Sometimes the employees are nice but sometimes the cashiers could care less if you buy anything there. Tried to buy garlic and it was way over priced and the cashier seemed anoyed that I asked her what it cost twice before I would buy it. I asked for garden straw which they sell and she looked at me like I was an idiot for asking for it. Anyway apparently they won't have any until spring. Sure that was made up. I do like the wildology dog food so I will still go there but it won't be enjoyable to go there. read more

I have a new home and had fallen in love with the NORWAY weeping spruce I had seen a couple days earlier. I paid for the one I wanted after a young man took off the tag for me. I couldn't reach it. The young man went to get the tree. He came back and said he couldn't move it. He called for help and three more young men came over to discuss the problem. I realized I couldn't get it out of my car and had no way to plant it. Then i reealized it wouldn't fit in my Highlander. I was so disappointed. One of the young men asked if I was in a hurry. I said no. On Saturday after they got off work, three young men showed up at my house with the tree. They planted it! They were awesome and refused payment. Thanks guys! My husband and I often shop here and we have found on a couple of visits their staff can be quite rude. With garden season at it's peak you would think we could use their exterior garden doors like their staff does but gal with pink overalls told us rudely we can use the exit. She rudely pointed out the sign but arrogantly told us she can use it because she is an employee. There are better ways of letting customers know but I guess kind customer service is not a priority. read more

Great service! Clean, organized store. One thing I would recommend though, is making the aisles big enough for carts. I would usually leave my cart in the main aisle while perusing the clothes but I had my babies with me, so I got stuck a few times and just gave up on going through the tight areas. A dark haired woman was very friendly to us and helped us with a few questions and she was very sweet to my kids, which I honestly don't find much here in Nampa in ANY store. It was really nice to finally have someone go out of their way to smile and talk to them. (MOMS REALLY APPRECIATE THIS BTW- it's stressful enough taking your little ones out shopping! Two stars for Rosa! For turning my frown upside down after Bethany the first employee made my shopping experience not the best when usually this location has people up front helping people with a smile and put their customers first. But Bethany decided to go smoke outside after Rosa telling her she couldn't and shouldn't. And her response was "watch me" then when telling Rosa I had a return and was purchasing more things. Rosa then asked me if I had a receipt for my return. I replied yes I do I left it with Bethany. But I could see she chose to go to "break" or go outside to smoke without communicating with you that I had a return after her telling to go with Rosa and that she could help me...do they not train the cashiers to communicate with your co workers?? If your are stepping out to go smoke? Or vape outside? Unprofessional of Bethany when like I said I usually have no issues at this location. People are always really helpful and nice. But Bethany should be re-trained or spoken to. To try to put customers first. But Rosa thank you for helping me with my return and ringing me up for more items. Db supply in NAMPA idaho never has chicken feed ! I can go to Kuna and they always have what I want ! Will not shop at NAMPA store again ! Cashiers in Kuna are a lot nicer too ! I even wanted higher priced but they had no chicken feed ! That's crazy ! I'm sure they are sending everything to Caldwell store have been in there but bought nothing ! Hundred and fifty dollars for a pair of jeans is ridiculous! Caldwell store is bigger but just has more clothes nothing else ! This review was for their baby chick sale they had, I'm just now getting around to writing it. The products I purchased were satisfactory quality, four weeks later the chicks are still alive and healthy, however the in-store customer service leaves something to be desired. I stopped someone to ask a couple questions and she acted like I was massively inconvienencing her and was talking over me and rushing me. Then, at check out, the lady working made me lift and rearrange all the heavy items in my cart because she couldn't manage it. And I mean every item. Then, she couldn't find the barcode in her stack of papers she had to scan for the discounts "haha you're the first one!" she said. but she spent forever reading each paper to see if it was for the items I had. After several minutes of this, I was completely annoyed and asked her to get a manager l, who likely would have faster reading skills and may know where the item she was looking for was actually located. THE WOMAN SAID NO! She told me she needed to look so she could find it easier next time so SHE WOULD NOT GET A MANAGER FOR ME. I very nearly walked out, I was so frustrated. Then she pulled this whole "poor me, I have a mean customer, shrinking flower routine" once I was visibly annoyed. I worked retail most of my life and I just hate that crap. Then, once she FINALLY found what she needed and I paid she asked me if I needed help out to the car. I told her if I could manage to move all the heavy items around in my cart for her, I could manage getting them into my car. Cue more shrinking flower. And scene. The customer service at the Nampa location is pretty much always terrible, but the products are pretty good. read more

My husband and I were returning a pair of boots at the Nampa Idaho store. The old cashier with orange hair that did the return was so snarky and rude! When she removed the alarm from the boots we wanted the tack fell into the box and while she was putting info into the system I thought I would help out and remove it from the box. She looked at me with a nasty look and says to me I was going to get that! I was taken aback and said oh I'm sorry. When we left she looks at my husband and says loudly "thank you sir". Little did she know I purchased the damn boots in first place. I can't believe D&B allows their employees to treat guests in this manner. Whatever, D&B I will let my clients know how rude your employees are and I definitely won't be back at this red neck store. read more
