Went here because my original shop was busy and didn't want to wait another day to get my nails done . Walked in wasn't greeted . The person i was with asked to see the powder colors three times but kept getting ignored had to threaten to walk out to get them . Asked for coffin shape got square . The person doing my friends nails didn't know what she was going and did even file the nails just slapped the powder on there . Never coming here again. If I could give less stars I would. I have been coming here for about a year now. I am familiar with the people who work there. I always make an appointment with the same people. I never get them. I always start out with the another person, I have to keep correcting them either bc my nail is uneven, they missed a spot, whatever the case may be. So then I stop them & ask for the person I made the appointment with. They know I am going to do this, why put me in this position? Today I made an appointment with either Mike or Matt. Did Mike or Matt do my nails? No. Not at all. Another woman did. She gave me a pedicure, no complaints there. I got a gel manicure. She also did that. 5 of my nails were uneven, I asked for it to be fixed. & it's not like one & done. No I have to continue to ask. Now we are painting. I put my nails under the light once & there are so many bubbles. She tried to file them away, I go ahead & asked "why are there bubbles?" Bc we are not about to pretend like that didn't happen. She ignores me. I say "I don't want to continue if there are bubbles" she ignores me. She continues. Files the bubbles away on the other hand. When she files it, they leave little black dots from the file. So now I have bubbles & little black dots. All around it's great. 3 of my nails are still noticeable uneven. I keep telling myself I'll tell Matt that I want him to redo them but then I am so irritated bc I have already been there for an hour & a half. She lotions my hands. & the puts this towel that smells like mold. Now my hands smell gross. I was over it. This is my first time never tipping at a nail place. But I still paid $53 for this. & I am getting married next week. So really would not recommend this place. read more

Horrible service, never going back. Went in at 1:00 was told rudely to come back later. Asked what time and was told 2:30 for my daughter and I to get pedicures. Came back at 2:30 as planned and by 3:20 still no service or even acknowledgement. The one Male staff working there was working on one customer the whole time and there were no other customers or staff. Never even looked up at us once knowing full well how long we had been waiting. Not even attempt to multi task by setting us up while finishing up customer. A little customer service and respect could have gone a long way. Also noticed a lot of the nail polishes looked really old and dried up. Pedicurist gouged my until my toe was bleeding. I will probably end up with an ingrown nail now. Finger Nails were all bubbly and had cotton pieces in them. They looked awful. I returned to get them repainted and unfortunately got the same person and they were still awful. I was going on a 4 day trip and day 1 the polish was already coming off. My daughter got acrylics and one hand did not match the other. Embarrassing for us. Will never return and will warn my friends read more

I needed a pedicure while my son was at a birthday party in the area. We live in St. Louis, so I didn't know where to go around Belleville/Mascoutah. There were 3 customers getting their nails done when I walked in, but I waited less than 5 minutes before they got to me. My technician did a great job - he asked if I wanted a third coat of polish before he was done - not many places ask you this! I opted for the third coat (why not?) and he said that it was a good idea. There was a tv in the back, and the salon was very clean and well-lit. Everyone was nice - I didn't feel that I needed to have a conversation with my tech(I just like to veg when I'm getting a pedi). If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back! read more

I am very disappointed I wanted a simple black nail with one cat design on each hand. I showed her the design ahead of time and she did not tell me she couldn't do it and it isn't too complicated of a design. She completely messed it up which was fine and I told her I would just do a crescent moon but she was in a hurry and didn't want to redo the whole nail. So she took the grinder and grinded off the design and painted over the rough texture. There were white specks all over my nail after that and they also go into the rest of my nail polish. Instead of doing a crescent moon she gave me this weird gold and white circle. Even after I showed her a picture. After she slapped some lotion on my hands without even rubbing it in she said she was finished. The polish was too thick and uneven, even started to come off with in 30 mins of getting it done. Still had white specks all over what was supposed to be plane black and the design was terrible and you couldn't make out what it was. I had gotten my nails done here before without a design and they were okay, nothing special but I'm never going back there after this. And she charged me full price for it! I would have made more of an issue out of it but I didn't want to make a scene. My suggestion is don't go there unless you absolutely have to and done EVER get nail designs done there. Had to wait 30 minutes for service. The man who did nails was very rude and got mad every-time i asked him to fix a mistake. Halfway through, he stopped doing my nails to work on someone else. I had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for him to get back. He seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. He was really sloppy and did a horrible job on the shape. He messed up the shape so bad that i had to fix it myself when I got home. A complete waste of $30 read more

I do not know how this place is ranked so high. I paid 30 dollars for a French manicure and there was nail polish left all over my hands. If I wanted a shitty manicure I could have done it myself for free. After I returned to the store to have them fix it they continued to blame me for the nail polish all over my hands . I went here last night to get my acrylic nails soaked off in attempt to save my natural nail underneath. When I came in, the guy who sat me down insisted I should have them cut shorter or just filled in. I said no, I want them off. He did, however, convince me to to get my acrylics redone after, as I had been planning to eventually, and there was no wait. So we sit down to take off my nails and he starts prying them off. I told him that I usually gave them soaked off, he continued to pry them off. Even when I said he was hurting me. Even when he burned me. Even when I insisted on the soak. He said, oh, you want to soak them? I said yes, he continued to pry them. I sat there and took it. Awful. If I wanted to just rip them off, I would've just done it myself for free, and even a lot gentler, too. I didn't want to be manhandled and disrespected any further, so I told him I would not be getting my acrylics redone and to just charge me for the remove so I could leave and never EVER come back. read more

Stopped by here instead of going to my usual salon because it's on my way home from work. When I came in and asked for a fill, I was told that it would "be a minute." I watched as one lady finished the job she was doing and then sat at her station for well over 45 minutes on her phone without taking a customer. Another worker sat at a nail station and fell asleep. The phone rang and no one answered it (I got the impression that this was the job of the sleeping man). It just rang and rang until the caller obviously gave up. Ridiculous! This use to be the best nail salon in the area and I was a loyal customer for over two years. Lily was always polite and professional and did the best job of all the employees. Due to employee gossip, I overheard that she was fired because of a family dispute. I still kept coming to give the other technicians a chance, but the new employees do not cut it. They do half the job and the polish does not stay on as long as it should. It is also worth mentioning that they have completely changed their nail polish center and stopped supplying matching gel colors and regular polish for your toes. They are pushing a DND brand which only lasted a week and a half! I would no longer recommend this salon. Time so search for a new one!! read more

I've been going here for 2 years and will NOT return. Their prices might be great but their cleanliness is shocking! I went for a pedicure and watched 3 other people leave (received pedicures) and the foot bowls were NOT CLEANED. Not even a bleach solution. I've been here a handful of times, and I enjoyed coming here until my latest visit. Walked-in for a pedicure on a weekend so I expected them to be busy. I didn't wait long before they sat me in a spa chair to wait for the next nail tech. The woman who gave me the pedicure is also the woman who runs the show. She was very busy answering phones, greeting customers, translating for co-workers/customers, and waxing eyebrows all while servicing me. I know they were swamped, but she didn't care to ask what type of pedicure I wanted or if I wanted any designs (not that I did). She was very distracted and was working quickly while trimming my cuticles. She made BOTH of my big toes BLEED. She did her best to make them stop bleeding, but I still walked out with blood drying on my freshly painted toes. Not only was it unsightly, but it hurt. The sides of my toes were irritated for a few weeks, and have now begun to peel.
