I can rave to anyone enough about Sugar Sisters bakery! I have now been an ongoing customer and purchased everything from cookies, birthday cakes, and the mini coffee cake as well. Not one item has disappointed me. If you want high quality, amazing customer service, and the most delicious sweets you will find... This is your place!

Sugar Sisters helped to make my wife's birthday extra special. They are super friendly, easy to work with, and very accommodating. I came in with a vague idea of what I was looking for. They took that idea and went above and beyond. Everyone was very impressed with the cake and my wife said she'd order from there again. Thanks Sugar Sisters!

Sugar Sisters has made cakes and other treats for our family for the last couple of years. They communicate thoroughly with their clients to make sure your inspiration pictures are reflected in their work. They put a lot of heart into their craft and it truly shows.

Custom Winnie the Pooh 4 inch diameter mini-smash cake for daughter's one year birthday

Their customer service is impressive, with prompt responses and competitive pricing. They were able to mastefully create a winnie-the-pooh themed mini-cake for my daughter's first birthday at an incredibly reasonable price that beat out all of their competitors by a mile, and yet the cake itself was extraordinarily beautiful. My only issues was finding the place, and that the large number "1" at the top of the cake was delivered in blue rather than pink as promised, but this was quickly rectified once I pointed it out. I will be using them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Great Tasting Cakes! The Oreo cookies are to die for! Great service was provided Try their cheesecakes!

Coffee cake delicious! I will try Brownie and cookie later. As you can see in the picture, coffee cake almost gone. The flavor, texture and size reminded me of my higher school years. Service is great the two sisters are very nice and welcoming. They have their business somewhere but they were at the Belvedere Park at swap meet. For the coffee cake, cookie and brownie was $16 which I think it was a reasonable price. I really recommend this business

The yin yang bowl gimmick attracted my attention to this ramen place. I never had a ramen bowl…read morewith two flavors before so I had to try it haha. This restaurant is located in a small plaza but parking is plenty and the wait is not long for a Saturday afternoon. There is a boba place inside but the drinks doesn't look that great so we didn't order any. The staffs are very nice and the setup inside is pretty unique. We didn't get to sit inside one of the Hexagon pods or the lantern cage table but its ok. The ramen is actually pretty good. The broth has a deep flavor to it and the ramen itself is not bad. It is not spectacular but I would say slightly above average. We ordered Combo B so it came with a lot of extra stuff. The ramen though cannot be exchanged so I got the Sapporo Miso Ramen while my wife got the Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen. We also ordered the Yakitori Platter. While the Ramen are decent, the other dishes are subpar. I am 99% sure the Yakitori was pre-made and just reheated. It has no char flavor at all. I believe some off site kitchen prepped the food and the restaurant just reheated the food. That was the most disappointing part of the meal. The cost of the Yakitori was equivalent to actual Yakitori places so I expected decent quality Yakitori. I think the popcorn chicken is the same. It has no crunch to it at all and it is barely warm. The two desserts are decent. Those can be prepare ahead and won't affect the flavor since they are served chilled. After the meal, one of the bowls actually won a free drink so we'll claim it when we return next time. Overall the meal was decent. I just won't order the appetizers next time. Normally I would just give a 3 star since the Yakitori was a bust but the staffs are very nice so I kept it at 4 stars. The place is also very clean too so I would like to repeat to try other dishes.

Kyuramen x TBaar brings together a Japanese-inspired ramen restaurant and bubble tea café under one…read moreroof, offering a menu that extends well beyond ramen. We walked into a space that stands out for its modern interior, featuring private wooden booth seating that creates a cozy, semi-private dining experience, the kind of setup that makes the meal feel more intimate than a typical ramen shop. The atmosphere feels contemporary and social, with a clean, thoughtfully designed layout that works well for both casual dinners and group outings, and the attached TBaar makes it easy to finish the meal with a specialty tea or dessert without leaving the restaurant. While ramen is the restaurant's signature, many of the menu's standout dishes are actually found elsewhere. The omurice is one of the most popular items, served with a fluffy egg and rich demi-glace or curry sauce that makes it one of the restaurant's signature comfort dishes, and the presentation, with the egg split open at the table, adds a theatrical element to the meal. Other highlights include yakitori, bao buns, katsu, takoyaki, and appetizers that give the menu plenty of variety. The ramen itself is solid, with options ranging from traditional tonkotsu to the Yin Yang Ramen that lets you sample both spicy and non-spicy broths in one bowl, though the quality of the ramen can feel less memorable than some of the restaurant's other specialties, the broth lacking the depth and complexity that defines a dedicated ramen shop. The attached TBaar also adds another layer to the experience with milk teas, fruit teas, and desserts that pair well with the meal. Matcha tiramisu, Japanese cherry blossom jelly, and other sweets help round out the menu, making it easy to stay for dessert instead of stopping somewhere else afterward, and the drinks are well prepared, with the tea flavors coming through clearly without being overly sweet. The restaurant's design is one of its biggest strengths. The wooden booths provide a semi-private dining experience, and the overall space feels clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, creating an environment that encourages lingering over a meal rather than rushing through it. Service is generally friendly and welcoming, though it can slow down during busier periods as the restaurant fills up, with the team handling the steady flow but sometimes taking longer to check in when the dining room is at capacity. The overall experience remains positive, and the pace of the meal stays comfortable even when the service stretches. Kyuramen x TBaar offers more than just ramen. The inviting atmosphere, diverse menu, and combination of savory dishes, drinks, and desserts make it a well-rounded dining destination. While the ramen may not be the strongest reason to visit compared to some dedicated ramen shops, the omurice, appetizers, desserts, and unique dining experience make it a place worth trying, especially if you are looking for variety rather than focusing on a single dish. The balance of creativity, comfort, and a polished setting makes it a versatile option for a meal that feels more like an experience than a quick stop.

