Steak frites with an amazing pepper sauce.

Amazing genuine French cuisine with many traditional dishes. Impeccable service. Restaurant is busy and buzzing with energy. Prices are a bit on the high side in relation to similar establishments.

Like many other reviewers have said, a good option in this part of the city but maybe not a "must stop" in your trip to Paris. I like that they are open late! I also appreciated their wine list. The menu left a bit to be desired, in my opinion, and my burger was good but not great. I was expecting more of a variety when we landed on this spot for dinner, but alas. The creme brulee was fabulous and the staff here is very "when you're here you're family" vibes. Skip the French Onion soup, don't skip any of the potato options! All are amazing. Enjoy!

I would rate this place as a 3.8. The food is solid - we got the salmon 27€ and the confit du canard 28€. Some of the vinyl booth seating were ripped. The servers were attentive in the beginning but after they bring out the meal it was almost non existant. but I could flag them down if I needed something. Ambiance is like a bar / bistro

J'adore going down as a Paris favorite Very cozy ambiance, service superb, cocktails are incredibly delightful ( I recommend the passion margarita and end with the BEST Irish coffee I've ever had!!) the Niçoise salad is the best I've ever had Arthur and Keko were the perfect example of EXCELLENT service Merci beaucoup

Highly recommend. All food and drinks were amazing. This place was packed. As soon as people left a table, others would be seated immediately. All servers work as a team to make sure all tables are taken care of quickly. I was impressed with the service. The ambiance was dim lighting and very cozy. Only reason I'm giving four stars instead of 5 is the bathroom situation is very cramped. Overall a wonderful experience. Our main server was so friendly and spoke English. Very helpful!!

The most amazing food! This place is open pretty late but we were able to walk in and get a table. The menu is written in French, but the waiters goes through the menu and translates it into English for you. They have a part of the menu that changes and a part that stays the same. When you're seated, they bring amazingly crispy potato chips for you to snack on. We got the escargot (6) to start and the leg of duck. It was so delicious we came back again the next day and the restaurant staff recognized us! The escargot is amazing and we used the bread to dip and get the rest of the sauce. The duck was the best that I had in Paris and the salad and potatoes that came with it was also superb. To finish off the meal, we got a crème brûlée which was cold to my surprise.

Pros: -This was one of the few places that were open late afternoon/early evening -We were seated right away, no wait time -The fried goat cheese balls in my salad were oo la la la! *chef's kiss* Cons: -Not very many vegetarian options at all - except for the salad I ordered. -Service was very slow, but that was expected when only one guy was doing it all. Noteworthy: -The main waiter here (his hair is light and tied in a pony) did everything and was a hard worker; he seated people, cleaned tables, brought our food, and served at the bar.

A glass of red and a delightfully traditional French onion soup

We chose this place because we were doing some shopping nearby and we were able to make last minute reservations. The place was quite busy with a blend of tourist and locals. Mostly tourist though. Friendly service. Food comes out incredibly slow. The French onion soup is very soupy, much thinner than most French onion soups. But the taste was fine. We also had the steak and duck confit. The duck confit with roasted potatoes was quite good. But the steak was bland and chewy like most of the beef I had in France. It came with fries that looked beautiful but actually weren't very crispy and a simple salad. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back.

We were in the area, after museum visits and shopping, and decided to stay nearby for dinner cuz we were hungry. After some surfing, probably Google instead of Yelp, and decided to eat here. Summary: Ok, but not great, not a place you would refer someone to go eat. When we looked inside before stepping in, there were quite a few people. Good sign. When we sat down and paid more attention, turns out most tables are only drinking; no one is eating dinner. Doh! Food: Well, the pictures say it all. I'd say the food was pretty reasonable taste wise. Good, but no wow factor - that's in reference to taste, quantity, plating. No regrets for the food, but not one that I posted pictures anywhere else and was OMG, you (don't) have to eat here. :P Gonna try harder and find another place in the future.

The service was EXCELLENT. The food was very, very good (especially the duck and the potatoes), and the tea was amazing (although I would've preferred English breakfast). And the prices were fair. Would totally go again.

Such a hearty salad! Warm goat cheese was delicious

Found this little gem after leaving the Louvre on a cold windy evening. Delicious, reasonably-priced food and genuinely welcoming service. Really hit the spot for this weary family of 3 boys, mom, and dad.

Charming restaurant but they pack u in a little tight. Seems like this is standard in Paris. Customer Service Julien out waiter was the best. Very attentive and friendly, no rushing. Little language problem but I pointed to menu and he helped me pick my entree. He was great. Assortment of cheese Very good Rigatoni with truffle sauce topped with shaved cheese Did not look like much but the truffle sauce had rich flavor. Veal chop with chanterelle mushrooms and mashed potatoes. Wow never tasted anything like these beautiful flavors. Going to make this dish at home. Brioche French toast with salted butter caramel and ice cream. Too sweet for me but delicious, my honey loved it. Plating Lots of pride here. It was a wonderful lunch, the food memorably delicious, and I had high hopes for L'Entrecôte de Paris when I came across it almost two years later, on an early evening walk along the Champs-Elysées. I was with my mom, my two young sons, and my friend Ava B., who lives in Paris and had treated me to that birthday lunch. We had some inkling that this L'Entrecôte, on a conspicuously touristy block pretty close to Le Relais (only six minutes on foot, I just looked it up) might not be the same as the one we'd so enjoyed. But there was no line and we had to eat, so we decided to walk in. I honestly can't tell, even with time and internet at my disposal, whether this L'Entrecôte is part of the historic family of restaurants that includes Le Relais de l'Entrecôte. That group has its own Wikipedia page and it seems that several branches of the family have struck out on their own, but I can't find this location among them. What is clear is that this restaurant is at best a distant cousin of the one I went to two years ago. It must benefit from the association, as it is quite clearly inferior. The place was cute, at least, even if we were directed to the basement, where no one offered to help us lug our big American stroller. There were mirrors and Frenchy art on the walls, red gingham tablecloths on the tables. The format was the same as at Le Relais de l'Entrecôte. Small menu, very few choices, just the set with salad, steak, and fries. The kids ate dinner rolls and fries and drank water flavored with strawberry syrup. I had a glass of red wine. The salad was okay, out-of-the-bag greens with some pecans and a creamy dressing. The fries were solid, but the steak was pretty bad. It just wasn't good beef, and the house sauce wasn't anything special. Certainly not tasty enough to make up for the meat quality. L'Entrecôte was 100% a tourist trap, and I'm a little ashamed that I fell for it. It wasn't the worst thing to have a quick early dinner with kids, though, without going out of our way. But if you have time to walk and suffer a longer line, I'd recommend getting the real thing on Rue Marbeuf.
