I discovered this place few weeks ago and been addicted to their delicious pastries since than. I don't even know where to start from. Their Ferrero Rocher cake slice is to die for - so, so, sooooo delicious. The texture of their cakes is not comparable to any cake I've had before - even portos, which is really good, doesn't come close to the freshness of LB Cake Stop's cakes. I've already purchased 3 cakes and a lot of pastries, and each one is better than the previous one. My wife loved the beautifully decorated Mother's Day cake I got for her last weekend, my mother loved her chocolate covered jumbo strawberries, kids loooved their push pops, cake pops, cookies and cupcakes. I bought a red velvet cake, a Rafaelo cake and a strawberry shortcake, which had tons of fresh strawberries inside in a very light not so sweet cream. Ihaven't ordered a specialty cake from them yet, but did see how beautiful their custom cakes are on Saturday when I was there to pick up a Mother's Day pre made cake. Let me tell you, their pre made cakes are so pretty, they're like specialty cakes without ordering in advance. I will definitely bring my business back to this shop for all of our occasions or just because sweet cravings. If you haven't tried them yet, stop by without hesitation. This awesome bakery is all Baldwin Park needed. I was very happy to discover it. The people working there are very friendly, they don't save their breath in explaining about each pastry and cake. They are very patient with answering questions. I used to live in Hollywood, where there are many bakeries, and since my move to BP 3 years ago I almost always had to drive to LA to satisfy my sweet tooth or to order my daughter's birthday cakes. Not anymore. I had ordered my baby shower cake from Cake Stop and not only it was delicious, the design came out better than I had expected. All my guests were asking me where I got the cake from. Even though I didn't have your cards to pass out I gave your name to everyone and I am almost positive you have had gained many customers from my party. LB Cake Stop Did my wedding cake few months ago (In January). I have been meaning to give them a 5* here but time didn't allow me to do it sooner. Everyone, and I mean it, EVER SINGLE GUEST of ours loved the cake. Not only it was exactly what I wanted (simple and elegant) it was DELICIOUS. We listened to Liliya's advice, and did the cake only in 1 flavor, their specialty, the Naturally flavored Strawberry Shortcake with Chantilly cream and fresh strawberries. I LOVE this place and have gone back again and again for the past many months for custom cakes. They are so creative and never say NO to any of my ideas, regardless how crazy I get. When my crazy ideas get out of my budget, the owners are always patient and understanding and always suggest and give ideas to fall within my budget. I really love having a custom cake place like LB Cake Stop in BP. Before LB the only bakeries we have had were the grocery stores which no one likes, or we had to drive 1-20 miles out of the city to a decent bakery. Thank you for not only being the best in BP, but for understanding that parties get costly and backing us up with your creative ideas within our budgets. My family loves this bakery. Every time we visit LA we stop by here for some sweets and Smoothies. Their smoothies are so fresh and refreshing and their cakes and pastries make me want to buy everything they showcase. Last Friday we had a get together with family and I got their Ferraro Rocher cake to take with us, everyone looooved it, not even a crumble was left. The sales lady suggested we try it and it was to the point recommendation - thank you Lily. She made us taste their bird milk cake also, and it was just heaven in my mouth. LB Cake Stop is the cake shop with the best tasting and beautiful cakes. For my son's 18th birthday, they made a Snicker's cake for 40 people, and it was out of the world delicious and gorgeous. What we loved about the cake besides how beautiful it was, that it wasn't to sweet like most cakes where they add so much frosting. All the ingredients are natural and the end result is a delicoius light cake. They have an amazing service with so much experience in baking and decorating cakes and it shows. One of our favorite bakeries when we are in the area. Their cannolis are simply delicious and our family favorite. Every time we have a gathering we always pick up their fruit tarts. Our cake was over the top! We had a two tiered specially designed cake for our daughter's 21st birthday. The top tier was red velvet and used for our gathering. They make you set an appt to order a cake and you have to pay $25 dlls before appointment or they won't even let you talk to to them to ask questions. The lady is extremely rude!
