Though the garlic and parsley went deliciously with the snails. The duck confit was incredible. The duck literally fell right off the bone. We did order a side of cheesy potatoes but the duck already came with potatoes so I probably wouldn't do that again. A gentleman next to us and it have ordering dessert and we were very intrigued by it. He had mentioned that this dessert was something he grew up with in Paris, and that he would dare to say Les Fabricants made it better than his mother did. After that raving review we had to try the ile flottante (floating island) It was incredible. The meringue on top of the custard went together so nicely with the caramel sauce. I would come back here for that dessert alone everything else being amazing too was just icing on the cake. The restaurant itself is more of a hole in the wall kind of feel. I wouldn't say it's upscale but it feels kind of like a homely place. Where you get good food at great prices. Make sure you bring cash because it's a cash only establishment. Otherwise I would highly recommend checking this place out and missing some of the more touristy areas.

It's a small restaurant, but they seemed to fit a good amount of people in there. By 8:30pm, the restaurant was packed. All of the menu items are written on chalkboards that they carry around from table to table. Like previous reviews mentioned, the menu is in French. Be sure to ask for recommendations from the waiters or use Google translate to translate the menu. I ordered the Boudin Noir, which is a type of pork/sausage that you can only get in France. It was a very tender meat and extremely savory. It was well balanced with the mashed potatoes it was served with. The mashed potatoes were also done really well. It was super soft and fluffy. My wife ordered the grilled cod and veggies. She loves fish and was not disappointed by this. The service could have been a little better in my opinion. We were here for over 2 hours and the waitstaff were not as kind as we were expecting. All in all, the food was phenomenal and the price wasn't bad at all. I would definitely return to try other items on their menu.
