The staff are very friendly and offer suggestions to tourists and food arrived promptly. It was just the quality of the food that is bad. 1/5 Tuna steaks - this is just lacking flavor and if you don't have flavor there isn't anywhere else you can go 3/5 Clam and pasta - this was better of the two dishes and was decent but the clams were tiny. The pasta was just ok. 3/5 Moules - this was also good. It was nice and tasty but maybe because we were very hungry I had high expectations for this place and was very disappointed. I do not recommend the food.

Back to the review, insane views like a lot of Corsican villages. I enjoyed our meal as well, especially the fried zucchini (seems to be a Corsican dish - we had different versions of the zucchini fritters in Corsica, in balls and in sliced versions like here. The staff were very helpful, friendly, allowed practicing French, and made adjustments for dietary restrictions.

The manager was unapologetic and dismissed the cock-up as if we were giving too much importance to the fact that we were not eating together. Yes, the view is nice, but no one deserves to be treated with such contempt. It really ruined our encounter. There were four nationalities around the table, including a Corsican and to be honest, no one was impressed by the staff rudeness. The food lacked salt and any seasoning. When my dish, oven baked kid, arrived, it was inedible, tough and poorly cooked. My friends had fish and lamb and no one managed to eat more than a few mouthfuls. Don't let the view or the presentation fool you; it looks the part, but food there's no substance. There are plenty other restaurants in Bastia, with the same view but with much better food.

I didn't want anything too heavy so opted for a chicken salad with burrata. The greens were just normal and the cheese wasn't a creamy texture that I'm used to but the chicken was amazing.
