Stopped by La Creme Delight this past Friday because my husband was craving an affogato and he saw the shop offered our favorite coffee from Joffrey's. My husband and I were blown away by how friendly the owner was. He was kind and patient enough to let my boys sample several flavors of gelato and suggested combining flavors when my youngest couldn't decide on a flavor. The quality of the gelato was great and everyone in our family was a fan. My husband ordered an affogato with biscotti gelato (per the owner's helpful suggestion), I picked a cup of lemon cookie, my oldest son selected a cone of banana split and my youngest got a cup of triple chocolate and mint chocolate chip. Upon our departure the owner handed us samples of the mascarpone with fresh peaches and honey. I will 100% be returning to order this flavor!!! The gelato shop offers gluten free, dairy free and vegan options so there is a frozen treat available for everyone! read more

I ended up checking this cute little shop out on a whim when I was looking for an easy location between me and my brother to catch up after life had been lifing especially hard. I saw their menu online, noted bubble waffles and a couple uncommon ice cream flavors, and made a beeline over there. The location is sort of funky. I don't think I've ever been in this plaza for anything before, and this little shop faces 66th/is on the quieter side. The folks running this shop were so nice. I took the lady's suggestion to try the peach mascarpone and it was so good. Light, delicate, creamy, an absolutely wonderful flavor. My brother tried a couple different things and got some trio of dulce de leche, another caramel-y option, and gingerbread. I got mine with a hot bubble waffle. I wasn't sure what I wanted to add to it (it's been a bad week and I tend to eat my feelings...), and jokingly told the gent "whatever he thinks sounds the best as long as it's not chocolate"... He didn't humor me with some sort of surprise ice cream adventure, but I did end up with some caramel, strawberries (that were exceptionally flavorful and ripe), graham cracker crumbs, and some whipped cream. Let's talk about experience and customer service. The gentleman working the counter was very kind and helpful. He offered to let us try multiple flavors and never felt rushed. My wife ordered 3 scoops 3 different flavors, pistachio, strawberry & expresso. (The expresso is sugar free and was delicious) I had the Mascarpone topped with fresh blueberries. Saw the opening sign on our way to the Venezuelan restaurant! The worker there was so incredibly kind and provided excellent service. From what I'm reading this place offer excellent customer service. Unfortunately, It appears I was the unlucky one. On 2/15/2025, i looked at the menu and it stated regular cup (up to 3 flavors). Great I'll just order two flavors, I got the salted caramel and campfire s'more's. I placed my order with the older lady behind the counter. She proceeded to scoop a sample of the salted caramel which I initially decline because I already placed my order and knew what I wanted. However, she demanded I take the sample because she already scoop it. Sure...alright I'll take the sample. Always, when I got my order I imagine two separate scoops into one regular cup just like the pictures I've seen in yelp. Instead I received two separate regular cup order. A regular cup is already $8.49, now I have two orders...great. Basically $17 and tax at this point. I didn't want to be rude and I like supporting non franchise business so it was whatever at this point. The salted caramel tastes fine but you know something called campfire s'more you imagine graham crackers, Hershey chocolate and marshmallows blended into it but not really. I might of tasted a hint of marshmallow or maybe I was imaging it, not sure. When I got home I had this odd feeling and checked my credit card statement and for some reason I was charged $21.75 for my order. I have no idea how I was overcharged that much. I got zero additional topping and just two regular cups. (Which I initially wanted one). I called the same day no one picked up. I sent an email and I haven't heard back in two days. It is what it is at this point. I most likely will not return. I hope they provide better training and I wish them the best of luck. (Response to manager) I was the first caller and at the time no one picked up for me. I did send an email and no response as well. You talked to My brother the second called but he still doesn't how the total was added up. But here I'll make it simple. If you can provide a price breakdown of how I was correctly charged $21.75 for two regular gelato cups I'll delete the review. Regular gelato is $8.49 x 2 = $16.98 x 7% sales tax = $18.17. Your menu show a list of topping for an extra charge of 69 cents each (whip cream and a cherry not mention). Again I didn't get any of the listed topping unless you're charging the same price for the whip cream and cherry but you just stated I wasn't charged for that so please explain the $3.58 discrepancy. Also I don't appreciate you using my brother name on here especially when he doesn't have a yelp account. Also posting our phone numbers even though it's partial. That's not very professional. All I want is the price breakdown and if we're wrong I'll delete the review no biggie. read more

I visited Le Creme Delight on its opening weekend and was extremely impressed. I ordered the banana walnut gelato, which was so delicious that I came back to buy a pint of it later in the week. I also tried the coffee, opting for a caramel latte, and it was amazing! The latte was serious business, I really haven't had a latte that rich and flavorful since l lived in New Orleans. I believe they must grind the beans fresh for each cup. All the ingredients are fresh and of excellent quality. I will certainly be returning and will continue to support this local gem. read more

Came for a post dinner treat :) tried at least 4 flavors the staff was so sweet. Flavors are marked gluten free or vegan etc which is super helpful because I can't eat gluten. Awesome new Gelato shop. As I entered the well lit shop, I was greeted by the friendly staff. Everything about the shop was clean, neat and inviting. They offered for me to sample the flavors, which my kids gladly accepted the offer. Their Gelato is rich, creamy and super tasty. They had so many delicious flavors that it was hard to choose so each of us got two flavors in our cups. The atmosphere was pleasant and upbeat. This place is an awesome find.
