So many tiny little other enclosed booths inside that are hardly worthy of being called stores. It was like looking at a strangely ruined version of a cross between a Pacific Mall kind of setup and an abandoned shell of a mall in Buffalo, but with few patrons. Not at all bustling, practically depressing. The whole interior is badly deteriorating. The floors are faded and worn, the glass windows are cluttered and dingy. We went into the Ardene for a gift shopping run and it's pretty much the highlight of this mall. Would not bother coming back if I can avoid it.

Well, it's across the street from my dentist, who is the best dentist ever, and I have followed him all across town from since the time when he was at Bathurst and Bloor almost 2 decades ago. And even now that I live in Ottawa, I still see my dentist in Toronto and make a whole road trip out of it, but I digress. I never know what traffic is like in Toronto so sometimes I arrive for my appointment way too early and so I head across the street to the mall. Every time I'm there, I ask myself what am I doing here? This is not a shopping destination. I have never purchased anything there. If you live in the area I'm sure it's functional enough - there is a Walmart there, but I would never make a special trip just to go there. Even the Winners, which is one of my favourite stores, is not that good there. The food court has independent stores as opposed to chains although they have chains too. And the layout is interesting, the food court stalls are in a cluster at the centre and the seats are all around the perimeter. This Mall is in serious need of revitalization in my opinion.

Throw in a mix bag of designer stores for clothing, furniture etc. and you got yourself a place that was visited by the moi once in a while. Fast forward a few years the name has changed and now you have what I think a much brighter space, a decent food hall, a high end gym and an event and pop up space. Living in this area I enjoy my visits here to get last min stuff and now a post office in the Rexall. The designer stores are more of the same IMO (I think there are mostly owned by the same company) as alas the Jacadi location has closed. I luv the pop up spots (laduree' at the time of this review) and the event space up front complete with Jacked up coffee van. The Whole Foods is still here and now I feel somewhat more reasonable what they sell. I think this is decent spots to visit to run your errands or stores that are found here.

Had a very bad experience while shopping there. A few minutes after I parked, the security person…read more(signed ticket as GS, unit W08). while I was still in my car on my way to A&W. He then told me aggressively that I cannot park there and pull the ticket from my hand saying he has to take a picture. Another driver had a similar interaction and observed him saying "give me the ticket or I will lock you in". When I informed him that he should not threaten people like that (as it is harassment), he told us aggressively to leave his parking lot. We were greeted cheerfully that made us feel very welcomed and optimistic about our experience at Fendi. Aaron was such a help in the whole experience! Kudos to Aaron who was very passionate about Fendi and fashion/clothing in general! We connected from the get go! We ended up buying a belt and a pair of shoes only because Aaron was so amazing!!
