For breakfast we tried the muesli (seems to come from a packet), the chestnut pancakes (ok, but nothing more), the chocolate chestnut muffin (had nutella inside, which was nice, but the muffin itself was bland), and the omelet (very good). The coffee is sadly terrible. For lunch, we had salads (the corsican salad and the caesar salad), which were fine, but nothing to rave about.

The restaurant is surrounded by trails around Parata tower, which is a local attraction and frequented both by tourists and locals. So by definition the restaurant serves hikers (like me) who want to eat back the calories we just burned on a hike, so attire is pretty casual. The service was good - they have indoor and outdoor (covered) seating. The food was standard French fare - nothing crazy fancy, but very tasty all the same. I got mussels with fries, which was very nice. And then I sat back and enjoyed THAT VIEW!!!!!!! One small note is that I believe their name now is "brasserie sanguinaire". I would totally come here again if I were ever in town. Although most people drive here I think, I took a bus from downtown that lets off nearby - it's quite walkable from that point.

I walked here from St Francois beach and had a pleasant lunch on the outdoor patio. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, outdoor is smoking friendly so just be aware of that. I ordered the seafood salad, which was delicious and so different in a good way from what I'm used to back in the USA. I finished off the meal with an espresso which was rich and creamy even by French standards. Service was a little slow but extremely friendly and it was the lunch rush so I don't fault them.
