Appreciate the women working here that pointed me in the right direction. Their expertise with the products and scent notes were top tier. Upon learning my scent profile, they helped me make bold but educated choices -- The one thing that I have come to terms with is that I love scents that work for me. I used to chase scents that were the "most popular" or "most attractive." However, our body oils change that profile a bit and the same scent does not smell the same on everyone. So although I do enjoy oud scents, not on me. So I told the workers there, "I like strong but subtle" and "I have some sweet scents in my armoire." Santal and Noir were previous purchase and the obvious choice would be something similar. However, a sweeter scent would also be obvious based off my collection at home (MFK 540 E, Carmina, etc.). The ladies here (on two different days) helped me decide on a scent (which I'll gate-keep) and I have loved it ever since. It smells amazing and I've received several compliments so far. Come here, be open to suggestions, and allow the scents to sit on your skin. I'd suggest coming here with no scented lotion or perfume on already and allow the oils to sink into your skin. Then maybe, you'll find out that the less "popular" scent works better for you than the Le Labo you smell on everyone else! read more

I had the best experience here today! Cristo& Jordan were so helpful today! Was greeted with a warm friendly welcome when walking in the store today! I initially wasn't really looking for anything, however walked out happy with everything I purchased today! Talked about my new hair journey I've been having. Cristo informed me about the Scalp Scrub-- never knew about this product but it's AMAZING!! I left with a bunch of other goodies! Shout out to such a knowledgeable staff& a super friendly team. I normally would purchase from Nordstrom since it's local to me, but I for sure will make the trip out to Berkeley more in the future as they have more products and the experience is top notch. read more

Located on Fourth Street near University. Street Parking Small fragrance store with the middle table lined with their fragrances in a light to strong order. They offer different sizes, of which the 50 and 100ml bottles are refillable there. Le Labo also have a body care line. I was curious as to the smell of some of those products and I was pointed in the direction of a tub where all the testers are located. The staff made themselves available to help and very courteous. It became very busy (crowded) in the store and it made me anxious waiting to be checked out. Other than that, it was a good stop. Clean store, organized, stocked with helpful staff that didn't give judgy vibes. read more

Le labo Berkeley is a super nice boutique with a well curated selection of perfume (all unisex!) definitely worth visiting. The team here is super helpful and knowledgeable and happy to answer ALL my questions. They mentioned city scents is a great time to revisit as there is a collection of limited perfumes you can only find in September. Sounds exciting! Can't wait to visit them again in the east bay! read more

We became Le Labo patrons after a visit to the Big Island of Hawaii almost a couple of decades ago, and unwaveringly refill most of our fragrances like Rose or Ylang Ylang or Vettiver. Sometimes, we may try different ones like Santal, but are never disappointed. Over the years we have come to replace our Chanels and Diors too. I drove by and saw a Le labo opened up so I parked and had to check it out! The store is super cute and smells amazing. You aren't allowed to test the products by yourself (due to COVID-19), but the employees can help you out if you want to smell any of the scents. Overall the employees are really nice and knowledgeable and the store is worth checking out. I got santal 33 and have found it wears the longest out of the perfumes I own! :-) read more

I recently bought a bottle of perfume from this store. A small bottle cost about $237. I sprayed some of the perfume I bought from the store at around 3:45 and by 4:15, the scent was gone. Certainly, not the kind of perfume I am used to buying, in which they last for long hours and for days. I collect perfumes and only perfumes because I know it should last for hours or even days as my other perfumes. The sad part is that I cannot return my purchase because I was not happy with their products. I was told by Juan, an employee from concierge that returns or exchanges are not allowed because it was made for me. The only customization they did was to change the label and put my name. The perfume I got was not even altered to suit my personal taste. This company will have serious issues with the government consumer dept. If their perfume does not last long, then it should be sold as Eau de colonge or Eau de toilette. There should be truth in advertising!!!!!! I ma calling the consumers' Department and see what could be done to this company. read more
