The L'Ambada was a lifesaver during my 2-week-long stay in St. Flo, because it's literally the only…read morebar in the village that has reliable wifi (none of the other bars around the port have working wifi as of the summer of '16) The crew (morning, day, night shifts) is extremely kind, helpful and while their English skills vary, you will always get quick service and a kind and warm welcome. They offer le petit déj' complet (a full French breakfast, in other words) in the morning as well as coffee (cappuccino, latte, caffè americano and regular espresso) and croissants/pains au chocolat sold separately. For lunch, they have a separate menu (for instance - they serve croque monsieur exclusively during lunch, or formule midi, as it's called in France) and then they have a third menu for the evening with snacks, crêpes and various drinks (they have a full bar). They also have different ice cream desserts and by the scoop. The prices are very reasonable, especially in comparison to other places closer to the main street of St. Flo and overall, I have nothing but positive things to say of L'Ambada. Oh, and aside from their prices, the wifi is what sets this place aside from all the other bars in central St. Flo though. You get a unique code valid for 1 hour and the connection is strong and flawless during the day but might bug occasionally during the evening, around 10pm, when there are more clients using the same network. If you can't access the network, just ask one of the staff members to reset the router, they will gladly do it (first-hand experience). Generally, I was sad to say goodbye to this place on my last day of vacation and can gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Saint-Florent. You'll find it at the end of the street closest to the port!

The best thing about this place is the terrace, which is lovely and has a nice harbour view. For breakfast we tried the muesli (seems to come from a packet), the chestnut pancakes (ok, but nothing more), the chocolate chestnut muffin (had nutella inside, which was nice, but the muffin itself was bland), and the omelet (very good). The coffee is sadly terrible. For lunch, we had salads (the corsican salad and the caesar salad), which were fine, but nothing to rave about.
