I was quite surprised how bright and spacious this plaza is. I stopped by about ten years ago, and it wasn't anything to write home about! I wanted to see if the "Structube" at this location had better inventory, and shop at Dollarama, Canadian Tire, and HomeSense. The aisles are very wide, so plenty of room for social distancing! There is also a food court, but we arrived early, and it wasn't open. Each time I drove by, the parking lot looked like a zoo, but since we arrived right at 10 am, there were plenty of parking spots! Lawrence Square is a good place to run some errands or grab a coffee. I was here for some work, however had an opportunity to walk around the mall and see what there is to offer. There's a large fortinos with a very tasty looking bakery, a small food court and a good range of your general and some eclectic looking shops to check out. Whilst it's small, there's a few shops to check out that'll serve everyone's interests. There's also a huge petsmart for all the needs of your furry friends as well! read more

The mall is in the process of renovation/gentrification. Right now they have both your everyday budget stores and some higher end ones available. Food court seems much cleaner now. Pita Pavilion which was my favourite choice did not renew their lease and moved out of the mall. It was replaced by a more expensive sharwama place. There is nothing that particularly interests me in this mall but I do like the variety of stores (Fortinos, Canadian Tire, Marshall and Homesense) every time I visit. read more

I recently saw that this mall was in the news and not for the right reasons. I'll get this out of the way at the beginning of my review, I don't like this mall. The first time I visited this mall was when I was first dating my wife. She needed to come to the Canadian Tire to buy something and wanted me to drive her there. First impression was not good. It's really close to the Lawrence West subway station. Busy area and a bit sketchy. There are parking but when its busy, the parking lot can be quite of an adventure. What I saw in the news validate my feelings even more. I came back to this mall again to visit Service Canada last week. My wife and daughter needed to renew their passports. It's a fairly large size Service Canada and the service is good but there's a waiting period to take into consideration. The other location is in Yonge and Sheppard and the waiting time is even longer so that wasn't an option. This mall has 3 anchor stores: Canadian Tire, Homesense/Marshalls and Fortinos. I find the Canadian Tire a disaster. Disorganized aisles and bad layout. The Homesense and Fortinos are much better. There's a Tim Horton and McDonald's. However, there are a lot of empty retail stores inside the mall. I can see coming to this mall again for the Service Canada so I guess I have to suck it up. At least I can remind my wife how much I love her that I ended up marrying her even after taking me to this mall. #8 of 2018 read more

This is an interesting place. Most of the stores in here are independent and it really seems to be an Independent mall full of family businesses. A good example of this is the food court, I haven't seen many of these places before (except the MacDonalds). The only sketchy thing is the pet shop, which may be the saddest one in Toronto. Next time you are here do the animals there a favour and buy one of them. read more

This is how Lawrence Square should be. It should be renovated as soon as possible. I am very impressed with the renovations and the new glass doors are also a bonus. I enjoy walking the whole length of the mall to see Marshalls, Homesense, and the new Structube. I don't like the sandwiches they make at the Fortinos cafe. They give you a slice tomato with the core in it. You have to spit it out. Disgusting. But the rest of the mall is slowly becoming gentrified in the new Lawrence Heights. I don't like everything in this mall, but at least you can see some floor to ceiling views from end to end. It's a great location next to the Lawrence West subway station. read more

Nice quiet mall. Has all the essentials- Fortinos, Marshalls, Home Sense, Tim Hortons, some pet supply store, phone places, and, Canadian Tire. Theres a food court too, but its kinda grungy looking so I've never ate there. The parking lot gets kinda crazy, but at least you can always find a spot. read more

I've whiled away many hours in this mall. Mostly against my will. My dentist is there and my gym too. I get my car serviced at the Canadian Tire auto shop. If you are stranded here, here are some ways to entertain yourself. -There is a little pet store (free zoo) on the first floor near the Zellers. Sometimes they have cute bunnies. -Si Vous Play sports (see my review) has some real shoe and T-shirt bargains - The Ardene outlet sells fun, discounted tacky jewelery and accessories - This mall wins the award for messiest, most disorganized Zellers I have seen. Marvel at it's crappiness. -Canada Employment Centre -The Medical school has it's curtains open once, and I saw such a realistic mannequin in the bed that made me scream. read more

