Within ten minutes of talking to Greg, one of the talented designers at KCB, we knew we found our guy. We met several times to review the design, materials, wood species, cabinet stain, backsplash tile, countertops, flooring, etc. We had a vision that evolved over the many months we worked together and Greg guided us to our finished product with his expertise and knowledge. We ended up using the subcontractors affiliated with KCB and that was a seamless process. We met the nicest workers - Kamal, Achmed, Daniel, Shawn, Martin, Marvin, Adrian. They were all neat, polite, respectful with a top-notch work ethic. The cabinet manufacturer had a few delays but Greg ensured those issues were addressed and kept us in the loop for resolution. I can't thank Greg and his team enough for giving us a showstopper of a kitchen!

You always hear stories about people choosing contractors based on the lowest price--and ending up…read morewith nightmare results. Well, we did exactly that three years ago. What was supposed to be a six-month home addition turned into a two-year ordeal, and we're still dealing with unfinished details. Do yourself a favor: don't shop based on price alone. Focus on quality. Do your research on who you hire, or you'll end up paying far more in the long run--financially and emotionally. This time around, we needed to remodel our kitchen, and we approached things very differently. We interviewed multiple contractors over the course of a year, taking our time to find the right fit. Then we met Emad from Kitchen Cabinets and Beyond--and after a short conversation at his showroom, we knew he was our guy. He was completely transparent and forthcoming--a genuinely honest person. Sometimes you can just tell when you're dealing with someone you can trust. From that moment on, we knew we were in good hands for our kitchen project. What impressed us the most was that the same feeling we had about Emad was reflected in every single member of his crew. Each person who came into our home was professional, respectful, and paid close attention to every detail. The project was completed within the promised timeline. Not only that, they even took on additional work during the process and still delivered on schedule. Thank you again, Emad. We couldn't be happier with the results. We only wish there were more honest and reliable contractors like you out there.

We recently visited this cabinet showroom while planning our kitchen remodel. The sales…read morerepresentatives were friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive. They followed through on their promise and provided our quote within two days, which we appreciated. That said, the showroom itself was under construction during our visit, which made it feel a bit disorganized and difficult to compare the different cabinet styles and finishes. It wasn't the easiest shopping experience because many of the displays were incomplete and door samples were stashed in boxes on the floor. The cabinet displays that were available looked beautiful and appeared to be good quality. However, after comparing quotes from other local cabinet companies, we found their pricing to be on the higher side and not competitive enough for our project. Overall, we had a positive experience with the staff, but we hope the showroom will be easier to browse once construction is complete.

Eric and Antonio provided great recommendations every step of the way, and their crew was always nice and considerate. The project took a little longer than expected due to a missing cabinet issue, but overall it was a great experience with quality workmanship, fair pricing, and a professional team. You would be better off going to tile mile in Anaheim and contracting people yourself. That's where I found my counter people for the first remodel and they were fantastic and counters lasted almost 20 years. My counters now are barely over a year and all the seams look horrible. They pick cheap labor for all the work and that's exactly what you get, however, that's not what you are paying. They definitely overcharge for what you get.

They were more than happy to work with me on turning a big boring linen closet into a beautiful, functional space with drawers and even a small coat closet! I had some ideas of my own but they sent out a designer who not only listened to my ideas but had several suggestions that I hadn't even considered! I enjoyed visiting their beautiful showroom where I was able to see and select materials and fixtures. The project was professionally managed from start to finish, clear communication at every stage and the work was meticulous. On the 1st day of install, one crew dropped off the materials, another handled installation and when they tore out the old fixtures, another team showed up to haul away the debris! Very impressive! Unlike some other remodeling projects, this one was actually FUN! I enjoyed every minute of it and would like to thank the entire Pelican team (Jack, Karina,Chris, Marciano and others who I did not get the names of) for their enthusiasm and great work!

Eventually we chose to sign with Pelican and now that the project is over, we undoubtedly chose correctly. During the design phase, Jack was extremely helpful and had great suggestions on how to refine our design to fit the needs of our space while also being happy to incorporate our ideas. Once construction started, our Project Manager Chris took over and ran everything perfectly. His constant communication and attention to detail trickled down to the construction team. There is no doubt the project was a success largely because of Chris. The various construction team throughout the project were all extremely nice, clean, and considerate. Our primary cabinet installer Mauricio deserves a special call out. His installation and carpentry was perfect. The countertop fabricator, Jose, was also incredible. Overall we could not be more thrilled and can say the project turned out perfect. We would be happy to work with them again on other projects.
