Arrived in a clay pot and the beef was so tender and flavorful. Stewed potatoes and carrots were also in the au jus and flavorful too. Wish I had something (other than the bread) to soak it up! + Lasagna Bolognese - Tried a littttle bit of it and it was solid. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + Located in the heart of the Champs-Élysées on Rue Lincoln, so, YES, it is busy like rush hour outside ... and inside. + There are 2 sides to this massive flagship location - you can either make a purchase of macarons at their store OR dine/sit down in their tea house. Both have lines to wait on, but making a purchase only takes about 10 minutes on a weekend, while dining in looks like an unimaginable wait! + The store to make a macaron purchase at has 3 tables to sit around to enjoy your purchase of delicious macarons. You MUST catch someone about to leave (like we did) in order to snag a table. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- = Expect waits on a weekend afternoon, especially to sit down in the tea room. We were led stay from a YouTuber and came here, instead of one that was closer to our hotel. I'm extra salty cause I waited in a long line in the pouring rain thinking my patience would be rewarded, but it wasn't. Staff here seemed very overwhelmed and busy. Maybe they're short staffed. They were rolling their eyes and talking smack out loud about their customers right in front of them with each other. They might be the WORST restaurant service I had in Paris. We both ordered La Formule (26,50€) that sounds like a good deal including a Walnut Salad, 180 gram Sirloin, with the famous sauce and French fries at will. My boyfriend also had a Coke (6,60€) when I asked for a wine recommendation the waiter snapped at me that they're all good and just to pick one. *eyeroll* I got a Les Bonnerues Pinot Noir (9,50€) to pair a nice French red with the sirloin. Once again, I acknowledge the formule sounds good but when it came out the salad was bland. The sirloin was dry and tough. The sauce was interesting. The fries were NOT at will. Also we saw that other entrecotes give you a free refill of the meat, which this restaurant does not do. Had I know I would have ordered a full ribeye instead of this formule. What a disappointment. A waste of a meal in Paris suffering bad service and dry mediocre food. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place.

The vibe was set with a dope playlist of late 90's/early 2000's hip hop and R&B that instantly had me in a good mood. I tried the Litchi Paradise cocktail, swapped in Hendrick's for the Soho, and it was smooth and refreshing. Also had the Pornstar Martini, which they serve with the prosecco on the side so you can pour it yourself, a nice little touch that made it feel extra fun. For a late-night bite, I went with the French fries, and let me just say... highly recommend! Crispy, golden, exactly what you want to snack on with cocktails. I also recommend the Pasta del MAMA which had Aldredo flavor, but not as heavy on the cream. Cute atmosphere, great drinks, and chill music, definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

We sat outdoors but you are still in covered area so you don't feel like the crowds passing is on top of you. Service was just strange I'd say. Not terrible but certainly not great. Like they weren't blatantly bad or rude but they didn't seem very interested and was kind of impatient. Like when the waiter came to the table, he didn't greet us or anything, just went straight to "are you ready to order?". But we also didn't get any drink menus, so we weren't ready, and he just walked away when we didn't start ordering fast enough. Drinks: we ordered the Aperol spritz and passion mojito for cocktails. Everyone else just ordered juices and soda. The spritz was okay, the mojito was much better. Food: we ordered steak and fries, mussels, grilled octopus and mashed potatoes. I had the mussels in cream sauce and the grilled octopus with mashed potatoes. The mussels were lacking flavor and the cream sauce was very watery. If they made the sauce thicker/creamier and just seasoned it a tad more, this mussels would be amazing! The octopus and mashed potatoes on the other hand...superb! The octopus was grilled and seasoned perfectly, but honestly the mashed potatoes were the star! It was whipped and creamy perfection! So much so, my friend ordered just mashed potatoes for her meal after tasting it.
