She was extremely professional and prepared- she came to my home masked (COVID-19) for the interview/initial set-up and was amazing! We went over pet health, where pet supplies were, what my kitty's habits/likes/dislikes are, if there were any household things like mail or plant watering that needed to be taken care of, contacts in case of emergency, etc. It took a few visits for my kitty to come out to visit with her, but she was very understanding and patient! (Maisie Cat had a very hard life before me.) Now when Elizabeth visits she meets her at the top of the stairs, purring! Elizabeth usually sends me a quick text saying everything is fine on the days she visits and when I arrive home there is a detailed sheet with all kinds of updates. There were a few days when my schedule changed last minute and I texted Elizabeth, asking if she could switch visit dates. She worked with me when she could and was very flexible!

We were driving up from Chicago, we had previous reservations at a boarding facility near home, but decided to bring them along for the car ride and try out Pampered Paws. Wow - so impressed! Hard pressed to find a place even similar to the space and daycare that is offered here versus our handful of places towards the city. Our two dogs were there for 2 nights and slept the entire way home afterwards - you could tell they loved it! The report card stated exactly what we would have figured (one pup being so energetic and the other being ADDICTED to human love haha!). We will be recommending to everyone near and far if they are planning on heading towards the Dells! Looking forward to our next trip that way so Winnie & Wilson can hang with the crew again! I knew from the moment I dropped them off that they would be pampered and basically "baby sat" while I was away. My mind was at ease. The kennels were clean and Jen and Lilly were friendly and knowledgeable. I liked too that the dogs had a way to go in and out to a fenced area when they wanted. I really liked too that Evergreen was not some huge commercial kennel where I had to worry about interactions with other strange dogs while I was away. To the contrary, it was instead this quaint clean friendly place where my dogs would have individual attention and play time as well supervised walks in their beautiful wooded setting. While the setting and property is remote, it's only a few minutes off of I-39 so it is convenient too!

If your dog is social, he/she will be let out in a play group several times daily. If not social, your dog will be outside several times daily in a grassy play area with toys and individual attention away from other dogs. Dogs will be let out one last time at 9pm and then put to bed. Dogs will awake at 7:00am and start the day all over again.

The updates with a photos at each visit are appreciated so I know exactly when they were there and how it went. My cats (both from shelters) can be a bit challenging, and they were fed, freshly watered, given treats, litter cleaned, played with and affectionately petted. They've been able to adapt to new instructions about kitty care between visits. They worked with me a few times about my keys - home security is important! The payment software doesn't allow for tips so I'm not sure what the dog owners are doing or what's expected? Overall, the updates come from people who love what they do, reassurance when I'm away and miss my kitty!

The owners are so good about working with me as our dog has special needs since he's older. I've never met more accommodating owners before.
