Came here for one of their themed afternoon teas. It was SO much fun!!!! We were lucky enough to go to the LGBTEA themed tea. (Their themed tea services are listed on their website and on set weekends only). There were two amazing drag queens and a pianist performing for us for the whole service. I wish I had their names but regardless shoutout their local drag scene. There were so many teas to choose from and there were many unique flavors and notes in the teas! They as well had bottomless mimosas and screwdrivers (causing me to forget to take photos of my tea). Like other tea services they had finger sandwiches, scones (with spreads), and small desserts. The desserts were good! The other items weren't for me really but I'm not a big finger sandwich or scone lover. They were able to accommodate my party and provide gluten free alternatives/swaps which is always great. (You have to call far prior to the tea services-ideally when you book the event- to ask for an accommodation to their set courses). They have a very clean very cute bathroom as well. Such a big recommendation if you're interested in an afternoon tea.

The menu for high tea

I came for the high tea and it was lovely. Lisa was our server and she was so cheerful, even though we had just had hurricane Francine. Each person gets their own plate of sandwiches and sweets, so I was able to have it customized to suit my dietary preferences and accommodate my allergies, which was wonderful. The lobster sandwich was divine, the chocolates were lovely and my tea was just delicious. I also had a glass of champagne and my dining companion had a cocktail. These were included in the price of the tea which was about $50 and then with tax tip and gratuity included it came out to $65 a person. We were thoroughly stuffed and pleased. The music Playing in the background was a professional harvest and it was beautiful, but it wasn't too loud. The furniture was gorgeous. It was a very serene and pleasant atmosphere and the bellman were all wonderfully kind as I valet parked. Valet parking was eight dollars, which is a discounted rate with the high tea and I didn't even have to ask to get it validated hostess automatically did it for me. Incidentally, there is also an ATM on site if you want to tip the bellmen and they do share the tips.

I always get a formal tea when I travel. I really enjoyed the selection at this location! The sandwiches offered a good variety of flavors and I greatly enjoyed their black tea blend and chai. A fun bonus was the included cocktail! My complains include that the tea was not left on the tablet requiring the waitress to return to offer refills. I was left waiting when I was wanting more! The other is that, on the dessert tray for myself and my 3 friends, there were not identical offerings, making it awkward to decide who got to try each item. Overall, worth a stop, as we had a lovely time!

Great experience! Yummy tea options, tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts. Recommend afternoon tea for any low key celebrations!

Tea time is my absolute favorite, so it was only right that we come here while in NOLA. Our waitress was great, the tea and pastries were delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Smoked Salmon, truffle deviled egg salad, lobster and corn salad, smoked turkey and red pepper, cucumber and curried chicken salad

This was an absolutely amazing experience! The atmosphere was incredible, everything was delicate and beautiful, the harpist was an elegant touch. All three courses were absolutely delicious, perfectly executed and flavorful. Our tea assistant was charming and very friendly, making sure our cups never went low and she even asked the harpist to play a beautiful rendition of Happy Birthday for me as she delivered my beautiful dessert assortment. It was such a sweet surprise and a truly touching gesture. I'd happily attend tea service again.

Ehh, maybe not my cup of tea. Pun intended. This was our first girl's trip to New Orleans and other than myself, none of the other girls have been. We were staying at Windsor Court so decided to have afternoon tea at Le Salon, which is located on the other side of the hotel lobby. The setting couldn't have been more spot one...the harpist was playing beautifully, ladies dress in hats and Sunday's best, and finest China was out. Maybe I was hungry and jet-lagged, but the I did not care for the small bites. The sandwiches were ok, but the bread was hard. Scones were good after you scraped off the sugar crust. The tea was delicious and there was a good assortment, just wish you could've chose more than one. You also get to chose a cocktail. Overall, the experience was fun, food not so much. Would we do it again? Probably not. And that's the tea...

Great ambiance. I went for a birthday tea party. The harpist was nice added touch. Made reservations a week before. My guest and I were fascinators and dresses.

Traditional English Tea time is my new favorite travel to do. We started off with cocktails and delicious finger sandwiches. The have a nice variety of teas to choose from, its was soo hard to pick just one. The room is located in the lobby but very inviting with a harpist and traditional decor. The service was ok and overall the experience was a great value for the price.

I took my mother and mother-in-law to Holiday Tea at Le Salon and we all loved it. Such a great experience! The Windsor Court Hotel couldn't have been a more festive setting. They decorated Le Salon with poinsettias, gold-gilded magnolia wreaths, a gingerbread McMansion and a towering Christmas tree. In one corner, a harpist was playing which was a nice touch. It all felt welcoming and fancy without any stuffiness. The traditional English tea service consisted of the following: --A glass of sherry, sparkling wine, chardonnay or (adult or nonalcoholic) cocktail --A pot of properly brewed tea (choose from two dozen varieties) for each guest with coarse rock sugars --An assortment of English tea sandwiches (truffle egg salad, cucumber, smoked salmon, smoked turkey, curry chicken salad and lobster salad) --Scones with preserves, Devonshire cream, lemon curd & vanilla bean whipped cream --A plate of mini cakes, tartlets, chocolate covered strawberries and truffles The presentations were beautiful and everything tasted more delicious sipping tea with my pinky out to be extra. Attentive service from Kimberly made the difference. She made sure that our teacups stayed full and our nibbles were constantly replenished. Holiday Tea is a popular tradition in the city of New Orleans so reservations are a must. I tried to get us in before Christmas but I was told that by that time (early December) they'd been booked solid for a couple of months. I highly recommend Holiday Tea at Le Salon if you're looking for a unique, memorable holiday experience in New Orleans. Just make sure to get your reservation in early.