I am only writing this review because I work in the area and am at this mall all the time for the gym, Tim Horton's, errands and coming back to the office with another hilarious mall story. What is this place? The Canadian Tire is understaffed and the ones that do work there are impossible to find. The Zellers is so ghetto and the food court is frightening. At least 1/4 of the stores are always closed with a new one is opening soon. The only good things are: -The Dollarama that is opening up this summer (I work with kids, so this is amazing) -The Fortino's grocery store. It's actually really big and has been renovated, and includes a pharmacy, large kosher section (shout out to my people), a Wine Rack and a little cafe in the front (with some seriously interesting people sitting there all day long) -The gym -And I can't think of anything else I would never hang out there after dark. There seem to be more hired security there lately, as there have been incidents, but it's a fine, fine, Ghetto Mall to visit by day if Yorkdale isn't good enough for you. read more

Normally Toronto malls underwhelm me but Lawrence Square is pretty decent. Has a good sized food court and plenty of seating area. It also has all the basic shops you would expect in a smaller sized mall - Canadian Tire, Fortinos groceries, Marshalls, a Gym and etc etc. And for once ample parking so can can always park relatively close to whichever entry you choose. The only store I dont like is the Pet store. They got rid of one and brought a bigger one. "Pet Prisons" should be banned. Google PETA. For the food court, recommended is the Bubble Tea place, Asian Food in the middle. read more

Take it for what it is. Some of the reviews on here are trying to compare to yorkdale.... The food court is great! Have a good selection of many cuisines. The dollarama here is huge and has a good selection. This mall allows me to run my errands pretty quickly which I am thankful for. The new marshalls addition is nice and rarely busy! I can do grocery shopping at fortinos, go to the gym and get my nails done all in the same mall. Pretty convenient if you ask me. read more

This mall has a pretty good variety of stores and services that I use: Canadian Tire, Dollarama, Fortinos, Island Inkjet, plus a food court. That being said, it's kind of sketchy. It's sort of like what suburban malls in Toronto were like in the late 80s. Out of date looking, a little run down, full of sketchy characters and stores you've never heard of. Plus, the parking lot is a bit of a nightmare. But hey. They have a Bouclair! read more

They just got a Gym which hopefully it means it will improve. Could do with better selection of shops... Great location. This place lands on my top 3 malls on the dufferin street area. It a a fine mall with some great stuff like fortinos Canadian tire. The food court feels and looks disguising. I dont come her often as much i just dont like this mall at all. read more

If you come here expecting Yorkdale, yes you will be disappointed. As someone who lives in the 'hood I come here quite often as it has everything I need in one spot. The food court looks kind of dingy, but the food at Pita Pavillion is super cheap and really tasty! read more

This sure isn't a York Dale. But it sure is close! Well...No not really...Its a small quaint little mall situated near the Allen and Lawrence. Its really doesn't have too many stores, but enough to keep you entertained for quite a while. Check it out, cool little stores inside...And the remnants of the old Zellers that use to be here as well. read more

this mall is not very busy, and few store selection. be aware they ticket you if park beyond the time (three hours) or cross the street to buy other things even if you were also shopping in the mall. read more

Lol this place is interesting... Zellers is long gone and the feel of the mall has... changed?? It's not a fancy mall by any means. It feels more like a place locals in the area drop by for groceries (Fortinos) ... fishing equipment (Can Tire) .. or perhaps a quick bite for those who work in/around the area (some decent mom & pop restaurants in there... Thai place is one of em for example) Kinda reminds me of Sheridan Mall.. Just a simple local spot for people in the community to shop, socialize and eat :) read more

There are a few stores that we can recognize like McDonald's or Dollarama Canadian tire and if you government Places inside. If you're shopping for something nice and expensive not at this place.
