin with her fingernails, leaving scratch marks. The lady went crazy with the file and made a cut in the finger. I understand a small cut but she made a deep cut that blood was coming out. I told the lady about my cut and she didn't do anything about it, she said oh it's ok. OK, to make a cut on a client finger. Now, every time I touch that part of my finger I feel pain. Plus, I think she overcharged me for the slacking of service. When I was paying I didn't get a chance to see the front lady because I was so unhappy that I was going to complaint. I wish I could give zero stars. DO NOT GET EYELASH EXTENSIONS here. My first warning when I was in there to get them done was when I asked what kind of lashes they use and she couldn't answer that question. She said they use what works the best. I should have left then. She put the eyelashes on me, there wasn't a huge difference, I wanted a lot of eyelashes, she gave me some, you could notice I had them on, but barely, I wanted them to look dramatic. She pretty much did what she wanted and not what me, the paying customer wanted. Needless to say, half of them fell off within the first few days of having them on, the rest were clumped together and wouldn't come off. They ruined my eyelashes, I had the glue and a few straying eyelashes on that long. I tried everything possible to get them off (without going back to this horrible salon). I used olive oil, baby oil, coconut oil. All the recommendations I was told to do. I also went to an aesthetican's office, they could not get them off and they put eyelashes on. They advised me that the glue used must not have been for eyelashes because they should have fell right off with the baby oil. The salon doesn't refund money back, so I was out $100 and ruined eyelashes. read more
