Once we arrived it became very busy due to the other passengers behind us. The staff became overwhelmed but was very nice and accommodating. Wonderful location up on the hill so you get the breeze. We had 8 in our group (4 adults/4 children) and selected several menu items. The menu had good choices for the kids. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Good quality and favors. My tuna and Swordfish was excellent! (pictured). Swordfish was not over cooked and went well with the vegetable ragu underneath. My wife had the Costica sausage and cheese pasta. Excellent! Nice wine and dessert selection. You have to try the chocolate cake! Due to the heavy rush of people from the boat we waited for the first course to arrive and it took us almost 2 hours to finish the meal. So no time to look around or swim! The meal with entree, dessert, wine totaled 238 euros. But in our opinion well worth it! I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 due to the understaffing resulting in wait time and "losing" my 11 year old son's meal AND dessert!

As well as getting all the additional details right, the food at La Table di a Loghja is superb and well presented. We shared an iceberg salad with spicy mayo and onions (the "house salad" - genius in its simplicity), and had white fish carpaccio (I fail to remember which type of fish) with grapefruit, and the langoustine linguine in Cap Corse sauce. The fish carpaccio was fresh and vibrant tasting, and the lingine was the BEST dish we have had in Corsica - absolutely to die for! We managed to sqeeze in room for desserts - pavlova with red berry sauce and chestnut sablee with pastry cream, which were also delicious. The best meal I have had during our 6 night stay in Calvi!

We were very fortunate though. They had asked for RSVP and we didn't have it, but the nice staff gave us a table and asked to be done by 9pm. No Problem!! Another tiny quaint homey place with cheerful staffs. Everybody seemed to be part of the family or became family. We were hungry and it was our first night in Pisa, so we ordered lots! I wanted something warm, so I ordered a "soup", which became to be a bowl of mussels and clams placed on top of the piece bread soaked with soup. OMG, it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! Like good licking finger good! We ordered the Caprese also and that was like another world! Their balsamic was like wine, but without the alcohol taste! We were already in love with their food. It's like two entrees already, but it's ONLY the appetizers. Our pasta eventually came and that was another story. It's beyond words on how delicious and perfectly made pastas were. It will never be the same when I'm back in the US! Like all the other places we've been to, we ordered panna cotta dessert and lattes. We opted for something different since it was her birthday. The staff has very limited English language skills, but with some help from other clients, some body language and some Google we were able to order. I had the "tartare traditionell" and they had added a barbecue sauce to the grounded meat which made it very sweet. The taste was very good, but I would not call this a traditional tartare. The meat was very good and the portion was huge! I could not finish it despite being really hungry! My companion had the burger and that was also big and the meat in the burger was good, but the rest of the burger was quite ordinary. If you neef GF or NGF a celiac travel card in French would be recommended to ensure you get food that works. Tartare is GF! Location and surroundings of the outdoors serving is not the most fancy as it is located by a parking garage entrance, but no car at all came through while we were eating, so it did not disturb us. Despite the language barrier the staff was truly helpful and we had a lovely night.
