If you are under the age of 30, I would not recommend this salon…read more I really wanted to be the bigger person and let this go, but after my appointment with Edwardo on July 9th, I experienced severe and persistent pain and burning involving my scalp. During my appointment, my hair was bleached, and afterward my scalp began hurting significantly. By the following day, the pain had become so severe that I was crying and screaming. I have never experienced anything like this after having my hair done before. Unfortunately, I did not have medical insurance at the time, so I was unable to seek medical treatment. However, people who saw my scalp afterward expressed concern about how it looked, and the pain and burning continued. Approximately a month later, I went to Ulta to have my hair looked at. Employees there pointed out areas of damage to my hair and explained what they were seeing. My hair is now damaged, and what concerns me even more is that approximately a month after my July 9th appointment, my scalp is still in significant pain and continues to burn. I'm not writing this review to ruin anyone's career. I genuinely wanted to let the situation go, but I'm still dealing with the consequences of this appointment a month later. I'm sharing my experience because I don't want someone else to go through what I have experienced.

Last weekend, my boyfriend was planning on getting a haircut but his usual barber shop had too long of a wait. So we tried looking for another one for him. He declined several places that we visited because their prices could not compete. Then finally I called Genesis, and Lisa answered. She quoted me a great price for men's haircuts. Five minutes later I called again, and she quoted me a great price for women's haircuts too. Last weekend, my boyfriend and I both had our hair cut. Lisa did a perfect haircut for my boyfriend. Beforehand, he let her know his clipper numbers and she nailed it. For myself I didn't know what exactly I wanted. Lisa kindly gave me ideas which I felt comfortable with. Lisa was attuned to my fear of cutting off too much and not being able to go back. It was a refreshing experience. Before we left the salon, Lisa handed me her business card with her number. It read 818-979-3647. After a little under a week, I wanted to cut off a little more and called her. Even though she had just left the salon, she called me back and accommodated me into her schedule. At this point, I had a better idea of what I wanted and Lisa carried it out perfectly. I love my new haircut and will definitely be coming back. Getting my hair cut by Lisa was a game changer. Much Thanks to Lisa!

Together, they're the dream team, and they make me feel so confident every time I leave. What I also love is how attentive they are. If I've ever had even the smallest concern, they take care of it right away and make sure I'm completely happy. That kind of customer service is rare. I know how valuable honest reviews can be for both customers and small businesses, so I wanted to take the time to share my experience. This review may be a little long, but Rabih truly deserves every word. After years of driving nearly an hour to see my previous hairstylist, I finally decided it was time for a change. Finding someone who truly understands naturally curly hair and can create the perfect copper/red color is not easy, so I spent a lot of time researching before I found Rabih. From the very beginning, the experience was outstanding. Scheduling was easy, and when I had a work conflict, Rabih was incredibly flexible and went out of his way to accommodate me by changing my appointment time on the same day. The moment I walked into the salon, I felt welcomed. Rabih is warm, friendly, and genuinely easy to talk to--you immediately feel like you've known him for years. I simply showed him one inspiration photo, and he understood exactly what I wanted. The results exceeded every expectation. My color turned out absolutely stunning. It's the rich copper shade I've been searching for, and my hair has never looked healthier. Rabih also gave me excellent advice on how to care for my naturally curly hair and recommended products to keep it healthy and vibrant. And the blowout... wow! My hair felt incredibly soft, silky, shiny, and full of life. I honestly couldn't stop looking at it. What impressed me even more was how efficient he is. He's fast without ever making you feel rushed. His confidence, skill, and attention to detail are remarkable. I walked out of the salon feeling beautiful, confident, and happier than I have after a hair appointment in a very long time. Rabih has absolutely earned a lifelong client. If you're looking for someone who truly listens, understands curly hair, and is incredibly talented with copper and red tones, look no further. Rabih is a true artist. This was a five-star experience in every way--and if Yelp allowed more than five stars, I'd gladly give them. Thank you, Rabih, for making me feel beautiful again. I'll definitely be back!
