I fully recommend ANI. I have been coming here almost years now and have stayed faithful because she does such a good job. I literally changed my salon every 3-6 months before finding this place. I am super picky about who touches my hair and it's so hard to find someone who takes their time listens to what you want and also even has good recommendations for your hair. I got asked about who did my hair and every single person I have sent here with Ani has continued coming. She's super sweet and cares a lot about her clients and them leaving happy with their look. She does my hair, my sons, my sister in law, my niece and friends I've told too. We have all had experiences in the past with people cutting way more than we wanted and ANI will never do that unless you ask for it. I think when most people go to the salon for a refresh they're excited for what's to come. Going to the salon is a treat and you should feel confident afterwards. I got the exact opposite feeling. I messaged Marina prior to my appointment and gave her my inspiration photos and she said she could do it no problem. When I got there we discussed what we would do. I asked for a chocolate mauve balayage. She said she would do a mix between balayage and highlights. Marina was showing me colors in his swatches and I said explicitly that I did not want any sort of red. She assured me that it would be more shades of purples and not red. Me not knowing anything about the chemistry of hair coloring, I trusted her. I knew the moment she started putting all over color on my head that she was not doing what I asked. She kept assuring me that it would look good. While she was drying it, I think she could see my dismay. When she was done, I told her that was nothing what I wanted. She kept telling me that it was so pretty and her other clients like that color and in the sun you can see all the different shades of purple. It was not purple. It was red. All over. The exact thing I told her I didn't want. I left there and cried on my way home. When I walked in the door, my family was surprised by the color I came back with. I messaged Marina shortly after returning home and told her my hair was atrocious and asked her to fix it. She agreed and I returned a few days later. I asked her just to do an all over chocolate brown color. She colored my hair and made it darker but yet it was not what I asked for. Again. If Marina couldn't do what I asked initially, I wished she would have told me before I wasted $300 and am left with a mess that I'm going to have to have someone else fix for another couple hundred dollars. She didn't even get the haircut right. There is not one positive about this experience and I do not recommend her. read more

This was the worst hair experience I've ever had, and it's worth the read. I've always passed by this place but never gone to it, so when I had an event to get my hair done I decided to try it out. To start, the Salonist who did my hair was just not good. It's like she didn't know what she was doing! After not listening to my original requests, we ended up having to do beach waves, but those didn't even come out good! Once I got home my hair was flat straight. I'm serious. No waves! The funny thing is, I was charged EIGHTY-FIVE DOLLARS!! (Yes, I said 85!) I was shocked because I had called ahead and was told it would average from $30-$55, max! As I'm paying I was told 'it's because of your hair length', even though my hair isn't that long. I didn't wanna argue so I paid... I tried calling several times to go back after I got home with the horrible results but no one would answer the phone. But the worst part of this experience comes days later when I spoke to the owner, I believe. She was the rudest owner I've ever spoken too! So conceited, arguing and yelling at ME because I was trying to tell her the issues with the price and outcome. This call went on for almost an hour and all she was doing the entire time was arguing with me. Later that day she realized what she did was wrong, probably because of her mom who was such a sweet person and works there as well, so she texted me offering a refund. So did I take it? Hell no. Not only because that wasn't the point, but it was the principle. If you got this far i would just recommend that you don't come here, as they seem to rip people off, have horrible service and have hair stylists who have no idea what they're doing. read more

This is a review for July 19th. This was my first time at the salon. It's very clean and the hairstylists there are kind. I made an appointment with Ana and she did a wonderful haircut for me. My hair was an asymmetrical bob cut that grew out too long. I asked for an A Line bob cut and I love it! The only reason I dropped a star was because I had no idea how expensive the cut was after she blow dried my hair. ($60 total + $10 tip) My hair was drenched and my shirt was getting wet so it was only reasonable to have it dried. I probably would have reconsidered if she had mentioned that the hair drying was extra in the end. I have to assume that my haircut was supposed to be between $30 - $40. If you are on a budget, I would not recommend going here for a haircut. However, if you intend to go for a dramatic cut like mine, Ana is great for it! :) read more

Disappointed. Salon itself is a 3. I read the rave reviews while in search for a new salon thinking "awesome! This is the one!" It's dated and I wasn't greeted with a welcoming attitude. Kind of like "why are you here? Sit down" no water or coffee or restroom offered before services. Stylist : was pretty rough with my hair. I know it's damaged but that doesn't explain the rough pulling with hands to move my hair. Minimal product used (hair spray and It's A 10 spray) and no product recommendations. With just those I would have given a 3.5-4. But then my stylist started chatting with another stylist behind me about my hair in a different language stating that I bleached my hair which I told her that I had burned it with a curling iron. I really didn't appreciate that and while talking behind me she was holding her phone at me like she was taking my photo or videoing my hair cut without permission and I heard the camera go off. WTH. The worst part: When it was time to pay, I was told to pay her vs using a credit card machine inplying it was cash only. So I gave her a $100 bill for a $60 bill and got 2, $20 bill back. Wow! That was a total sleeze move that taxi drivers do to up their tip. I would have gladly done $20 if she was nice and professional but no way. I regret tipping her $15 (had to ask for $5 back during that awkward moment) because I'm too nice of a person. I hope this helps provide an honest experience to anyone else before coming here. read more

Ana is awesome! I've come to her three times in the past month now. She did balayage and an updo for me. Highly recommend. She is very skilled and also very nice. I am having her do my hair for my wedding day and I wanted my trial run for my bridal shower. She came in when she was off to my hair and she showed me how she'd do my hair for my wedding and then changed it for my shower! I would've been fine with having the same hair for both days lol but she said it should be different and I thought that was very sweet. If you come here ask for Ana! I am very disappointed with this place. Apparently they are recently under new ownership and the new owner will not honor a gift certificate I won from a raffle from my son's preschool fundraiser. Since it was authorized by the receptionist who no longer works there, they are not willing to accept it. Very disappointed and not a smart way to get future clients. Veronica is THE BEST!! I have wanted to dye my dark brown hair orange/copper for over a year but was terrified it'd kill my natural curls. Finally did it and I wish I didn't wait this long! Veronica listened to what I wanted and got the exact color I pictured. One of the shampoos she recommended was the biolage colorlast so I got that along with the hydrasource conditioner and it's been working great! I'm really sad to write this because throughout my visit I was excited to write a good review for this establishment just off the fact that the stylist was so sweet, until I heard how much they were charging me for my blowout. I usually visit a few spots in the area who were not available today (who charge me $35-$45) so I decided to check out this location as their online price stated $35 and up for blowout (I figured for my hair usually it's about $10 more than the standard price, so about $45)... the total was $60 for a simple blow dry, not even using a hot tool...$60 for hair to be blow dried and frizzy after 10-15 mins of leaving. The stylist Rusanna was very sweet but I will not be back. $25 extra for my hair is outrageous and I wish I knew this before visiting- I should have called prior to the visit, but I trusted that their online price would not be soo far off. I am amazed at my new balayage hair... this was my first time getting my hair done in many years and I love it so much. My hair looks natural and healthy. Ana is amazing, friendly and super talented. I am going to have to say, Im definitely not use to getting my hair cut at a salon but I had an awesome experience here I came in the service was excellent. I was highly recommended to a stylist by the name of Carla , and I'm not going to lie I was a bit nervous since I'm am use to getting my chopped at a barber shop. But man this stylist was really nice and gave me a really nice cut. I would have to say I will definitely be coming back she gave me a really nice taper cut which rivals my regular barber skills. Not to mention it's definitely a nice change of pace from normally having my head manhandled by my barber.
