My youngest and I visited during its annual Fall Harvest Festival (September 26-October 31), when pumpkins, seasonal treats, and autumn fun take center stage. Seriously, consider taking half a day off to join the celebration of this beautiful season!
On weekends, you can expect extra activities like pig races, animal shows, and horse-drawn wagon rides, along with food and drink vendors to keep everyone fueled up. Of course, more activities also mean bigger crowds, so bring a little patience, consideration for others, and you're sure to have a great time exploring everything this farm has to offer!
Our family has been visiting this farm since my firstborn was a teeny-tiny baby -- nearly two decades of memories! There's something special about a place that grows alongside your family. Spring brings Easter festivities and the tulip garden, which opens around February and stays until the blooms finish their show. Summer means strawberry picking, while fall brings the much-anticipated Harvest Festival, and in winter there are Christmas trees. Throughout the year, you'll also find pick-your-own produce, beautiful flower beds that make lovely photo backdrops, and a small fresh market at the farm entrance.
This farm has a little something for everyone. It's a lovely place for the little ones to explore nature, for couples to enjoy some sweet time together, and for families to make memories season after season. Personally, I especially enjoy picking fresh flowers and bringing home seasonal produce. There's just something satisfying about taking a little piece of the farm home with you!
Come join the fun! For now, it's pumpkin-picking season, so go find that perfect pumpkin for Halloween. While you're at it, snap some cute photos, grab a bite or two to eat, enjoy a cool drink, and soak up the autumn sun.
