Our experience with Terry and Green Earth Lawn Care was exceptional. Terry and I conversed over…read moreemail, where I explained our 2 attempts at installing a lawn in our small front yard. He stopped and took a look at the yard while we were at work one day and then called to give us some ideas and discuss plans. He mentioned continuing a short retaining wall would really help any potential planting, whether grass or some other plant material. We decided to go ahead with continuing the wall and then worked with Terry to get quotes and set a date. We received quotes, for both installation and maintenance plans, via email. After we accepted the quote, we set up a date. Terry was prompt and kept in contact via phone during the day while I was at work. He and his men were professional and did an excellent job. They added compost and topsoil, then seeded the lawn and covered it with hay. At the end of the day everything was cleaned up, too. We were given explicit direction for watering and within the promised two weeks we had a lawn that was starting to look beautiful. Now, months later, we have a lush front yard with great curb appeal. Having tried to install the lawn ourselves and failing twice, it was worth every penny. I do think the prices were reasonable and we did get a quote for sod, but the seed was much less and you would think our lawn was sod looking at it now. I would highly recommend Terry for lawn installation or maintenance.

Absolutely poor communication + poor service - do not use…read more I contacted Agape to do some aeration for reseeding this fall for a small lawn front and back. Their communication was slow to respond and often kept trying to up-sell me on doing a sod installation for thousands of dollars. I typically reseed myself and hire someone to do the aeration. I was going to treat myself this year and have someone reseed for me after aeration. I specifically asked for a scalp mow prior to aeration in my correspondence with them. I was quoted a higher price than most folks off of Nextdoor by a couple hundred dollars but figured I'd give them a try since their reviews were pretty solid. Aeration and scalp mowing is usually around $150-$200 for most smaller yards as the current going rate. They listed their aeration as "double aeration" (it wasn't). Once they came out their crew did not scalp mow ( which means they are laying seed to compete with what's already on the ground) the only aerated half the spots that I was quoted for. I had to visually scour the yard to see any seed that had been applied. A truly poor execution for the price. I spent the entire weekend going back over their work and putting down seed and fertilizer and covering the seed with pete moss. They also had listed putting down starter fertilizer and straw on bare patches in their quote, but they didn't do either. It appears anything that was put down was by hand and not using a spreader for any of the seeding. I was truly shocked that their level of quality and what it was billed for at twice the going rate, and worse than the people I've used off Nextdoor. an absolutely terrible level of service. I will not being using them again.

Had a scheduled appointment and not only did they not show up they didn't even call. I would not…read morework with this company,

Working with this guy and his "team" was nothing short of an amateurish disappointment. Meeting in…read moreJune, 2024, the plan was to order 3 pallets of tall fescue sod, which he and his "team" would install for $3000. Not knowing anything about sod or the process, I trusted his judgement. July 12th, he brought 2 pallets of half-dead sod, which he assured me "just needed watering". He tried to charge me $400 for the 3rd pallet (that I already paid for), but after confronting him, he backed off and brought the 3rd pallet a few days later. They lazily laid the sod, applied fertilizer & fungicide, & went on their way. Even with watering 3x a day, the sod died in a month.... He contacts me in September, offering to aerate and overseed my lawn. I found that to be odd, considering my yard SHOULDNT need those services if his sod service was successful. Its as if he knew the half-dead sod he brought wouldn't stand a chance of survival and wanted to way to reach in my pockets again. I told him I wouldnt be using his services anymore, citing my dissatisfaction with his service. This prompted him to pay me an unannounced visit on Sept 12. He walked through the yard, checking his "work" to see my claims were valid. He texts me later that evening, offering to replace the sod in October as a "Christmas gift from Danny's Lawn Care"... Its safe to say, that day never came, and I never heard from him again. Expecting him to turn tail and run, I just decided to purchase some more sod from a reputable company and lay it myself, which I must say, looks amazing! Im proud to know that I did a better job than the "pro"... And in doing the work, it was made hilariously clear of all the short cuts Danny & his "team" took to do this job. In short; From start to finish, Danny just saw me as a quick pay day and tried multiple times to reach in my pockets. He charged me top dollar to then bring discounted, half-dead sod that he and his "team" would lazily lay, hoping to spin the block in a couple month for another quick pay day...
