Kevin was very professional. The salon itself was clean and everyone was nice. However, I am convinced that nobody in Greenville knows what they are doing when it comes to nail service. Two of my nails are crooked. One of my nails has wayyy too much gel on the top to the point it is lumpy. I shouldnt leave with polish on my skin and Im not sure why super glue on gel nails was used, which concludes me to just have these removed, and wear my natural nail until I return home. read more

I brought my daughter in on the morning of 7/3...we were celebrating her 25th birthday with mani/pedis. She is paralyzed and uses a power wheelchair and her left arm is paralyzed causing it to contract. Mani/pedis don't happen easy for her, but she's been getting them her entire life. Usually, the nail tech will ask how they can do it and we discuss the best options for her to be able to get a manicure. That ranges from me holding her arm out and hand open while the tech polishes and I'll hold her hand open while they cure under the light and sometimes the techs will just figure out what works best for them. At this salon, the tech just said he couldn't do the mani on the left arm. I repeatedly told him I would hold her arm and it would be fine, but he kept saying he couldn't do it. I don't know if this was a lapse in communication or what, but he polished the right hand fingers and stopped. The guy that did the pedicure was clearly uncomfortable having to polish her toes. She didn't get the lotions or towels, just a trim and polish. Pretty disappointing for her and me. They didn't charge her for polishing the right hand, but money wasn't the issue. She was absolutely disappointed unnecessarily. I didn't make an issue of it as to not upset my daughter further...I understand you probably have a good business, but you can do better than this. I am obsessed with my nails by Vanny! I got this mani/pedi combo done for a wedding that I am going to be a bridesmaid in. The bridal party was requested to come with "neutral" nails! Vanny knocked it out of the park! She recreated my nails based on a picture I showed her and it looks identical to a T! This is going to be my new color combo ! I got acrylic nails with a gel coat and the regular pedicure with gel French polish. I added on the callus treatment and then added on parafin wax for both my hands and my feet. The quality and service here is so good! They definitely make you feel 'lavish' here and even offer a beverage whether water or wine. To start, when I go to the beach I will typically do a gel pedicure so it will last and the sand doesn't have it chipping off in a day. I have been on 3 beach trips each in the past 3 months. The first time I went to another nail place because I had a gift card. Within 2 days at the beach the polish on my pinky toe had completely peeled off and some of my others were beginning to look the same. The next time, I came to Lavish (not my first time here) and my pedicure lasted the entire trip and up until my next trip. Ditto for my pedicure for 2nd time here. I will never go anywhere else for a pedicure because I am sold on the quality of work and polish products here. I scheduled an appointment with Mai. Walked in and it was not her they did my nails. I asked where she is and was told they are short staffed. It would have been nice if they told me she wasn't available before. Anyhow, pedicure was fair at best. I went to pay and used a reward on my stamp card. I paid cash, which they offer a discount for. I wasn't extended the cash discount and asked why. They told me I can't combine the two, so I said I'll use my credit card. They quickly changed their mind and honored the cash discount. When I got my change, I was $3 short, the exact amount they were supposed to discount on cash. I counted it back to them and pointed it out. They seemed surprised and confused. When I think about the process when I was there, the technician never put on the bonding gel prior to applying the powder. So, these will pop off soon more than likely. Amazing customer service. I have gone here for my nails since I moved in the area a year ago. I recently just found out I was pregnant and it just so happened that I started to get very dizzy and felt like passing out while getting my nails done. The staff got me a water and a coke helped me sit down in a more comfortable chair and turned the air on a little higher and made sure I was starting to come back to my senses. Nails and toes turned out gorgeous however the man who did my aunts feet John was very aggressive and acted like he didn't wanna be there. My aunt said that the vibes were off with him. Had the exact same service as prior and was charged $15 more than what is listed for that service on the website, and $5 more for what my mom got than what it listed. Was my favorite but neither location is worth it. My last visit which was 10 weeks ago has left me dealing with a terrible infection/fungus in my