My husband and I were walking around the village and wanted to do something we almost never do - have lunch at a restaurant! Le Grill de Julia had a great menu and a fair amount of outdoor seating.
The menu has lots of options: appetizers, salads, several types of burgers, various entrees and a specialty list of entrees featuring local ingredients. Many of the entrees allow you to pick your side and sauce.
My husband had the duck breast and salad. It looked and smelled quite good. The duck was well cooked. I had the burger with a honey ginger sauce and goat cheese. The burger was yummy and I swooned over the honey ginger sauce. There were even large chunks of fresh ginger! Service was attentive to my allergies.
Prices were quite good. There is a good wine list and a very nice dessert list. I was too full or else I would have ordered the café liégeois (two people at the neighboring table ordered it and it looked tempting).
If back in Cahors, I would return. Nice lunch! read more
