We had a very nice meal here. The woman who runs the front of the house (and who also serves all the guests) was very pleasant and knowledgeable and quite passionate about the food they served. They started us off with a tasty amuse bouche. Then I had a cuttlefish dish which was excellent. My chicken main course was underwhelming - all the vegetables surrounding the chicken were fantastic, but the chicken itself was bland and weirdly presented. But my partner's John Dory fish was divine. My chocolate tart was great, his dessert of the day (a pear crumble) not so much. Wines were very good. Overall, a solid meal, but not a sublime one. read more