toenail that is extremely painful. I can't put polish on it because it causes pain within a day. Can't wear closed toed shoes because it causes pain. I have to keep my foot off the side of my bed when sleeping because the weight of a blanket hurts. I have been through 2 rounds of antibiotics and 4 different nail treatments. She was very rough during my pedicure to where I had to jerk my foot back several times. My daughter and I went in for a pedicure. I asked for gel and my daughter asked for regular polish. The nail tech who performed the service for my daughter was fantastic. The nail tech who did mine rushed through my pedicure, walked away to wax another client in the middle of my service, and didn't even trim my toenails. One of my toes has half the gel on it and I got it done 1 week ago. For a "luxury salon", I expect my gel pedicure to last longer. I will not be back. I finally removed the separators myself and then had to wait and ask check out for payment. I could have certainly walked out without being acknowledged. So i actually went there yesterday with a friend and she had peter and i had Sara and after our visit we talked and overall had the best experience. She said that peter was super sweet and very careful and overall did an amazing job. And Sarah was also amazing and so gentle and did not make one mistake, she was very patient and soaked my previous acrylics off and i ended up going with dip on my real nails and she ended up doing such an amazing job. Very disappointed recently. I have been going here for over a year. In the summer of 18, an employee convinced me to do the SNS dip polish. In the beginning and depending on the length of my nails, the mani lasted at least 3 weeks. Over the past few visits I noticed that it was not lasting as long and the polish began pulling away from the nail between 7 and 10 days. I went Saturday and had the white tip dip polish. I specifically asked for the brand name. Imagine my surprise when I looked down during church to see a chunk out of my right thumbnail and then a chip out of my right pointer finger on Monday. I hadn't done much other than simple housekeeping - nothing that would dissolve polish. So after work I went in and it was obvious that the tech was a bit irritated at having to fix it. Then the girl that did my nails on Saturday came out and really didn't look at me. When the tech was finished I looked at the nails and they look completely different than the other 7. The girl THAT DID my nails started making excuses. I mentioned that she was the one who did my nails Saturday and she DENIED it. You know how I recognized her? HER NAIL POLISH. I remember thinking it was a nice shade and then noticing each nail was different. I realize that each person has a different way of doing things and there may be differences in shades. Terrible eyebrows! omg what a nightmare this was going here to get my eyebrows done. Fist off they don't clean the soft bedding like thing you lay down on with a regular kid of pillows so that's gross it felt wet. I asked for just a clean up and trim on top slightly is the word I used. I never use eyebrows makeup because I have pretty dark brows and don't have the time. When she waxed she had a weird method and she was trimming and tweezing a lot. I looked at them and told her they were completely uneven and looked bad. She then explained that my face was uneven so that's why they looked like that. I've never seen a worse job. So finally someone else came to attempt to fix it. I barely had any hairs left. So she tried to fix by taking off more and more hairs leaving me looking dumb with these tiny thin little eyebrows. They should have just waxed them off COMPLETELY AND DRAW ON WITH A SHARPIE because that's what it looks like. I'm so embarrassed by this. I usually have full brows and this was on my Birthday so even worse I had no way to fix them or draw them on. Complete Nightmare and all my Birthday Pictures look like crap like I don't have eyebrows. I should've not had to pay for this "service". I'm just too embarrassed to show a picture online. They didn't even feel bad about this like it happens every day??? Also they do crap nails I've given them 4 chances with nails and fail every time. My tips and dip powder was lifting up and chipping off on the top and a few had cracks in them after just 3 days!! That shows their quality of work. They have a terrible attitude and don't think you notice when they are talking bad about me or other customers I've seen. The tone and body language speaks for itself here. I had an appointment at 9:30. I arrived at 9:20 and was told to check in. At 9:50 I finally asked someone if my appointment with Tiffany would begin soon. After yelling around the salon for a few minutes I was told that I would be "fit in" with someone when they were available. I drove 45 minutes to this salon and was told my appointment wasn't going to be upheld because they took a walk in instead.
