Our service was excellent and so attentive. They have many booster and high chairs, and the bathroom had a small changing table. They just started their draft Hofbrau Oktoberfest yesterday, and it was perfect. We ordered the sausage sampler, the meatball appetizer with the red cabbage, and the chicken schnitzel with jagersaus. We would come back for the schnitzel with jagersaus and red cabbage. We went to Germany earlier this year, and this reminded us of some of the great food we had there. Compared to other bier gartens or bars at the same price point, this place really delivers.

Came to Watershed for a Saturday funday and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. I…read moreordered a High Noon, poured it over ice, and after taking a few sips noticed a yellow residue ring inside the glass along with lipstick still left on the rim. Clearly the glass had not been properly cleaned. I brought it to the bartender's attention and while she offered to remake the drink, there was no apology beyond that, no refund offer, and honestly no sense of urgency or concern about serving a dirty glass. By that point, I was completely put off and declined the replacement. I understand mistakes happen, but cleanliness at a bar should be the bare minimum, especially when it comes to drinkware. Unfortunately, this experience ruined the visit for me and I won't be returning.

Okay, I'm giving it five stars, even though I threw my sandwich away after the first bite. There…read morewas mayo in that bite. Communication was a struggle on both ends. I tried to get the man behind the counter to understand that I wanted half a muffaletta, with no mayo. I expressed this in several different ways, because the confused expression on his face indicated that none of it was registering. In the end I gave up and accepted the whole, giant sandwich wheel. It wasn't till I got home that I realized he'd misunderstood more than just the size I was asking for. I can't tell you how much I despise mayonnaise (unless I'm having a BLT, and am thoroughly in charge of the application of the condiment). Why would it even be an option, mayo on a muffaletta? It would be just as ridiculous to have to specify "no ketchup" on one. I don't mean to come off as overly dramatic, here, but that bite was more harmful to me than anything that has ever happened to anyone in the history of humankind. You're probably thinking, "He-LLO . . . Have you seen Schindler's List?" And you may have a point. I sat through that whole film just letting valuable hours pass me right by. But this sandwich thing was even worse. So, after all that bitching, why the five stars, Mike? Because I know it would have been good without the mayonnaise. And because I remember the old Antone's. Not gonna let one assassination attempt ruin that history. I can't go back until I'm completely fluent in Spanish, though. Como se dice "mayo" in espanol?

I received 1 baklava, 2 pasta salads (not ordered), and one macaroni salad. The lack of attention to the order was disappointing. The food: The mufalata is excellent, great flavor and value for the price. The 4 oz salads are too small and all of the pasta salads are bland, so I doubt recommend them. The fruit salad was great and very fresh and tasty. The hummus is lemony, but also gritty, so it depends on your preference on whether you'll enjoy it. The pasta salad is smooth, but tasted great. The cheesecake is meh, and tastes like it is just a basic store bought dessert. The baklava is super sweet, but good value compared to other restaurants. The Greek salad was very fresh and comes with plenty of shredded feta. I'd recommend Paulie's for the sandwiches, potato salad, and fresh salads. The desserts and pasta salads are not worth trying.

I ordered the Tejano Cesar Zepplin and added double chicken, pickled onions and halved tomatoes with a side of tomato, basil soup and it was all so good. I've never had a zeppelin until before now and it's the best way to describe it is that it's the cross between a sandwich and a salad. What it is exactly is a loaf of bread with the inside taken out so that it's like more of a shell and then it is a salad bowl like mixture stuffed in there. I feel like it's the perfect lunch because It's super filling, but also very light, and healthy! What more can you ask for. Wish I could even give this location 6 stars because I came about 40 minutes before close and he gave me 2 bread puddings for free because they were about to close.

The muffuletta was made to order and took less than 5 minutes. It was served warm and was SO GOOD! Layers of meaty, salty goodness accented by the brininess of the pickles and olives. I easily finished half the sandwich for lunch and will likely have the other half for dinner haha. Their whole muffuletta is the priciest sandwich on the menu, but could probably reasonably feed 2. Angelo'z also offers rotating daily sandwich combos-- order the sandwich of the day and get chips and a drink for $10. Chip selection includes Lay's, Zapp's, and Kettle. If you're in a rush, many of their popular sandwiches it seems, are available to be grabbed from the case. The dessert waffles on display caught my attention. As I pointed them out to my wife a male employee or owner pointed out a plate and said, "try the kunafa, it's a Turkish dessert. You must try the kunafa crepe. It's mind blowing." So without hesitation we ordered the kunafa crepe and a lamb gyro! When the crepe came out be explained that the kunafa has cheese on the inside and it covered in a crispy crust drizzled with honey. Then wrapped in a crepe which is drizzled with white chocolate and pistachios! I took one bite of the crepe and knew I would be back soon to get another!! The crepe is perfectly cooked and the crispy cheese filled inside is so light and perfect! Mind blowing was a description of this dessert. Anything you could possibly want is listed on the menu. I recommend looking t it online before coming, just so you can have an idea of what you might want to eat. My dad(96) and I are frequent visitors and we always seem to get the open faced roast beef, which is stacked high and there is always left overs for eating at home the next day. The pickles are a fan favorite for me, and I tend to devour several of them. This visit I decided to try the fried fish sandwich (made with halibut) with onion rings and french fries and my friend, a Houston native who had never been here, went for the Schleppy Joe with onion rings. These sandwiches were stunning and wonderful. I saved half for to go so I could have their classic New York Cheesecake... the best in the city. My niece wanted the chocolatey-est dessert on the menu so our awesome waiter (a very personable and kind guy) recommended a multi-layered chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and we decided to have it a la mode. He asked if we wanted it hot or warm. We ordered it warm and in hindsight we wish we'd ordered it hot but it was still perfect for a chocolate fix. He even brought out a candle for the cake when he found out her birthday was coming up the following week. I also ordered a cheesecake and we shared each other's desserts. Needless to say we had plenty to take home and we thoroughly enjoyed it the following day as well and at a hotter temperature that was perfect with soft serve ice cream.
