Owned pushers for 20 yrs so very familiar with service centers across the western US and Canada. This bus is new to me and my first experience with the service center. Was able to get an appointment ASAP with no issues. Easy access in and out (important when driving these things!) The shop has the be the cleanest there is and the waiting area looks like Macy's with everything thing a dedicated CAT owner might dream of! The parts counter is clear un cluttered and the guys could not be more friendly and helpful. Not only help you but also the cashier (nice touch). My service tech found me in the waiting room and took me out to the bus. He politely hooked in and stayed on it for about an hour until it was dialed in and all the controls were adjusted to my preferences! Answered all my questions and had me on my way. I was able to get pricing on services such as oil changes and found them to be 30% less then the best prices I had found! I'll be coming back here for a long time!

Home Depot was useless but a customer who overheard me made some suggestions: 1) Don't buy anything from Ryobi again. 2) Take the mower to Idaho Tool &Equiptment. So, I took the mower in and was told they aren't a certified Ryobi Dealer, but they do work on the brand. The nice gentleman said they've gone through a lot of Ryobi servicing for the same issue that I had. "4-6" weeks is what he said to fix it. It took 2.5 weeks!!! The service dept left me a message that I could pick it up. NO CHARGE!!!!! It seems the warranty from the manufacturer was still valid. I had no clue. They could have charged me hundreds and I would have paid it. The people who work here are friendly, knowledgeable and HONEST!!!! They have me for life! I'll probably pay a little more for hardware, tools etc, but people who own small family businesses should be supported, ESPECIALLY when their customers are local and sick of supporting mammoth-sized monopolies who couldn't give a rats ass about customer service or satisfaction!!! Kudos to the owner of Idaho Tool & Equipment. The below rating is 10 STARS-NOT 5, but Yelp limits the amount of satisfaction one can express.

GREAT PRODUCT DISPLAYS They have many of the options displayed in big format installs on walls in the showroom or on the walkways outside the building. This makes it much easier to evaluate the fit of product for your home than using a small sample board as is what is available in some other sellers. This was our fourth custom home project but the first in Idaho and in other venues we used real, full dimension stone for exteriors house trims and inside for fireplaces too.. We found in this area manufactured stone veneers were "the thing" but we wanted the look of real stone. Full dimension stone was cost prohibitive here and in doing our research, we found Rocky Mountain Supply. Through the crew there we had a chance to not only learn about real stone veneer but they also carried the one we wanted. HELPFUL STAFF Although I'm sure the staff here work mostly with the masonry and hardscape trades, the nice and expert men were ultra helpful to my husband and me when we were looking for the "just right" real stone veneers to use on our new home build and were getting zero assistance from our builder in that regard. (Here's a tip. If building in this area, we recommend avoiding Tradewinds Construction.) The staff was also able to advise us on the kinds of questions we should be asking the builder and mason for installation ins and outs using this particular 'new to us' material. FOLLOWED THROUGH If we were building again in the Treasure Valley, Rocky Mountain Supply is a supplier we would use again. They were easy for us to work with, they were easy for mason to work with and they had the product he needed available when he needed it. We recommend Rocky Mountain. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: Small private lot. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Although they have no marked accessible (aka ADA required) parking, there is a ramped up, paver surface to the door and the store is on one level throughout.
