Great! They are good and confident and don't need my review,,,but...here I go anyway! It's small…read morebut very cozy so when I got there...No tables available and they don't take reservations! I left to find something else but tried my luck & coming back. Glad I did! They have wine, but as I was told, beer is their thing. The food was excellent and the staff are colorful and efficient as the flow between tables! I had the meatballs (2 large ones), meals come with a small salad and a side & bread! The beer selection is wide. Mostly Belgium ones. Other tables had what looked like delicious tuna, lasagna and stew which they all seemed to enjoy.

I am so sorry to not rave about this place like everyone else did…read more To start with the positives: -cute, cozy spot inside with a few outdoor tables. No reservations, so you have to wait in line. Luckily, the line moved pretty quickly and we were able to be seated inside. -service was great. The fabulously dressed flamboyant gentleman was kind and helpful. The sassy woman was hilarious! -Portions are pretty decently sized and priced fairly Why three stars? I just didn't enjoy anything that we ordered. Sadly, it was my least favorite meal that we had in Belgium. Based on all the reviews, I think it's clear that it's not the place per se, but what I was looking for. That being said, I still must be honest. What we ordered: Cheddar Croquettes (2 for 14 Euros): Just ok and this was one of the things that I felt was overpriced Carpaccio of Smoked Beef with White Truffle Oil (18 Euros): Again, just ok Meatloaf with "Jack Pepper" sauce (26 Euros): "Jack Pepper" means something different in Brussels. It was basically a peppercorn gravy. I wasn't a fan, but Jim G. enjoyed it. With this, we had frites and a small side salad. I know many people recommend that Flemish Beef Stew, but we already had that at Fin de Siecle, and I couldn't imagine that any place would top it, so we didn't get it here. Ultimately, this place isn't for me, but I seem to be in the minority.

Finally made it here!! Expat and local friends have raved about this place for years and it's been…read moreon my To-Go list pretty early on from when I moved to Brussels, but since this place closes earlier in the evenings, I would always find it hard to get here before closing time, on those weeknights I ventured into the city. It's a bit of push and shove to be honest to get to the counter (no proper lines) but that adds to the sense of accomplishment when you finally get your order in. It's all strictly seafood and I ended up ordering the fish soup (€5 for a really good size) and an order of North Sea shrimp croquettes (€9 for 2, accompanied by salad, lemon and gorgeous Tatar sauce). Oh also don't forget to get your bread if they forget to offer it to you! My brother loved the soup and gulped it down - the tomato stock base was incredibly flavourful but it wasnt too fishy at all! Just hints of that salty sea tang and really good tender pieces of white fish mixed in with veges. Accompanying the soup was a bread with some sort of a mustard sauce and grated cheese, which really complimented the soup. But OMG - those shrimp croquettes!!! Hands down the best I have had in Brussels!! The cheese filling was just marvelous and a proper amount of North Sea gray shrimp mix was in there which added a beautiful texture. I savored every bite and while the croquettes look small, the goodness in them is so much that my tummy was absolute full and I didn't feel the need to order anything else afterwards. It sucks took me so long to finally eat here but hey, on the bright side _I_ finally did get to eat here!! Totally recommend!!

If you're pescatarian, ur in heaven. They have alll the Pesci options. Grilled, fried and raw. From…read moresoups to salads fried calamaris and mini crab burgers. And very affordable. I'm not crazy about the whole standing up and eating thing but it was kind of cool. It's very quickly prepare and whatever ingredients they are using taste amazing. The servers are super helpful if you are overwhelmed. I highly recommend this spot! Don't be scared of standing and eating either! It's not that bad. Haha.
