The Rosti did not disappoint. Full disclaimer: Rosti can be a bit heavy with the cooking process that can include butter along with some bacon. Yes, the Rosti had the expected greasy texture, but just enough to make it savory without overpowering the various ingredients. I would recommend this restaurant if you are interested in trying the traditional Rosti dish in several varieties.

Since I'm always "game" for a new experience, I was happy to participate! I was a little nervous because when we arrived they had just opened and there was nobody there. However, I soon relaxed and felt right at home, because service was very friendly and encouraging, but with no pressure to try the game menu. I decided to be a little bold and went for the venison medallions. I even tried some of my colleague's wild boar pate, which was good. I started with a pumpkin chestnut soup which I really enjoyed. My venison was lovely as were the accompanying sides. There was a wide variety of side dishes in small portions and I appreciated that. I paired everything with a nice local beer and it was a very nice experience. The dessert menu is extensive and I went with an old standby, a chocolate mousse. It was absolutely incredible. Everything was fresh and delicious, service was outstanding and I could understand that by the time we left, there wasn't an empty seat in the place. Definitely recommend the experience here. They definitely have it down! There was a line of waitresses (only women waiters work there) they were allocated per group in line and walked you to your seat. There is no menu - everyone gets the same thing your only choice is what you get to drink and if you want your steak rare, medium, or well-done. When the plate of food came out, my husband and I thought it was a small portion and then realized they they give you another helping after you finish the first one. The sauce is very unique and flavorful but, I am not sure I would agree on the food being worth the price. We split a piece of chocolate cake on a lemon cookie crust with raspberries on the side. Just...wow. Sweetness, tartness, texture, this dessert had it all in perfect balance. We walked in and the guy asked if we had a reservation, to which we said no. I thought he would say he was out of room, but he offered us the communal table. There was another middle-aged couple sitting at the end. They kept looking over at us; it was a little creepy. The menu was all in French. And since neither of us can speak, let alone read French, we used Google translate to figure out what some of the words were. The server was able to explain to us what everything was and we were able to place our order. My fiancee got a meal-sized salad. And it was really big. We both thought it was going to be small, but he said it was filling, and probably the best Cesar salad he ever had. I ordered the small beef tartare, which is 180grams. I also expected it to be small. But I was so wrong. It's the size of a hockey puck and a little thicker than one, and it comes with a side of roasted potatoes, a small salad, and bread to spread the tartare on. By the end of meal, I was so stuffed. I am really glad we found this place.

When I complained and said it's unacceptable, the waiter asked do we want a table inside? Lol, so now you have space but before you didn't! The waiter just shrugged and said it's normal when you have apartments above! Absolutely disgusting attitude and rude treatment of paying customers! We left without finishing our contaminated food!
