Literally the whole…read moretime, I kept thinking to myself that I was already there and I should take it for the best (I tipped reasonably because I felt bad between it being holiday season and my not being vocal about the experience at the time). The stylist and facialist/manicurist were pleasant and I was told it was a salon in a home but I didn't expect that the facial was in the same space as all the other service areas or that the home included dogs that came out to greet/bark. Luckily my allergy to dogs is relatively minor. This is the first big difference from most other places. My skin was okay when done but I saw (in less than a half hour after leaving) some break out and definitely the extractions were peremptory at best. I still have some areas that needed work. What you also are not getting: calm lighting, eye covers to protect from the bright overhead lighting, warm towels whenever the face is washed off or sufficient amount of humid air to open up pores for best results. Also, the facial is done in the same small front room where there is a hair wash bowl, a nail station, and nearby is a hair station. When someone else is there, there is no possibility of quiet and the music is whatever Alexa plays (that day was medium to high energy music). I also had a manicure and it was okay looking initially but nails were not cleaned underneath, I noticed a small cut in my cuticle line, and a day later 4 of them were chipped/peeling so the "dazzle" polish that allegedly stays on extra well either was defective or badly applied. Overall, not an experience I want to repeat and I don't see myself going again. I will say it was good to have my desire not to talk too much respected.

The salon is clean. Everybody is friendly and welcoming. The hair services I have received have been from Camelia. She has worked on my hair and done root touch., condition conditioning treatments, blowouts, haircuts, and gloss. Camelia is very attention to detail and I love that because I am very detailed oriented as well so I appreciate that. I enjoy her head massage. That is the best part when I go I feel relaxed refreshed and looking my best. The facial I received is with Abby they had a promotion with their skin products that if I purchased a product then I would get a free 30 minute facial I have been wanting to try Aveda's skin services and I was not disappointed. Abby did a great job with my skin. I felt heard with all of my concerns and she addressed them as well. She gave me a nice massage and when I left, I was very relaxed and my skin felt do we moisturized and plump. I also bought a product that she recommended that I'm very excited to use. And I'm excited for my next facial.. I will definitely be making this a routine and part of my self-care thank you Aveda/Inspire salon for make me feel refreshed and happy.

First, let me say, I did not experience the services at this salon, and therein lies the reason for…read moremy review. No one EVER called me back, and I have phoned the salon on two separate occasions; once six months ago, and again on wednesday. Each time I've left messages; "there were three of us ( Myself and 2 teen daughters) and we'd like to make an appointment with a stylist and/or colorist, who has experience with modern cuts, and amazing color." I left my name and repeated my number 3 times throughout the voicemail. No one called us back, not on Wednesday, not Thursday, and not even today. Just to clarify, I've followed our stylist and colorist to every location they have moved to in the last 8 years. We are devoted family, and we are willing to pay for great service. Unfortunately, my stylist and her colorist opened a salon 2 hours away. So.... I read review's and found the Quote from Radine M., and thought I'd give them a call. THEN....NOTHING.. So today, I found a Salon who returned my phone call, and got my daughter in today ( her hair cut and color are both amazing)... and the rest of us will have our hair done tomorrow!!! So to the owner of Hair Cafe....This is a $450+ (not including tip) missed opportunity, multiply that sum x 6 (we get our hair done every 8 weeks) therefore you've lost $2700 in future business this year..( it's FUN to spell it out, especially in a down economy...just how important it is to RETURN a business call). Twice I've called! Great Business model..... it worked wonders for your competitors!
