Home Depot was useless but a customer who overheard me made some suggestions: 1) Don't buy anything from Ryobi again. 2) Take the mower to Idaho Tool &Equiptment. So, I took the mower in and was told they aren't a certified Ryobi Dealer, but they do work on the brand. The nice gentleman said they've gone through a lot of Ryobi servicing for the same issue that I had. "4-6" weeks is what he said to fix it. It took 2.5 weeks!!! The service dept left me a message that I could pick it up. NO CHARGE!!!!! It seems the warranty from the manufacturer was still valid. I had no clue. They could have charged me hundreds and I would have paid it. The people who work here are friendly, knowledgeable and HONEST!!!! They have me for life! I'll probably pay a little more for hardware, tools etc, but people who own small family businesses should be supported, ESPECIALLY when their customers are local and sick of supporting mammoth-sized monopolies who couldn't give a rats ass about customer service or satisfaction!!! Kudos to the owner of Idaho Tool & Equipment. The below rating is 10 STARS-NOT 5, but Yelp limits the amount of satisfaction one can express.

This place is a Milwaukee Tool authorized repair service center. I took my 10 month old drill in to…read morehave them fix it. They told me it would take 5 days. Three weeks later, they finally have it "ready" for me. The fixed it half assed. Left two screws out of the drill and in the case. I put them back in myself. Drill had multiple problems, they fixed one, and didn't test it for more apparently. I left with it, thinking it was fixed. Two days later, I took it back again, they said it would be another week, so at their suggesttion, I took the drill with me and was told I would be called when the part arrived. Three weeks goes by, and I called them to see if the part had arrived. The guy, Larry, tells me that for some reason, Milwaukee "didn't get the order". So then he says he re-ordered it. An hour later he calls me back. He says the part is unavailable and he can't fix my drill. That's when I let let Larry know how I felt about his business. So, after being dicked around by these guys for almost a month and a half, I send the drill to Milwaukee in Anaheim. They have it back to me in less than two weeks, working perfectly, and they paid the shipping both ways. SCREW KC SUPPLY!!! They're rude, incompetent, lying a-holes. I would never spend one penny in there, ever.

My experience with tractors is a push mower, so this was a big step up for me and I was nervous in making this big of a purchase. On my 1st visit I met the owner's son who came out of the shop and showed me a few tractors. After that I had time to research the TYM brand and found so many great reviews online. Still wanted to speak with Scott (owner) though. Set up a meeting with Scott to stop back out there and brought my buddy who had recommended J & J. Scott was incredible! He really knows his product and is absolutely committed to his business and his customers. We sat down and talked and he listened to what I was trying to accomplish. He then gave me a breakdown of what would work best for me and my goals. He also gave me a complete tour of his business. I was really impressed with his shop. If something happens to my tractor I need the confidence it will be taken care of in a timely manner. I was sold. Scott and his son personally delivered my tractor and then Scott spent the next two hours showing me how to operate my new tractor. I have been impressed with my tractor, love my purchase (just purchased another attachment), and would highly recommend Scott and J & J to anyone. Not a single word of English anywhere! J&J was the only place that even knew what it was and had worked on them before. They were in constant contact while working on my tractor. They would advise me what they found and we would figure out the best course of action for maintenance or repairs. When I picked it up, the mechanic came out and walked me through everything personally. He even took a Sharpie and marked each lever & switch so I knew what they all did. I cannot say enough good things about these people. They asked me if I made my living from the tractor and said they would make it a priority if I did. They are Veteran friendly and have a cool shop dog!

When we asked to speak with Spencer he was not there so another man from the back room came out. He was very rude and told us to get our stuff online and save them the trouble. They had the item we wanted in stock. So they apparently don't want to do sales out of the building in Boise. We have never dealt with anyone in customer service like that before. Worst experience in our 60 plus years. Think twice before you spend your hard earned money in that place.