I finally stopped by Warabimochi Kamakura inside the Santa Anita Mall after the madness of the grand opening & wait times. I was the first in line to order which was nice, I ordered their Strawberry Matcha Cloud Latte & to my surprise it did not disappoint! My order came out quick! If you're someone like ME who usually stays away from matcha because it's too earthy, bitter, or has that super powdery taste... then this is the drink for you. The strawberry adds the perfect fruity sweetness while the creamy matcha cloud foam balances everything out, creating a smooth, refreshing drink that's easy to sip from start to finish. What I loved: -Perfect balance of strawberry + matcha -Light, creamy cloud foam -Smooth matcha flavor without being overly earthy -Just the right amount of sweetness This is definitely one I'd order again, especially if you're looking for a matcha that's approachable without sacrificing flavor. Con: ran out so quickly & just wish I had more! :( haha Will be back very soon!

6/7/2026 First time…read moreat Warabimochi Kamakura. WARABIMOCHI 12 PC MIX (2 FLAVORS) 6 PC KINAKO, 6 PC MATCHA The warabimochi is very soft and jiggly. Softer than boba, soft like jello, yet has that chewy, gooey texture. Not my favorite texture, but glad I tried it. I just saw that they had black sesame flavor too, but I was in such a rush, I must have missed it on the menu. Comes with a little bottle of brown sugar syrup, which is rich in brown sugar flavor and quite sweet too. When poured over the warabimochi, it does only taste like the brown sugar syrup. I would recommend that you eat the warabimochi with ice cream. I didn't order any at the store, but ate the ice cream I had at home. Choice of ice cream was Straus Family Creamery's Vanilla Bean. It didn't overpower the warabimochi flavors of the matcha or kinako, it simply added more creaminess and additional texture to the dessert. Also, you can get a firmer texture when you put the warabimochi in the fridge overnight, which I thought was much better and enjoyable to eat. HOJICHA CLOUD Very good hojicha flavor. But mostly it is cream. Hence, the name Cloud. I got it 100% sweetness and I asked for warabimochi pieces added to the drink. They give you a boba straw to drink. Warabimochi was very soft, light chewiness, cut into smaller pieces. The drink was very slightly on the sweeter side, but it's that or 50% sweetness level. There was a lot of ice in it, which means there's less hojicha drink too. Got it in medium size. Small size and medium size cost difference is 0.75 cents. Best to get a medium size. There's also a large size, which is much bigger in comparison to the medium. STRAWBERRY MATCHA CLOUD This had a good matcha and strawberry flavor all around. They also added warabimochi in this drink too. The matcha is a cream top and the rest is strawberries with milk. It tasted good and not overly sweet. This was 100% sweetness. Personally wished there wasn't any warabimochi in it, but it automatically comes with the drink. Did not realize there would be any in it too until after I ordered it. I would reorder the drinks. Maybe order one without warabimochi though. I would try their other drink offerings too. I haven't tried their black sesame warabimochi, so might return to try that one. CUSTOMER SERVICE Good, friendly customer service. Only two people working. Warabimochi came out first, then the drinks. Everything came out in order and quickly. LOCATION Located at Santa Anita Mall. First floor. At the food court. Across from Zumiez and Shoe Palace, Daniel's, Game Stop. Just follow the Food Court sign and you'll find it quicker. It is a stand alone store right in the center of the food court.

I have been going to Moo Moo Mia for a while now and it has been one of my favorite delights when it comes to craft ice cream. They offer monthly flavors along with some more original staples and lets be honest, with summer looming, knowing a great ice cream spot is always a must. There are monthly flavors so I recommend swinging by early in the month to check out what great flavors they have cooked up. At the time of my visit, I was hooked on the Strawberry Koldski which was inspired by the Danish roots and a mix of sweet and tart Strawberry. I got a double and I simply wanted more. My go to, is the Oreo and Cream which is one of the best Cookies and Cream variants I have ever had. Everyone is super nice and you can have tastings of the different flavors until you land on one. Trust me, some flavors hit on different days! The shop is in the famous Monrovia shopping area, which adds to the allure of visiting. Parking is free and sitting and having a cup of ice cream in one of the benches is such a treat. Swing by and chill and enjoy some great ice cream! Cheers!
