It's a good airport terminal. Clean. Well spaced out. LAX is its own beast getting there. But once you're at the terminal, it's good. Big with ton of space to spread out and sit. Tons of places to eat

Got to the gate 1:45 minutes early, breezed through.

I was traveling to Hawaii and LAX was one of my only options, typically try to fly out of Burbank. But I have to say, LAX has really made huge improvements, I was surprised. I had not flown in or out of LAX for years. Inside was very clean, lots of new shopping experiences, food, etc. the line to check in to our gate was short and moved fast, the security line was also very quick. Could have been we were there at 6am, but either way a much better experience than my previous ones. Traffic getting too and leaving LAX is still a bear and why I am leaving this as 4 stars. It is such a pain driving there and driving back, the round about can be difficult as well, but it is mainly the freeways that are the headache. Overall, very happy with my recent experience at LAX and I would consider traveling through there again when I have to, but the traffic still does not make it my first choice, although they have made tons of great improvements to LAX overall. Enjoy!

Fast quick arrival area and good tsa security. Organized and safe, professional and capable staff. Patrons need to pay better attention as many needed to be guided which line to go to.

It had been a while since I last flown out of this terminal as I don't usually fly with Delta. On my most recent trip out to Rome, Italy, I came here to catch a Delta flight out to JFK Airport. I was pretty impressed by all of the renovations that they had done to this terminal! Everything was now modern looking and way more spacious! I definitely wouldn't mind flying through here again in the future!

I am so glad their TSA line was fast and convenient. Nice airport with plenty of support staff to keep the passengers safe. Bathrooms and Delta VIP lounge are readily available throughout the airport. Plenty of restaurants and bars onsite.

Great signage, outstanding security, Delta staff on point and all kiosks were working. Had to arrive at o'dark thirty (0330) for early flight. Please note: this terminal's TSA won't open until 0400. You can check bags but will not go through until then. Was amazed there were so many food and drink options available at that hour, as well as, sundries and gifts. Signage is outstanding, bright, very clean, safe and Delta rocks.

I used to work for TWA airlines back in the 90's and this was our terminal, how times have changed. Delta spent a ton of money on these major upgrades at this terminal and it shows. Going through security is quick and there are more restaurants and shops to choose from compared to decades ago. LAX still needs to wake up and provide a non stop train or express bus lane to DTLA.

We were in our way to Hi and TSA was taking their job way too serious! My bf and I both have TSA pre and I have global entry. We were both "randomly" selected to go through the scanner thing as was about every 3 out of 4 people. On top of that, I was asked to remove my jacket, watch and take my iPad out! My bf was asked to take his shoes off and place his laptop outside and his iPad on a separate bin. From there, his bag also got flagged. There were so many "flagged" bags that the conveyor had stopped. We sat them making an older lady open a tin of cookies that was sealed and was supposed to be a gift only to find out there was nothing wrong with it. My bf got flagged because he had a vape in his bag. They have never flagged his vape before and he travels often. Overall we were there about 30 mins just because of them being a pain.

4/21/2015 - Boarding The Westin Los Angeles Airport Shuttle leaving at 7:55 AM and arrived at the Delta Terminal 2 at 8:03 AM. Thereafter, 1) went through a self-checking kiosk to get a boarding pass; 2) went through a security checkpoint via my Global Entrance ID, which cut down the time by an estimated 30 minutes; 3) exiting the checkpoint at 8:30 AM after my carry-on bag was sorted out for an additional inspection, which took about 8 minutes due to Men's Disposable Cotton Boxer 20pk - No issue at all. Started to walk and enjoy the hallway scene beginning at 8:30 AM. Took a few photos for sharing. Tip: Enjoy the WESTIN CLUB LOUNGE at EVENING APPITISERS last night and BREAKFAS this morning, which is better than DELTA SKY CLUB in my opinion. Watch the video of the Club Lounge at this site for comparison with the SKY CLUB - See the fresh juice I had this morning at the WESTIN CLUB LOUNGE. In summary, boarding the Delta International flight at the Terminal 3 this morning is so smoothly - a 5-atar rating is warrantted! Also, thank Marriott Bonvoy Elite program to let me enjoy the Westin Club Lounge to mitigate the DELTA SKY CLUB I can't visit this morning with a few hot food, parfait, fruits, cuppucino, etc.

We made it to lax airport headed home and there was not a long line but the checkout process was horrible we went through tsa with an hour to spare but by the scanning process was long, slow, and ridiculously unorganized. My grand baby had a simple stroller and it took them 20 minutes to pass it to us. There was 23 of us and they searched each one of our carry one items, by the time we got to plane we had less than 15 minutes to board. Again there was 23 of us but nothing was really taken from our bags but a few necessities that were overlooked but to search each bag was outrageous. LAX get it together

I was waiting for our plane with my family. They were laid down on the floor tired and this guys for all the people that were waiting there we were the only one the he get so close to us. I had to stand up next to my son so he can stop going back & forward passing next to us. I understand he's doing his job but there plenty of spaces to clean no next to my family

This is a matter of fact update and is based on sole experience of my recent visit. Hmmm, where to I begin? OK, my story will begin at my experience of checking into a departing flight out of LAX, Terminal 4, the terminal for American Airlines. Preface also by saying the terminal is under massive renovation and has been for some time and when will they complete it? Who knows? OK- Now Pay clear attention- I get dropped off on LEVEL 2 which is the departing level for all flights. My boarding pass is on my phone so I need not stop at the check in counters. I tried, TRIED to be smart and follow the signs as I weave my way through the terminal to get to the departing gates This starts my journey! 1- Signs take me from LEVEL 2 to LEVEL 4 where the TSA check in sites are albeit Pre Check, Regular, Clear and the like. Keep in mind this is just through the security where they check your identification 2- Once past the TSA check in lines you then take the escalators or elevators back DOWN to LEVEL 3 where you then go through the screen machines. 3- once past the screening machines you take the escalator or elevators BACK DOWN to LEVEL 1 (Level 1 is street leve, the place where you normally pick up your luggage on arrival then go out to curbside) NOW I AM CONFUSED. I'M TRYING TO DEPART AND I'M AT THE ARRIVAL STATION???? I look around for signs and there is none. I so I decide to be like a LEMMING and follow the other walkers.... You walk through the tunnels going back in towards the gates and there is counter foot traffic with the arriving passengers. What a mess! Once you get to the end of the tunnel, you will take the escalator or elevator UP to LEVEL 2, the walk to the next bank of escalator and take it UP to LEVEL 3... WAIT Not done yet!!! Then take the escalator UP to LEVEL 4 where the gates are! Did you follow all of this? Do you need a map? Footnote-it was 3643 steps (Yup, counted) ok my watch counted the number of steps it took from the point of getting dropped off at curbside then situated at my departing gate... Good luck American Fliers

I used to arrive at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport), but in stopped because Hawaiian Airlines got moved over to Tom Bradley Airport (International Flights) instead of being at Terminal 5. I strongly disliked dragging my luggage from Tom Bradley Airport to Terminal 5 where the rental car shuttles were. I tried Long Beach Airport, but they close early and so do the Rental Car Companies... then I get stuck without a rental car if my flight is delayed. I switched to Ontario International Airport, but this time, I needed a red eye flight which LAX had because of the merger with Alaska Airlines. It's complex, but there are some benefits (such as more flight chouces) to switching back to LAX. I'm super happy that we landed at Terminal 6. Why? 1. The rental car shuttles stop here! 2. There are several restrooms between the gate and Baggage Claim 3. Directional signs are clear and numerous 4. The environment is modern, bright, spacious, and clean.
