The beer/keg machine was not working, and nothing but foam was coming out - the bartenders were nice and kept apologizing, but the machine never got fixed- needless to say, all the money spent on alcohol went to waste, and they were not willing to go purchase can beer... so all we were offered was cheep $4 wine. The cheese was extremely old - hard as a rock... there was even a bug on one piece. The most disgusting thing was their chocolate fountain! I guess the chocolate had just been left in there from a previous wedding, so when the staff member went to turn it on to melt all the chocolate, we started dipping all the fruit - IT TASTED AWFUL! Come to find out, there were rotted bananas and strawberries at the bottom that had been dropped in at the last wedding - Did the owner offer to replace the chocolate ... OF COURSE NOT! They just took the machine away and from what I've heard, did not offer a refund and said that it was broken because of all the unsupervised kids that were using the machine. This establishment is very unprofessional - you can tell that the people who work here have never been in a wedding business before. The owner was rarely available, which made it extremely difficult to get clear answers when important decisions needed to be made. She had two assistants who were genuinely wonderful and very helpful whenever we spoke with them. However, when it came to bigger questions or final decisions, they often didn't have the authority or information to give us an answer. Because of this, we frequently found ourselves waiting for responses or struggling to get in contact with the owner, which created unnecessary stress during wedding planning. Another issue we experienced was after the event. We accidentally left behind two large pots and an electric pan. While we understand that leaving items behind was our mistake, we were disappointed to learn that they had been thrown away rather than someone reaching out to us first to see if we wanted to retrieve them. The assistants were kind and helpful throughout the process, and we appreciated their efforts. However, the lack of accessible leadership and consistent communication made the overall experience frustrating.

John could not have been more professional, accommodating and helpful as I described what I was looking for and he handled everything so wonderfully and graciously. I was very impressed with the venue upon arrival and the setup was just as beautiful as described to me and super clean! Our reserved space was very spacious with the tables laid out and still room to walk around without bumping into others. We had a buffet setup in the hallway so attendees were also able to view the beautiful artwork displayed along the foyer. Very nice! John also made sure to check on us to ensure all was well. That was nice and I was able to relax without having to run around for last minute fixes. Our time here was worth every penny and I will make sure to reach out to this venue first and recommend others to book their events with John's help. You will not be disappointed.

The one water dispenser was empty until someone asked if they could get some water.

I never once received a return call or email, but just kept checking back on the website for the ability to purchase the passes online. Every time before the season passes for the next year weren't open for purchase yet in October, November or December, although I was just able to purchase them finally. It seems the season pass (about $150/each) is the more economical way to go as it is very expensive for a day pass, over $30 per person. To add insult to injury, they don't allow bringing in outside food or drinks and the refreshment stand is limited and pricey, as well. Despite the price the kids always have a good time and it's a great way to spend a hot West Texas summer day!
