We started with their meatballs. The recipe is the owner's Nonna's recipe. So light and flavorful. Not the hard golf ball you find at a lot of places. The sauce was incredible. I told Mike I could eat an order of those over polenta for my entree! The bread and butter served before dinner is really good. A delicious butter with a hint of salt that complements the ciabatta that has a perfect pull to it. The chocolate martinis are on the dessert menu but don't sleep on starting your meal with one. You won't be disappointed! Our aunt and uncle had the chicken Vincent. Nice portion. 2 lightly floured and panned chicken breasts atop fettuccini tossed in a cream sauce. Seasoned wonderfully. The pasta can be hard to manage on a fork. Our preference would be penne just for the ease of eating it but no complaints on the flavor, presentation or portion side. Mike had a ribeye. Pittsburg, MR. Hard to get MR on a Pittsburg ribeye but it had a perfect char and flavor. Was closer to M-MW but again, excellent flavor. Don't look at the picture and say that's burned, google Pittsburg steak before you think that. The whipped red potatoes are heaven. I had the fried shrimp. Oh. My. Stars. Those fresh gulf shrimp tasted incredible. The best shrimp I've had in so long that I can't remember. I ate Mike's potatoes and he ate my fries. He said he wished the fries were a little crispier but loved the flavor. The tartar sauce. I could drink it. The best. Reminded me of the old Ralph and Kacoos. Freshly made in house. Bursting with all of the flavors. We love the feel of the restaurant. The tables are not too close together. The music was a bit loud when we got there and since 2 of us have hearing aids it made it double hard to hear each other but after the first couple of songs it seemed to go down a notch. We loved their music choices. For dessert we had the brownie. A thick, deep chocolate that was rich and decadent. Not cakey at all. Ala mode took to the next level. The bread pudding was melt in your mouth delicious. The owner is an absolute delight. We can't wait to go back so Mike can get the crawfish enchilada and I'm getting the shrimp again! Also, they have a gorgeous venue for special occasions connected to the restaurant. Can't wait to get back down there! Didn't take all the pictures so we could live in the moment but did get the entrees.

Any review below 4 stars had huge red flags. Let's address those right out of the gate. 4 bites for a portion. Really? Let's be honest in our review. Unless your mouth is the size of a Mack truck, that's an exaggeration to say 4 bites. Maybe too small for your preference but our plates along with all we saw go by were plenty for anyone eating a normal serving. I even took some with me and I'm a pig. I always eat more than a healthy portion. The pasta wasn't cooked enough. People. Al dente. To the tooth. We overcook pasta in the US. That's why it runs our blood sugar up. The glycemic index goes up the more you cook it. Now you don't have to conform. You're welcome to ruin a good steak by cooking it well done and you're welcome to order your house made pasta cooked until it's floppy. Now for our review: We were met by a young lady who was pleasant and seated us right away. Mind you it's lunch on a Sunday. By the time we left, there were just a couple vacant tables. Our server, Jonathon was very pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan, but he tweaked it to his liking. He asked for his fettuccine to be served on the side rather than under the chicken. He also asked that the Marina still be on the chicken Parmesan, but that his pasta be tossed in an Alfredo - cream sauce. I ordered the spicy rigatoni with the breaded chicken cutlet. Pictures of both are below. The kitchen did forget his marinara sauce on his chicken but the server caught it as soon as he put the plate down and brought Mike a ramekin of marinara for his chicken. Both dishes were incredible. Everything was cooked perfectly. We chose not to stuff ourselves into oblivion so we asked her to go containers and we also got a piece of the cookies and cream cheesecake to go which I also included a picture of in the to go container so don't talk about how ugly the picture is, that's on me. They do serve focaccia bread with dinner. The server said the first order is on the house and after that you pay for subsequent orders. You can ask for focaccia with lunch, which we did not do because we were not aware until after we saw someone else getting theirs. As far as prices, people....we are in a post covid inflated era. This is house cooked, not bought precooked from Sysco and heated in a microwave. If you think you can cook this type of food cheaper at home, try it. I dare you. I cook. A lot and it costs a lot. Have you made a homemade cheesecake lately? No?why? Because it's expensive and a lot of trouble. I amke 1 every couple of months. I sell something to pay for it and gripe the entire time about how much trouble it is. Stop your belly aching about how much it costs and just go to Olive Garden and eat bread sticks and bottomless soup or salad. The restaraunt is cozy with white cloth table clothes that add a touch of elegance but it doesn't feel too froo-froo. We live an hour away from this place and we are excited about driving back. Keep in mind that we are old and don't like to drive anywhere and won't even drive into our town right here to get food. Don't pay any attention to the bad reviews. Those people either don't have good taste, are petty or they don't get out very often.
