She attempted to draw my blood twice but was unsuccessful. I've had my blood drawn regularly for years and have never had an issue. I was well hydrated, so that explanation doesn't apply in my case. Instead, I left with a bruised arm for no reason and no PRP treatment. After she couldn't draw my blood, I was asked to come back another day to try again. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option for me because I had already taken time off work for this appointment and couldn't take additional time off. I ended up wasting my time and still didn't receive the treatment I had specifically scheduled and paid for. Rather than completing the PRP microneedling, I was told to do hyaluronic acid microneedling instead. While I understand that alternatives can sometimes be offered, I specifically chose and paid for PRP microneedling, and I should not have had to settle for a different treatment because the blood draw couldn't be completed. This experience left me questioning the level of training and competency. If a nurse is unable to perform a routine blood draw, it raises serious concerns about the quality of care being provided during cosmetic procedures. Trust is incredibly important when it comes to treatments involving your face, and unfortunately, this experience made me lose confidence in this med spa. I can't believe I trusted them with my face when such a basic part of the procedure couldn't even be completed. I hope the spa invests in better training and ensures its staff are properly prepared so future patients don't have the same experience.
