You can actually see the vanilla bean specks throughout the cake, which is always a good sign of real vanilla being used. The flavor was delicious--rich, fragrant, and genuinely hard to stop eating. I happened upon Daisy cakes on instagram and fell in love with her gorgeous designs and creations. We discussed at length how we should do the order and note this order was for 20+ people. We wanted variety and she helped create things that would help with some allergens (no nuts). Needless to say. My pictures do not do this justice. The taste. The presentation. The baked goods were so delicious, I had many coworkers ask for business card info which I happily provided. Everyone was so impressed and so happy despite the sadness of our office closing. Daisy cakes brought some happiness to our little gathering and we are so grateful for her services. People even took some to go for their families to try! There was such plentiful amounts and a little something for everyone. I will be using daisy's services forward for anything. I really appreciate her attention to detail, that she is allergen conscious and she makes gluten free items!!! I was sent a menu to select flavors and told we could pick them up in the next 2 hrs. We sampled chocolate-walnut, campfire, strawberry shortcake, peanut butter, brownie, and snickerdoodle cookies to celebrate my niece's bday. Each cookie is hearty, filled with chocolate/nuts/fruit, individually wrapped, and they were still warm fresh from the oven. The bakery is not a store front, but they're baking and decorating goodies on the premise. The baker included a cookie care card with instructions on caring for the cookies...so creative and helpful. All of the cookies were amazingly delicious, fresh, gooey and filling. Our favorite were the strawberry shortcake, snickerdoodle, and campfire cookies. I would love to try their cakes and other baked goods. Sugar Sisters Bakery we'll be seeing you again!!!

I have to say that everyone loved the flavors I picked out for the cake pops, mini cupcakes, cake shooters and cookies. The flavors that you offered for the main cake went over really well. Per your suggestion, my gold and white plates, platters and napkins went well with your theme. My future daughter in law and her mom were very impressed! The bride to be especially was thrilled about the cake topper. You really outdid yourself, thanks for your patience and advice as I bombarded you with questions. See the attached pics. Wish I could give more, but unfortunately, her communication is what ultimately caused us to stop…read moreusing her. We used her for our children's parties for many years and the work was always great. However, I repeatedly experienced poor communication, last-minute changes, and long periods of silence. I completely understand being busy with your kids or having other commitments, but basic business courtesy is keeping customers updated and confirming details. Several times, our pickup time was changed at the last minute because of her children's cheer schedule. I'm very understanding and accommodating, but if you can't commit to a pickup time, it's better not to promise one. The final time it happened, I expressed my frustration and said I felt it was unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging it or apologizing, she became defensive and blocked me. I was not hostile. I was simply being honest after experiencing the same issue multiple times. This was several years ago, but I'm still surprised to see so many reviews praising the communication because that was absolutely not my experience. My advice: take accountability, communicate with your customers, and be professional.