Traditional English Tea ($47 pp)

Tea parties are the best parties ;) That is my motto. I love tea rooms, and this one has just made a spot as one of my favs! For the price per person, it is expensive. The tea rooms I've been to in the San Francisco Bay Area are about $30 or less. For this tea room, the online menu lists it as $37 per person for the traditional English tea service (already expensive..), but upon my arrival, it was $47 listed on the menu. I'm not sure if it's because Christmas is around the corner and the theme is more Christmas-like here. Even though I thought the price per person was quite expensive, I think it's a great opportunity to just experience it/treat yourself once in awhile. **Book ONLINE reservations at least one week in advance!! SUPER PACKED! The English tea service includes a glass of sherry, sparkling wine, chardonnay, specialty cocktail or nonalcoholic cocktail. A properly brewed pot of tea. English tea sandwiches: truffle egg salad, cucumber, smoked salmon, smoked turkey, curry chicken salad, & lobster salad. Black currant and walnut scones with raspberry preserves, Devonshire cream, lemon curd, & vanilla bean whipped cream. A miniature cake, tartlet, chocolate covered strawberry, & truffle. **My visit for the Christmas season had different scones - gingerbread & cranberry. Located on the first floor of the Windsor Court Hotel, when you first enter, it is on the right side. The tea room is not a private room, it is more of an open-space tea room next to the lobby. Coming here around Christmas time is just gorgeous! The big 'ol Christmas tree, matching mistletoe-like designs on teacups and plates, and poinsettia everywhere!! With or without the holiday decorations, this room itself is still beautiful. Service was great, as our waitress was so friendly and attentive. If you are coming with a party of two, you will most likely be seated on the side or in a corner. I highly recommend coming in a party more than two because then you get to sit in a bigger table or on the couches. The interior design here is exquisite; very French-like. It makes me feel as if I'm one of those higher class people, having tea, haha. They also have a harpist and piano player. When we first arrived at 3 pm, the harpist was playing for awhile, and stopped for about 30-60 mins, before playing again. The atmosphere is lovely, with ladies everywhere, chitchatting. Noise level isn't loud but averagely quiet. I've always wanted to bring my mom to a tea room (cause she's never been), and she doesn't visit me in San Francisco often, so I took this as the opportunity to take her on an adventure and let her try something new. She's not much of a tea drinker, even as an Asian. We ordered one of the special Christmas tea and she loved it! She couldn't stop raving about how delicious it smelled, and didn't even want to try the other tea we ordered. Even though the food comes in small bites, it can definitely fill you up (depending how many glass of tea you've had). Also, the desserts are super sweet!! As a disclaimer, they automatically add 20% gratuity to your bill. For a party of two, our bill came out to be $122, tax and gratuity included. You can also take your food to go if you can't finish. Even though it's pricey, I'd definitely love to come back again! I highly recommend you guys to come here for the holiday season! Also, it's great for bridal showers, birthdays, date, or just a gift for someone.

Extremely disappointing experience. Waited nearly 20 Mins to be acknowledged when we entered. After finding the hostess she went to seat us and let us know that someone was already at our table. She sat us elsewhere and we waited 17 Mins for someone to come to our table. This lady let us know she was not actually our waitress but would take our order. Our first course appeared before any beverages appeared. Water finally arrived at our 2nd course. Our tea cups were often empty. As for our sweets, there were not enough for each of us to sample each one of the creations. Towards the end of our meal our server joked that she kept on forgetting about us. There were three other tables she was tending to in the restaurant. I guess since 22% gratuity is already included there is no reason to create a positive experience for guests. Would not recommend. I will say, the bathrooms were really clean, so that's nice.

We booked an Afternoon Tea on a Sunday during a bachelorette trip earlier this year as it was a recommendation by a NOLA native. - Accommodations/booking: The staff accommodated 12 of us very comfortably. The tables and seating area was ready for us as reserved upon our arrival. -Staff: The staff were very friendly, courteous, and professional. Our hostess was knowledgeable about the variety of teas and provided helpful tips on what to choose. -Food: The loose-leaf tea varieties, gourmet tea sandwiches scones, and desserts were amazing. We loved being able to choose the tea options as well. Overall, the hotel and the experience were lovely and exceeded our expectations. Afternoon tea should be on every must-do list for NOLA.

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

Cute cafe! l love the decor. The furniture is very cute & standout ottoman piano did look vintage…read more This is a walk up & order at the bar venue Your are given a number to your table. The menu has many choices. I ordered the firecracker shrimp with side arugula salad. The shrimp was yummy the salad too but expected more on the salad maybe cucumber or tomatoes over all for just having cheese on Arugula with dressing was ok. I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe. The bartender made a wonderful cocktail with champagne & it was delicious! The spot is dog friendly & in a cute little restaurant/bar row & shops area.
