Poutine Du Bureau is excellent.... made with crisp hot french fries that do not get soggy in the poutine!

Poutine, mac n cheese, pâté chinois. Not diet-friendly ;)

Meh. Not sure where to begin. This place is a small Canadian chain, they apparently have a couple restaurants out West, as well as one in Quebec city. I went for lunch so it was definitely casual ; crowd was very diverse. I suppose it's more festive at night! Ambiance is cool, basically the idea of what a restaurant/pub would look like if it were operated by skateboarders. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ordered the poutine (they were out of cheese curds?! So we got shredded cheese instead... Meh.), mac'n'cheese and pâté chinois (Quebecois shepherd's pies). Poutine: fries were pretty alright, gravy was good, and bacon (yay!) was tasty. But it was lukewarm and the cheese just didn't do anything for me. Mac'n'cheese: like a glorified, adult version of Kraft Dinner. It was alright. Pâté chinois: slightly spicy meat, the mix of ingredients was tasty. A good pick, just make sure you eat this one with ketchup, according to local traditions ;) So all in all, cool place to have a couple of drinks and hang out. Prices are honest, food is exactly what you would expect when you're paying 5$ a plate - decent, but nothing to write home about. Go for the good times and the chill vibe instead.

The poutine was delish! (my photo isn't really doing it the justice it deserves!)

everything on the menu is only $5 and the services are good. Try their burgers, its comparable to gourmet burgers but for way cheaper price.

I've never been to a place that said they were full for the night at opening. We were luckily enough to get a spot for the next evening, at opening. Worth it. Everyone was really friendly. Our waitress had the drink menu in her head. Just say what you like. We got the heritage plate. Two types of brisket, a sausage, and two types of ribs. It was perfect. Didn't care too much for the sausage but everything was the most tenderest meats I've ever had, as well as tasty. No steak knife needed, but a butter knife was provided. So much food. And I had to save the rest for later. Definitely this place is on the top of my list for favorite bbqs. The Mac and cheese was interesting. It was good and cheesy. There was even cauliflower in it.

One of the best bbq I've had and I've been to Texas and the south. We got the big rib and St. Louis ribs with sides of asparagus and the miraculous sweet potato. Everything was absolutely delicious. The Big rib was so tender and fell off the bone. It was served in a really good sweet and savory sauce. The St. Louis ribs were also tasty. I've never had asparagus at a bbq place but I was all for it. The asparagus was cooked nicely and had some kind of truffle oil? Yum. The Miraculous sweet potato was also super tasty!! It was like a fancy baked sweet potato. I don't know what was on it but it was so good! We were so full after and didn't have room for dessert but they also sounded so good. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation while you are in Quebec City! You won't regret it.

I ordered the breakfast of eggs, sausage, toast and hashbrowns with a side yogurt. The breakfasts are HUGE so you can easily share with someone else if you're not in the mood to eat a full one yourself. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the toast buttered and fluffy, the hashbrowns were cooked well and seasoned well which is such a bonus as I find sometimes hashbrowns are lacking a lot. The side yogurt was surprisingly the highlight for me! It came with maple syrup, fruit and granola. I absolutely devoured it! The service was great here too, and they came by with drip coffee top up! They know their audience. I would 100% go back here!

Pooh and I loved our drinks but for the price there should have been more alcohol and less ice. Marie wasn't crazy about her drink. For our main meal I ordered their Fried Chicken Salad. Pooh ordered Apollo à la Brasa, and Marie had Lobster Roll with fries and salad. I liked my salad but since it was "fried chicken " I thought the chicken would be hot. It was just warm so the skin wasn't crispy; more loose like sagging skin. Pooh loved his dish but it was a tad salty and greasy. Marie loved everything. Each of us had a Brazilian coffee which was delicious. After we shared an order of their Beignets. The entire menu looked irresistible, but we decided we would order 3 starters and dessert. The special appetizer was a creamy wild mushroom sauté with housemade chicken stock and a foie gras option, which we ordered. We also ordered the scallop appetizer and the charcuterie planche. Every single thing we ate was exquisite. Our host, who was also the server. brought each appetizer out as a course beginning with the scallops. They were delicious (although it would've been nice to have had one or two more scallops on there). The mushroom appetizer could have gone on forever as far as I was concerned. Truthfully, we should have stopped there. I did not realize that the charcuterie planche was really enough for four people. We ended up picking at it, but taking a lot of it home for breakfast the next day. Sadly, we did not leave room for dessert. My boyfriend had a Chardonnay from Ontario, which was sweet but paired nicely with the scallops. I had an orange wine, which I had never had before, but it was the suggestion of the host, and it was really delightful with the charcuterie. Great service, delicious food, sweet, sweet spot.
