As I've aged and hit menopause, the health and structure of my hair has declined immensely. I've never made a bad review and i feel bad making it but i feel it is appropriate to for this. I went to get highlights done and the inspiration photos were dark brown hair with blonde highlights. I went to the salon and did the whole process but i noticed when i got home, after my hair fully dried that my hair was brassy orange and the highlights were sectioned badly. I was even told that after the toner it wouldn't be that brassy orange but it ended up being exactly that. I tried everything but i gave in and went to get it color corrected. I thought maybe i was over exaggerating but even the stylist said she was confused with what the other stylist had done(her name was Lindsey). Even after my color correction the bleach will remain on my hair which is what really upsets me. I'll leave the inspiration photos below and the result i ended up with after my appointment here. Again, i didn't want to end up writing this review but it really has messed up my hair for a while. Also side note: I was trying to be understanding because i already had some highlights in my hair so i understand it could be hard to separate but this is a whole different thing. At least i think so. If the hair stylist was aware my hair could not achieve what i wanted i would have rather been told no instead of going through this process. She was kind and didn't have bad customer service but the hair result was bad. response: I should have gotten my result without having to go do toner every few weeks. I don' t believe that i was told about the toner being done but either way i should have had my hair done like my inspo and if she couldn't do it, that was no problem with me i'd rather be told no in the first place though. I requested the price for a haircut and you told me $75 which includes a blow dry. You didn't specify that's a "starting rate". I'm curious to know what about my hair qualified for a $10 sudden price increase to $85? The importance of being receptive to all types of feedback is also a fundamental attribute. My intention is not to shed a negative light on your business but it is important for me to share my experience, which includes the fact that there was a price change without prior knowledge. Last year, I was ready to chop my hair off and since then and most recently I've wanted it shorter and shorter. 8 inches off, a little trim, and now 5 more off. I feel like free bird! Andy is the only human I'd allow to cut my hair (well, besides maybe my Mom on on occasion or two) but for an actual real deal hair cut - there probably isn't another soul on this planet that I'd allow to take scissors to my luscious locks with. I trust Andy, probably more than anyone in life and I take my tresses very seriously, I mean what human with great hair doesn't?!? My hair is extremely thick and I've worn it long for years and years, between blunt cuts and longer layers but more recently when I look at it long I want to barf, like a little vomit actually comes up. I've been loving much shorter hair cuts lately and Andy gave me one on Saturday that just lit up my life again. I can't say much about the salon, other than it's fairly easy for me to access coming from a much different part of the valley and parking is easy. First time here and I was a bit apprehensive about trying somewhere new but I'm so glad I took a chance and came in! I walked in two days ago with hopes of getting my hair re-done. First, I completely understand how difficult it is to book a last minute appointment, I get that and was prepared for a no. So when I called to book a last minute, same day color appointment, I explained that. The owner was very kind and booked me with Shideh. Well, she was extremely rude and disrespectful to say the least. As soon as she saw me and I let down my hair, she rolled her eyes and began complaining about my hair length and curly texture and said in a demeaning tone that she got told it's a root touch up and she had a party to go to and that's why she said yes. Then, with her condescending tone complained how with my dark, long, really curly hair this is a 5-6 hour appointment. I told her that she could explain that to me in a different way than pulling and stretching out my hair and complaining about it and being shaming and extremely rude. I got up and told her I would never want her service anyway by how rude she is. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Shaming someone for their "very curly hair" and being condescending because how dare I get booked when she has a party to go to. I will never come here again. I hardly ever get haircuts, I cut my hair maybe once a year. I walked into Salon Integriti with long, straight, even hair. I showed the stylist Denise what I wanted and she said she would take good care of me. The photos speak for themselves as I left with the opposite of what I wanted and instead choppy layers. My long hair is now medium length and I have uneven layers that reach almost the back of my head. It's impossible to style them due to the way my hair was cut so I'm just dealing with this. I usually go with short hair when I get haircuts, but last August 2023 I decided to not cut my hair for a whole year to grow it out and try out a longer hairstyle. This month, I decided to try out this salon on a friend's recommendation to finally get a new hairstyle. Coming in, I showed the stylist the hairstyle I wanted, which was on the longer side. They said they could make it work, so I trusted the process during the haircut. I was very disappointed when my haircut turned out very short, basically as short as it was last August. Obviously there's no way they'd know the backstory, but given the fact I showed reference pictures of a long hairstyle and ended up with very short hair, I am very disappointed with how this went. Holy cats, did I need a professional haircut! I'd been trimming my hair myself during covid and it was time for a professional upgrade. I contacted Salon Integriti through Yelp yesterday and the owner got back to me very quickly. She made me an appointment for today with Eduardo. He...Is...Fantastic! I came in with brown, unevenly trimmed hair and left looking like a million bucks! Not only does my hair look amazing, he did Balayage highlights, shampoo, trim, and style in under an hour and 45 minutes. Y'all - I've been in salons half a day before for partial highlights, meanwhile his work is top notch in a fraction of the time! One other thing to mention during covid times: the salon did an amazing job of cleaning (chairs, stations, etc.) between clients. There are plastic sheeting partitions between stations, they allow for distancing between washing and drying stations, and everyone was wearing masks.
